Love the video. Thumbs up! Been using tajima for approximately 15 years. They're hands down the best. Run smooth and the lines are crisp! Also love the stretchy line itself! You won't be disappointed
Man I'm glad this was suggested to me. I've already shared it with all my builder friends, hopefully we can help this channel explode, you certainly deserve it with the quality of content you're putting out :-)
I've been using a tajima chalk line for 2 or 3 years now and it's the best line I've ever had, I highly recommend it. I'd like to try an ink line at some point I've heard good things about them
I scored a Milwaukee chaulk line off a while back. It's really nice, however it's massive so it's not great to carry around all day. I think I'll pick up the Tajima soon 🤙
I was a buck fan for years & my steelfixing belt is still buckaroo, but I went to a diamondback set-up a year ago and it’s the best thing ever! Organisation plus plus
Late to the party, but I'm running a buckaroo rig with both their 'bespoke' pouches. Very good setup, but as I'm a DIY'er the temptation is to load up the belt which makes it as heavy as all get go. I had my back trashed in a car rollover back in '96, and the buckaroo system is the only setup that allows me wear it all day.
Never to late man! Yeah the bespoke stuff looks great. The leather definitely gets heavy when fully loaded. There are also some really nice lightweight, nylon options now available too. Badger tool belts Obvious tool co Diamond back
and yellow wiss tin snips. not left or right but straight haha. i use them a lot when i’m working especially steel framing but u can use them for alot of other things. it’s like extended finger pickers. lol
Love to see the content! I’ve recently purchased a carpentry course so I can learn to become a carpenter, very eager to learn and look forward to seeing more videos
2 questions Does the speed square fit ok in the upper pocket of the 4 bag. The one you keep your phone in? And from the pics online the 4 bag looks pretty tight. Do the pockets open up a bit as they age?
check out the good rule. i swapped my 1m fold out for it and don't think I could go back. its a bit shorter only opens up to 600m, but gives you a 45 edge and makes 150's super quick to mark
You know what is said by experienced travelers about what to take along on trips. What you didnt need on the last trip should be left at home on the next trip. Same logic should apply with carrying all those unneeded tools all day. Dont forget, you can always say, Hey mate, can you flip me a mistake hook. I mean a cats paw. lol
This is the best setup ive seen..hope you dont mind me copying it a lil, and great channel bro well spoken too!!! Im really keen on being a carpenter and making this my career but im 32 with a dicky knee from skateboarding in my youth would this stop me from going into the industry?? And if not, hows the obvious setup going looking at going with that one?? Thanks Lewi
Best tool belt setup ive seen on TH-cam so far, love it! . . . Almost as good as mine 😜 haha jokes Is the lazer distance measurer rechargeable? Ive been trying to find one online for ages but they all seem to take aaa batteries? New subscriber 😎 💪❤️
Haha thanks legend! 🙏 Yeah it is rechargeable. However my new one is AA. Someone suggested I get rechargeable AA's that are kept in the car that way you'll never run out of juice. Not a bad idea.
Only thing your missing is a JBL Clip bluetooth speaker. I hang mine on my left loop where your ldm is. It has a built in caribeaner! It's my main tool haha 😎 🎶
I'm an apprentice carpenter and trying to decide whether to get more frogs and bite the bullet and get a second bag, specifically the bespoke one. I currently have a 3 pocket bag on my left, then my combo square frog & tape frog in the middle and finally hammer & chisel frog on my right. Would really appreciate some advice.
Hey Mick! Keep in mind running the double bag setup gets pretty damn heavy!. Guess it depends what type of carpentry you do. I do really like the look of the bespoke bags having extra organisation. It's a hard call mate. Shoot us some photos on insta if you're on there. 🤙
Yeah I get you, the shoulder straps definitely help distribute the weight. I do really like the look of diamond back setup! I would love to give that setup a go one day
Highly recommend Tajima chalk line if u still haven't had one.
Cheers! I have seen a few people online mentioning them. I'll pick one up! 👍

Your absolute legend! Really appreciate it mate. I'll take all the help I can get at this point 😅
You have a cool visual and a good presentation of the material! Your channel deserves more views! Thanks for the video
Thanks mate. Feel free to spread the good word! 🤙
The back side of the knife is for cutting plastic pallet/box straping etc.

I love the look of the diamondback belts! I am big on organisation. They also look fairly lightweight too!
@@viking.designs they look lightweight and they are, but because they’re so organised you end up carrying more stuff & any weight savings are lost 😭
Haha yeah I can imagine 🤣

Yeah I've got the left and right tin snips in the tool box. I don't find I use them quite enough to justify their weight. 🤙

That's awesome Billy! I know I'm biased but I think carpentry is a great trade. 😁
Keep an eye out, I've got plenty more on the way.
What’s the name of the course?
I'm convinced I just seen this set up in blokes and their nail bags
mate, I swear every second nail bag is similar to my setup 😆

Ha!
I knew it was coming but I still laughed at the walk bit.
Nice kit.
Wasn't aware of Buckaroo but will check them out.
Haha Cheers Jim! Glad I got a chuckle. Yeah they are quality mate 👍
The small pocket above is for the speed square, thank me later.

Yeah that’s a good point mate.
Mistake hook 😆
Some nice tips here. I am in the UK managed to find a Buckaroo belt, great belts
Thanks Brian! Certainly are mate! Enjoy 🤟
Your editing is very impressive, surprised you don’t have more views man!
Thanks so much mate! Yeah tell me about it. 😅 Feel free to spread the good word. Hopefully views will come with time 👍
A real EDC
he forgot to mention it but I saw the Channel Lock brand nipping pliers in there, works arguably better than a cats paw for pulling nails.
Good catch 👍
I have almost the exact same set up, although a month I upgraded to the bespoke pouch which is just awesome
Really? Ahh I'm jealous. I need that 😅
@@viking.designs yeah I'd send a photo, but I'm not sure you can do that on youtube
@viking.designs if you're on insta 🤙
@@viking.designs 👌I'll send it through on Monday, not working today
Get a tajima metal body chalk line. And get a Lennox gold utility knife (it’s white)
Almost bought the tajima yesterday. Ended up walking out of the hardware with 2 Milwaukee guns instead. 😆
Next time. Thanks for the tip

Yeah for standard carpentry the knee would do fine. You can do most work standing up. Maby dont joina flooring creew
Thanks for sharing

Cheers Dante! Appreciate it mate 🤙
what was your pencil holder?
It's called a pica pencil
With the music and the camera work, I feel like I was roofied at smoko.
Nice one dude. Where’s the factory?
Thanks legend. It's in Wollongong. Near Belambi Bunnings

did you mod or cut the pouch to fit that hammer loop frog on the right side?
Nah, no mods. It is tight, however it does fit. 👌
@@viking.designs cool thanks 👊👍
Does your lower back hurt when wearing this Rig all day?
Honestly, after having this on all day, basically everything is sore. 😅
Lower back isn't a massive issue for me.
Thank you for the response brother I appreciate it 👍
that carpenter pencil where can i get them to buy
Just Google Pica pencil. Shouldn't have any trouble finding one.
I have also linked it in my description above
how long have they held up?
Hey Jonathan. I'm actually currently running an obvious tool co. setup however the buckaroo showed no signs of failing
Ah made it just in time to be the 200th Subscriber :)
You legend Stan! I need all the help I can get mate 😁
thanks
You're welcome!
Tajima chalk line
As soon as my Milwaukee one goes, I'll be picking up the tajima 🤘

Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving the diamond back a go one day too
Esse equipamento é demais gostaria muito de adquirir este sinto e suspense foro
Thanks Davi! It is great stuff!
How much weight u carry...omg.....too heavy buckaroo belt and bag are heavy...try diamond bag slightly lighter or other non leather bag
Yeah I get you, the shoulder straps definitely help distribute the weight. I do really like the look of diamond back setup! I would love to give that setup a go one day
Stop being a wuss lol diamondback isn't even that much more lighter lol you're talking about 50 grams
What size belt
Think it's a 34 from memory
that tape measure looks so foreign to me
Haha where are you from Marcus? The U.S??
@@viking.designs Nova Scotia Canada
Wow! Literally the other side of the planet
This weight! No Thanks
