I’m in the same boat. I have more stuff fall out when I lay it down on the floor in a Reno house where the walls are all finished. Drywall screws, construction screws, 2 or 3 sizes, wire clips, brad nails, you name it,, I wonder if the fabric pockets would be better than the leather pockets I have

I started building back in 1921, still pounding nails to this day.. sometimes I build by myself and other times I bring my old lady with me.. she’s pushing the years but still has a strong back.. although on those heavy work days, she’s usually too tired to rock my world at night.. that’s when I have to hit the clubs,, and bring me home a young one..

My son graduated this year and his first job is with a concrete business. It’s 3 of them and he has enjoyed it even with the physical demands of the work. The enjoyment comes from the guys he is working with. They have some fun along the way and get along great. He was happy to see that you don’t really “grow up”. Haha. It’s true. I always been struggling with nail bags it seems like there’s always something right now I’m using akribis really like them but I don’t think the hammer holster has the right angle so the hammer falls out midway maybe cause is a Martinez hammer and the weight it’s on the head next year will give a try to the badgers

Im a firefighter by trade. We carry tons of stuff in our gear and have to build muscle memory so you can find it in the dark while panicking. Its fun😂. I agree, as an old guy carry less in my toolbelt. My late father was a builder and theres a surprising amount of crossover.

I really like badger but for $150 less I can have the belt and an add on pouch plus free shipping from diamondback. The badger does look higher quality though (and cooler) wider pouches too. (Compared to the artisan/Dawson at least)

Tim I have been following awesome framers on Instagram for a long time back when I was working in a mill shop. I eventually went back to residential remodeling and custom homes. I have used many tips and tricks your page has provided. We always route out our windows. I try to build on the ground when applicable but that is not always the case on what I do. I love thinking out side the box and appericiate you guys insight on different techniques. I also love those pouches and would not mind owning a set. Much respect from our crew in Florida
