One of the most reliable SUVs most people own in my opinion but not better than Toyota
Very reliable!
The fact you always see these cars with well over 300-350k miles on them and their still running and driving speaks wonders, if it wasnt for their awful fuel economy I would get one myself. I have a 02 camry with 210k miles on it tho, And when I went to my mechanic to get it inspected he joked and told me "Dont worry, she just reached her break in period"😂
but remember, these were much less expensive than land cruisers
@@will5150won’t lie I would rather have one of these fully loaded than a Land Cruiser of the same years
Funny part is that these are better. Timing chain will always surpass OHC belt V8s. Not to mention how cheap these are to run. Land Cruisers and most toyotas are severely overpriced for no real reason.
2000-2005 were such great years for vehicles. Honda was amazing at that time, the 1998 Civic that dropped me off for my first day of Kindergarten lasted me all the way through my 2nd year of university.
That's awesome!
Love these things. They are comfortable and have a good amount of power.
Random Dante’s Peak reference but yeah. I honestly did not expect to hear anything about that movie ever
Nice truck lovely sound🔥🔥
Absolutely!
great video man love your comentary!
Thank you for watching!
GM peaked (post malaise era) right around here.
I’d love to see you now test drive a denali of the same gen which came with a 6.0 and share your experience with both and the differences and which one would you prefer. Thanks for the awesome content, absolutely loved this review!
Thank you for watching! I'll have to look out for one😎
Doing a 0-60 in the rain is crazy 😂
That color is awesome especially in the sun, it color shifts from teal to dark blue depending on how the light hits it
Yes, it does!
Complete opposite temp wise in Texas. Happy its hit rather then cold. I hate the cold.
They also had Suburbans in the original Twister film.
That's cool!
@ 4:00 .. not sure what the ticking is, but mine does the same thing🤣 In stock form, without exhaust, intake, or suspended mods.. the feel of the 9th Gen Suburban is absolutely intoxicating. Just a great suv to be in. My 03’ Z71 has 250K and runs as smooth as silk, even with the potential lifter tick. Outstanding review!
Thank you for watching! They are great cars.
That guy was on ur tailgate like
I always liked the taillights on these Chevy's because they had amber turn signals. I guess Chevy thought these were going to be exported so they designed them with amber lights. the previous ones didn't have them and the following gen. didn't have them
The 2021 Tahoe/suburban has is
Seems to have a slight tick. These suburbans and Tahoes are really cool. Do you think you can review a newer version like an 09 or 2013?
I'd be down to film one.
Nice video! Is there cruise control on this one? If so, where are the buttons at?
For some odd reason, they put it on the turn signal stock
Yes, it has cruise!
@@Johnsonbra Interesting...
Definitely try to review a Ford Excursion
I'd love to review one.
Request: 2004 Chevy Tahoe white Z71 POV test drive
I'll lookout for one!
@@DMCarReviews ☺️
I have a Suburban 2006 that has a line on the side in gold color and written in the line Suburban and the Chevroli sign. What is the name of this category and where is you located?
Not sure! Located in Frederick.
5.3 liter v-8 followed by a 4-speed automatic transmission with an overdrive
Correct!
Hey, how come you never do any sound system testing in the cars you review? Personally, I think you’re one of the best POV car reviewer’s out there, your driving style is similar to my own lol but feel that is the only thing missing in your reviews is sound system test. Just curious.
Thank you very much! If I do that, I'll get copyrighted, so I don't want to risk those issues.
@@DMCarReviews gotcha, that I figured, but I thought I might as well ask. Thanks for the fast reply, I always look forward to your videos keep up the good work.
@@grieferjesus4424 Thank you for watching! Appreciate the support.
@@DMCarReviewsjust play no copyright music whenever possible. Or listen to the stereo off camera and state ur opinion
was it ticking?
lifter tick
Why didn’t you start it?
Battery was dead.
@@DMCarReviews but it was started
V12? Bro what??
I thought some of them had V12's...
@@DMCarReviews are you thinking of the 8.1 V8? That was the biggest engine offered and only optional on the 2500 HDs.
@@churchyandfriends Maybe ahah
@@DMCarReviewsthese either had a 4.8, a 5.3 or a 6.0 v8
may have been thinking of the v10 in the ford excursions
Looks very outdated for 2005
Nah
But it's beautiful and it works. I have 2006 cattle for 670,000 miles, all of them in the agency's condition.
They only look good with the z71 trim or color matched bumpers
Подозреваю, что ты немножко рашн...
С чего вы решили? :)
depending on which engine it had, these tanks weren't slouches. Pay for it at the pump but they had some power
