I have watched a lot of tool reviews and bag setups, and this is by far the best setup I have ever seen. It also mirrors a lot of the same items I've found in my search of the best items or tools for the job. I noticed you don't have a huge following yet, but the quality of your videos and selection of tools makes me believe this has the potential to become a very large channel. You've made the jump from learning how to use the tools; to mastering skills, and now publishing what I think is one of the best 'EDC' a general handy-man or general contractor could ever have. A few years ago I didn't know as much as I wished about tools, and I always wondered what I could do if I had 'that' tool; now I understand a couple tools with the right user can do just about anything. This tool bag is a perfect reflection of that philosophy. While most of the tools are of high quality and not necessarily cheap; if someone took enough time to understand the purpose and maximize every tool in this kit they could accomplish 80% of any repair or 60-70% of any project they ever wanted to do. If I had any advice for anyone watching this video it would be that if you invested in this exact toolset you would be amazed how to matter what you want to work on, how many jobs you could complete in comfort with this kit. Everyone should subscribe and click that bell! Really looking forward to what content you are able to come up with in the future; what an amazing kickoff to a channel!

Wow man, I really appreciate your words. This bag was the consequence of maybe two or three years of switching out tools, lugging around big set ups, and just noticing what works best for me, while pick up tools that I can get the most use out of.

tool bags and tool selection is not necessarily my forte but I’ve spent enough time working w an electical contracting crew and with some guys that are very adept in this area. Everything you say mirrors what I have had to put together from many different sources over a handful of years loving this. Keep it up!

If you want a different topic for a new video, perhaps you could show us the supplies you keep in inventory and take to your jobs. Best headlamp for your kind of work is the Zipka by Petzl, HANDS DOWN. It's going to last wayy longer per battery than the milwaukee and the size/weight is unmatched by any brand period. You could fit 3 of them in a breast pocket if you wanted. I've tried at Least 30 different headlamps and this one beats them all no question about it (for general purpose at least)

Hell ya man! I have a super similar layout for my tools.
    I would add:
Electrical zipties that have the screw holes(can be used to strap down conduit or bundle wires they are also generally heavier)
Klien wire stripper mini linesman tool(bright blue handle) fills multiple roles in a single tool. Light weight for general work keep full sized tools in electrical specific bag
Impact rated drillbits(small kit)up to 1/2 inch for wall anchors etc.
Automatic center punch to prevent drill bits walking.
Demolition chisel(side strike chisel) for cutting in door locks. Breaking shit.
Battery holder. AAA size holds 6 batteries
Teflon tape... can double as thread locker in a pinch.
Duct tape small roll...because duct tape.
I also keep several options for allen keys and torx look at the wiha allen bits they have great boxes and are reasonable same with torx
Makita makes decent compact socket sets as well
Small klein coltage tester. Cheap and can help diagnose problems.

      More stuff!
Strap wrench-- non marring and can pull your ass out of the fire for plumbing and handyman stuff.
Cobras you need a second larger set! They work best in pairs. Pliers wrench can sub in but can also crush plastic pipe more readily!
      Picks...for poking and scratching things!
Glue/loctite -- small bottle gorilla glue, super glue, glue stick style blue loctite

The almost immutable rule I have observed in the trades over many years is this. The older and more experienced a person becomes the less they carry with them into a building or facility until they assess the job and determine what they need. I remember working with my grandfather years ago and he just carried a simple grey sears craftsman toolbox with a few things in it… To maintain all of the stuff he had at the apartment houses that we kept up.
We could’ve had so many more tools then he carried (I didn’t carry much of anything because I was a little kid) but he really wasn’t able to carry a heavy toolbox so he didn’t bring much along unless he knew he would need it.
I have figured that out along the way as I’ve gotten older and my back started to hurt, that I have tended to remove anything out of my tool kit that I don’t use at least a couple of times a week unless it’s some thing that if I had to have it I couldn’t buy one somewhere close by at the store if I was in a bind.

@@natedoggin1077 true to a certain annoying extent... but I still stand by the sentiment that I can get 90% of the work done with 10% of my tools. The other 90% of my tools are specialty items that serve specific needs or are for large jobs.
If I know I am going to do an equipment install I will probably take my more extensive kit, but for daily maintenance... a small backpack kit generally gets me by these days.

If you want a better headlamp, stay away from tool stores and look at flashlight forums. Through extensive research the best ones for the price I found are the Sofirn sp40 and the Wurkkos HD20. The HD20 uses a 21700 while the sp40 uses the 18650 battery. The wurkkos is slightly heavier, more powerful, more bulky, and more versatile, but is also almost twice the price of the Sofirn. Also, the HD20 is actually made by sofirn but they sold the designs to wurkkos for some reason, hence the similarity. 18650 and 21700 batteries are much high performers than standard Alkaline.
Also the HD20 can use 18650 and CR123 batteries if you have the battery sleeve, I believe the HD20 comes with the battery adapters for this purpose

I use pretty much all that you have the issue I have with Milwaukee lights is how fragile they are. They all seem to fail in the same location for me, and that's the clip. right now they are all clipless and missing the magnets that are all so useful. I returned them to the dealer for a warranty replacement took three months to get them replaced then they broke in the same spot a month later. Mind you that I never even used the darned clippers . Just would normal tool bag or pants pocket.. it's a shame..such useful lights particularly the longer one.
My most useful light presently and the surprisingly cheapest one is my rechargeable headlamp from wal-mart it has two lamps on it, the charge lasts me all day sometimes two. it's bright as can be, 400 lumen at least. one lamp is for wide angle and the other for long throw.. combined you get to light up an entire field. It's a fantastic light if you can find it.. so good in fact I own two now.
One tool that you are missing in your review that is beyond useful to me and a life saver is a pick set.. I use a craftsman set about 10 inches long or so. and it has 4 picks one straight one curved at a 90 degree one sort of curved and one with a finger bent shape ,, I use those suckers for just about anything from aligning holes in condenser covers so that I can start screwing in the 1000 bolts it has, to picking out circuitry in a mother board, or even detailing something , like to get grease that's been caked on a screw where you can't even tell there is a screw there.. tons and tons of random uses for those things, highly recommend you get yourself a set.. longer the better..
Another thing I use a lot is a contraption made by Nite-eze gear tie. It's like a chord that's you can shape in any way you want as well as you can use it to tie up your gear.. I've used it to make a phone stand, a flood light hook to hand my floodlight of an odd shaped locations, I've used it as an extra hand to hold something for me as I fix it. and of course to wrap up my gear..
hope this helps you and keep up the good videos

I used to keep my bag filled like yours to have a nice setup but it gets heavy. No need for so many lights, just a head lamp and a good flashlight with a stand is great. Milwaukee makes needle nose wire cutters that could do the job that three of yours do. Definitely missing a wonder bar, those small blue pyrbars don't compare. Speed square and vise grips are a must.

I have the Milwaukee rechargeable headlamp. It’s a little bigger than the one you have and that makes it a little heavier than most. But I like it and it has great run time if you keep it on the low setting it’ll go for 2-3 full days. On the highest setting it’ll run for 4 hours only.
Nice video, take care. I’ll keep watching

Franklin Sensor stud finders are the best and easiest to use if you just want a accurate location without too many other silly functions. There are various iterations but they all are multi LED based. OLFA scissor are smaller and better made than the Milwaukee ones. A tin snip (I don't think you showed one) can cut more than you expect. You may also try a Hilti Installation driver with the 4.0 batteries. You will just eliminate a few unnecessary tools. I find that anytime I actually need an impact, I need to move up to 18V. 12V impact and hammer drills are pinch tools. BTW The batteries on the Milwaukee makes the handle large and fatiguing to used all day. For multitools, Fein is a bit bigger but it will be worth the investment. Finally the new Klein strippers with the plier head is a good compromise if you want to carry a 1/2 lb less. On a larger tools, get a larger Tove (Gransfors Bruks) wrecking bar, it always comes in handy when you need naneuverable leverage.

Well thought out setup. I really like the Knipex Cobras but you might want to add a 6" plier wrench. Won't mar chrome fittings. Also, I just picked up a Petzl Pixa 8 head lamp and I really like it. In a test, it ran at least 6 hours on high beam (forgot I was running test so didn't see when they ran out after the 6 hrs) on two freshly charged AA enegizer rechargables. The wide beam makes working in the dark really nice since it lights up a wide area. Keep up the helpful vids!

That razor knife IS my pencil sharpener. I also suggest that you may want to upgrade your outlet tester to a klien circuit tracer ($30) it has all the same functions plus it can help you find what breaker feeds the outlet. I'm an A&P too but I haven't had much luck with stripped out screw extractors. If you have a stripped out countersunk screw 9 times out of 10 your going to drill it out. For a button head you can slot it and use a flat blade screw driver.
