This was a delightful comedy. Peggy Mount and Robert Morley were hilarious without trying. Hope you will share more of this genre!

The wonderful Peggy Mount.. She was a star. The casting for this was superb. Those were the days, comic office cleaners and the tea trolley coming around at break time. Always a happy working environment and no stress. Love this film.

The 2nd piece of advice I've always lived by is never admit you're at fault. Just state the facts as they are asked and nothing more. Great movie!

better than modern crap!

I used to watch Peggy Mount when l was a teenager great. Enjoyed the film very much.

This is so good, I normally watch movies from the '40s and dislike later eras of black and white but these are great.

I swear a very young, waifish (until she opened her mouth,) Juliette Kaplan played the communistic, worker's party Mrs. Higgins. BUT IMDB says it was Miriam Karlin. I'm sure they're right but still. In the film, that chick looks and talks just like Juliette Kaplan......
