The quality is fantastic! I wish all of these old videos would steam this clear. Not only that, it's beautiful, these old restored films. It's charming when you see two pieces of film strip have been taped together, and all the little scratches etc. It adds to the charm, as long as they aren't pixelated. Thank you for who ever posts these great video quality movies. 😀👏

I have been known to get up, leave and refuse to continue the conversation. 4 children between 17 and 25. LOL.
NO, I did NOT supply the cell phones.

There is nothing worse than trying to do a transaction with someone while they are simultaneously talking on a cell, texting, or taking photos and posting to Facebbok to see how many 'likes' they get. Great writers who could write witty, sarcastic, and very funny dialog, something the money-grubbing idiots in Hollywood nowadays couldn't write if their life depended on it. The father: I love horses. The girl replies: If you loved them you would stay off of them.

The only use of the term "lounge lizard" I've ever heard in "older" movies is heard in the first minute of this one. Needless to say, it isn't complimentary. And did it have the same meaning then? I don't think so. Then it's likely just a heavy drinker. Nothing about motives. A $1000 in 1936 is equal, "supposedly" to $18,565.57 in 2020. I doubt $18,565.57 has the buying power of a $1000 bucks in 1936. Of course, all things being equal, better to live now than then. I'd have died some time ago for want of modern medical attention, my wife would have died at age 6. So of course our children would never have existed. For one thing, I love Central Air and indoor plumbing. Yeah, a golden age in the past is a fantasy. Even the Elites did not live that well. Nor all that long.

Does anyone else think that this actress looks a lot like Christina Aguilera?

The last 5-10 minutes redeemed the previous 60-65 minutes of this movie.
Not really all that bad, you just wondered who was going to wind up with whom or what.

This is a VERY funny, romantic, and well-done flick! Men these days should get a load of dressing like men instead of bums. Ladies? Thank goodness they can dress more comfortably/practically, these days, and still be ladies. Thanks PF.

When I first watched the film I thought Evalyn Knapp was Constance Bennett. I'm not familiar with Knapp's work.
