Easy to Set up
Download and install APP [HDlivecam] and add your spy camera.
Enter your phone's WIFI settings and connect with the spy cam unit's WIFI signal 'Care--APxxx', which will enable a point-to-point connection.
Within the device settings on the APP, choose your home or office WIFI and enter the password to get onto your 2.4GHz network. Once on the network, you will have access to the spy cameras' live stream on your phone when away.
How to do if I unable to connect to Wi-Fi? Please troubleshot the following steps by steps
Before connecting:
Please allow APP to access Location/Local Network/ Notifications/Wireless Data permissions when installing.
Make sure the frequency of your home router is 2.4GHz only in advance. (Not compatible with onvif / phone hotspot)
Please turn off your Android phone "Mobile Data" before connection.
Make sure the hidden camera with sufficient battery power.
While connecting:
Please let the wireless spy Camera, Phone and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi home router closer together when pairing. Distance within 5 meters could get better signal.
Home router Wi-Fi name and password only support English letters and numbers, not support special fonts or symblols.

Ok, I’m going on a cruise and those of us who have been on a cruise know how the Wi-Fi is well, this still record if I don’t have Wi-Fi? And if I don’t have Wi-Fi, will I be able to use a SD usb cable for iPhone to view it?
🔥🔥 I never been on a cruise, but I’m actually planning to go on one soon enough so I’ll know what bad Wi-Fi is like soon enough. Honestly this one works solely off of Wi-Fi. If you have Mobile Hotspot it could work, if it’s strong enough tho. If you’re questioning the Wi-Fi reliability, I would probably use the offline hidden camera and check out the recordings when I get to my room 🙏🏽

Hey 👋🏽 , so it depends on if you purchased the Offline or the Online Version. The Online Version Requires an internet connection to work. If your phone has Hotspot you should be able to.
Honestly, I recommend you return this one and purchase the Offline version which lets you record with the buttons instead of the APP.

To answer your question, you can only start recording on the Online Camera through the APP; the Offline Camera utilizes V & M buttons to record.

Three questions: 1) When I click on "MicroSD card" under Settings I'm getting a prompt saying "No SD card was found in this IP camera!", even though I've tried different cards. Any ideas? 2) If I'm outside and want to use the hidden camera, I'd have to connect the power bank to my phone's Wifi hotspot for it to work, right? 3) If I want to use the hidden camera mainly when I'm out, should I have bought the offline version? So each time I want to use the spy camera, I first have to re-set the device (4:20) by hitting the M button and then the V button for the flickering lights, then wait for CareAP to show on my phone as an available network? Gotta do that process each and every time I use the spy camera?
Hi! If the online version is not connected (not setted up) with wifi, can the motion detection starts the recording on to the sd card (as other offline power bank spy cam from another firm)?

1. Go into the APP
2. Settings > Home / Away Assist
3. Toggle on the Switch
4. Click Away
5. Turn on the features below
This lets you view in real time what’s happening when you’re away, while using the features.
Under Settings>Scheduled Recording what does this do and how do you set it up?
Scheduled Recording lets you schedule recordings.
Go to Scheduled Recordings > enable the “Switch” > enter a time interval (start time & stop time) regarding when you want the device to record.

Hey, honestly I wishhh 😫, but it does loop recording so it saves videos every 10 minutes.

When I put SD card in card reader in phone last night was able to test out and worked fine.today brought to work to record a video and when I stick card into reader and connect to phone it says I need to reformat is this just because I am off wifi

For this one press the M button to turn it on. The power button only turns in the display. Does it not turn on when you press the M button?

So I have 2 of these spy cams one I had a few vids and was able to view on phone through card reader I then put SD into this device and viewed a video through same card reader but now my next attempt and I can't view anything even older vids not showing its saying I need to format I tried that for an hour but nothing happened
Try to connect it to a USB and then connect it to a computer instead of your phone and let’s see if the videos are there to view
I have a issue mine keeps cutting off after about 5 hours it just shits off i don't mo how to pick a 24hr on mode and it only be at 80% then it just cuts disconnects from wifi

Hey I was recording a 4+ min long video and when I hit save it didnt save the clip. Will I still be able to access past recordings if I use my sd card and look through that?
To answer my own question: Yes. Just simply tap the sd card button on your camera menu screen in app

Great video. But I’m having trouble connecting. I make it all the way to 90 percent then it says connection failed. It won’t go any further and finish. Any tips?
Thank you and Hmm that sounds like a connection issue for sure. Let’s make sure you’re on a stable Wi-Fi (We want to rule out that your internet connection isn’t the problem).
If the Wi-Fi connection isn’t stable try using your personal hotspot on your phone and follow the steps in the video; Hotspot also works like Wi-Fi for this device. Let me know if you could get connected 🙏🏽

Hey, so you turn the device ON/OFF with the M Button.
This device saves what you record into the micro SD Card.
I want to set it to record for a few hours, how do I do that? because when I minimize the app, it stops recording.
You can minimize the app and still record, you just can’t close it out.

Whats viewing angle
Hey Good question, I believe it changes depending on the height. I think at low level it captures 90 but when it's at eye level it does like 110, but 150 at high level. Hey so it so when the blue light is on 💡it is an indicator that it’s in standby mode in the offline version. Question, are you trying to do Ordinary Recording, Motion Detection Recording, or Night Vision Recording?
