World's Safest City Is In AFRICA!? Kigali, Rwanda (#75)

  • Let's be honest, we all have preconceptions about Africa before going there. But if there's one country in Africa that you may have heard good things about in the media, it's Rwanda. It's so clean and organized, they said. But reading about it is one thing, actually experiencing it was another. I wasn't expecting at all what I found in Kigali, being that the country was destroyed barely over 20 years ago. I was so shocked that I had to go and support Rwanda in a basketball game, and see if I could help them over the top against the mighty Cape Verde.

Yes it is. I'm also black in South America and it is possible but it will take alot of work and time. Some people won't get rid of their bad habbits it will take them some time to adapt to it. We started cleaning campains all around the city and educated people on tv and gave them flyers and info and started adding more trash bins and recycling bins for only cans and plastic bottles for recycling and i have to say my country is cleaner then ever. Some people may continue their bad habbits but it's verry mininal now so to make a change people need to do something about it.

Rwandans are a proud people and for a very good reason.
In 1994. the west had been mostly focused on Bosnia because it's in Europe. Today Bosnia is still a mess, while Rwanda has blossomed and they did it all on their own!! 👍👍
