Hey I was lead to believe from an online post that this camera was also wifi accessable through our android phone. I am also trying to access the footage through my phone and not just a computer. Is this possible? Would be great news if I could have a bit more convenience handling it.

Before I go buy a dash cam with parking mode, does anyone think this product set to motion detection, would work if I put it in my car at night? What I'm trying to do is, if it happens again, to see who is keying my car. My apts won't buy a parking lot security cam. Would this be a good product to see who is messing with my car at night?
My initial reason for getting this was to see who was breaking into my car (since I went through that twice in 1 year). Honestly I was worried about leaving it on the dash cam cause someone may like the device and break into it, but if that’s not your concern I’ll say it’s a good choice since it’s discrete. A dash cam is also a good idea tho too, I didn’t get the dash cam initially because the people who break into cars around my way are well aware of recording dash cams
What color does it flash when charging my battery hasn’t left 22 all day
I did a trial run with this with regular video (I haven't tried night vision or motion detection yet). It actually worked fairly well. The biggest challenge was getting that tiny card out of the side panel.
People with longer nails have it easier, but a lot of times I’ll use something like a paper clip to push it in so it can then pop out. But trust, I know the struggle with getting the micro SD card out of the slot 😂😂
You can also just plug the usb power cable into your computer and access the footage directly. This way you don't need to take the sd card out. Edit: Transferring data over the cable is much slower than directly from the card. It's USB 2 speed with the cable compared to USB 3 speeds with the card.
Can you also do this with a phone?? iPhone in particular?
Can this do motion detection while in IR mode? If yes, what is the button combination to do that?
Great video! It works just the way you said, however when I turn on the "V" bottom to record, there is a 2 hours delay on recording. If I tap on the "V at 9 am, it starts to record on 11 am. Any explanation? Thanks!

How many hours roughly does a 64gig card get?
I know it can record for up to 50 hours on a loop, but how much time before it starts to loop?
On continuous recording.
Hey, so loop recording is done every 10 minutes and will continue to loop and save every 10 minutes until the memory is full, then it will save over the oldest recording to make space for the newest recording.
So on the 10 min video will it do multiple 10 min or just the one 10 minute video.
Hey, so you got it right on your first guess, it will do Multiple 10 minute videos until the maximum memory is reached. Once the maximum memory is reached it will record over the oldest recording.

Ok so I haven’t bought a usb reader to plug into my iPhone.. but I put the sd card into a Obama phone and when I play my recording, I just hear audio.. do you think the video doesn’t show because the phone isn’t a updated phone to watch the videos?

With mine, soon as I'm away from WiFi or AP for more than 10 minutes, the app says camera offline, even if I'm reconnected to wifi and close to the device. I don't know if this means it's no longer recording or in standby or what? I've reconnected to 2.4ghz WiFi many times, works fine to start then soon as I walk off away from my home WiFi and return it says camera offline and I have to press buttons to wake it up.
If its recording to the msd (256gb SanDisk) whilst showing offline then that's fine but there's such a lag between the cam and software I can never be sure.

Hey, so make sure it’s powered on before pressing the V button. Use the reset pin reset it and try it again, let me know how that goes

When it records does it emit any type of noticeable glare/recording light?
Hey, That’s another thing I love about this, it does not emit any light to the human eye Even when night vision mode is turned on. It uses infrared lights but we cannot detect it 🥷🏼

Hey, It's possible that the card is corrupted/damaged. I would switch the SD card immediately. If you’re using a different SD Card that did not come with the power bank camera then Format the SD card for the hidden camera.
So if the third step already activate motion detection mode, what is the reason that we need to press v again in the 4th step ? Under motion detection mode on the manual
Hey, that’s to enter motion detection. To enter motion detection standby mode, hold down the "V" button until the solid blue light turns on, then press the "M" button once. The solid red light will indicate that it is in motion detection standby mode. Press the "V" button once, and it will blink 3 times, placing it in motion detection mode.
So if I’m understand this correctly, the Standby mode will only keep the camera detecting for motion for 1 minute. If no motion is detected it will shut off. On the other hand, if I press v and the red light blink three times and shuts off, that’s when the camera will start recording whenever there’s motion, without the 1 minute limitation until the battery runs out , correct ?

Hey, so when the light is showing red this way that just means it’s on motion detection standby. When you’re there just press the V button once and it will blink 3 times to begin motion detection
could you please help me? I have a problem. After I saved my videos on my phone, I put the SD card back into the camera. The next time I used it, I noticed that I can no longer turn on the infrared light. When I press the button to turn on the infrared light, it no longer flashes red blue as usual, but lights up red and when I repeat it, it jumps from red to blue . Hey, In this case I recommend you save your recordings and reset your device using the pin-hole reset option. Try it again and let me know if that works

Yeah you can actually. Once you get the device in the motion detection state, press the “M” button once; the infrared light will turn on after the red & blue lights flash 3 times (meaning the device has activated night vision while in motion detection mode).

Yeah night vision works in both ordinary recording and motion detection. Once you have it in the motion detection mode, go ahead and click the “M” Button. The blue and red light should blink at the same time making it look purple. If that doesn’t work I’ll look for the manual, but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works.

Hey, I’m not sure how far it can catch motion detection, but I know the closer the better. Can I know where you have it positioned? If need be, I recommend saving your recordings and resetting the camera through the pin-hole reset. Let me know if that works

It seems to be working now..will check when I next go to swap out cameras( I got two so I could swap them instead of having to recharge on site..The only issue I have now is that it is saving the files as AIFF instead of MOV..is there a way to specify MOV? Yes, but It will affect it. After you asked I covered the infrared lights with sticky notes and the night vision was still able to emit light (not visible to the human eye), but it was far less night vision. Good question tho this one shocked me, I didn’t think any light would get out.
Any idea why it is no longer saving to the micro SD? I've tried wiping it completely and letting it rewrite the folders on it (which it does) but the videos still aren't saving. Thanks in advance!
Figured it out. Moving items to the trash doesn’t take it off the sd, gotta have it plugged in and empty trash for it to actually wipe it. (On Mac)

That usually only happens when the memory is full; but this is happening without your Micro SD being full? Let’s double check your memory, if that’s not it, Try swapping the micro SD card so we can rule out it’s not the Micro SD card itself is not the issue.

My night vision stopped working it will only do regular and motion now. It was working great now it won’t let me turn it on.

STANDARD RECORDING
To activate standby mode, hold down the "V" button until the blue light is solid. Click the "V" button again, and it will blink 3 times, indicating that it will save recordings every 10 minutes.
MOTION DETECTION
To enter motion detection standby mode, hold down the "V" button until the solid blue light turns on, then press the "M" button once. The solid red light will indicate that it is in motion detection standby mode. Press the "V" button once, and it will blink 3 times, placing it in motion detection mode.
INFRARED MODE
To start standard recording, hold down the "V" button to enter standby mode until the solid blue light turns on, then click the "V" button again and the "M" button once to activate night vision. The blue and red lights will blink 3 times simultaneously, indicating the infrared mode is enabled.

Is the 10 minute save time configurable?

I am somehow able to motion record but it doesn't seem to be regular mode recording. When in standby mode (solid blue light) I hit the V button once and it blinks blue three times. However, no video recording when I check the SD card. Am I doing something wrong or is there a different way to do it? I do not have a manual and this is not the wifi app based one

Can the type C port charge devices or thats only to charge this device? Mine doesn't want to charge my phone on the usb C port
Hey really good question, I bet other people are wondering this too. So the Type C Port is an input port which charges this power bank hidden camera.
However, if you have a cable with a usb adapter on one end and a type c adapter on the other end, you will be able to charge your device. I’ll post an example for you below:

@@thegadgetrabbithole the card somehow got corrupted ... I had tried using a 128gb card and once I had done that the 64gb card stopped working when I put it in the card reader and into the computer. The camera didn't record on it either.. I tried to record on the 128gb card and it made my media player flash on and off the screen. I'm returning the camera pkg I have and getting a replacement sent to me already. Next time I'm only going to use the 64gb card that already comes inside .. it's a hassle to get the cards in and out anyways.

Hey good question; this camera doesn't have a mobile app. The videos are saved on the Micro SD card which you can then insert into the flash drive.

These cameras are hot garbage. I'm on my 3rd one, after the first 2 didn't work at all. This 3rd one, has big green bars across the playback screen over a static captured image (zero motion). Evry file is corrupted, and VLC forces me to create a log, before not playing video
