I found there were quite a lot guns in Kampala when I went there a few years ago especially in comparison to what is the case in my home country . There were even armed guards outside the cathedral in rubaga when I went to church . These rural areas I don't know about ,could well be a lot less guns if any hopefully . Lots of good people in Uganda.

When I visited Uganda, we run into a Circumcision ceremony for a newly turned 18yr old Mugisu boy in the mountains... I was so sad because I didn't carry a camera. They invited us to the ceremony and it was mind boggling..... Very very interesting ceremony!

Honestly watching Tommy, Harald, Balds vlogs etcreally shows the real way to travel, travel doesn't have to be complicated with package tours and just visiting major cities and seeing what everyone else goes to see. Good travel is as simple as going to a random village, meeting local people, traveling the unbeaten path, spontaneous adventures, experiencing how other people live their lives in different countries. Something I'll keep in mind when I'm planning my next trip.
I stumbled upon this video and I fell in love with this language and the village, growing up in a village this looks like home, and reminds me a lot about home, and that language sounds so much related to mine wooow, Africa, we are indeed one.

You will never find an obesse person in our village. If they are obesse it's because they have a thyroid problem and do not know. Our mountains ⛰are our gym. In the US tho, first time I saw an obese person, I almost run away. I was so scared and to make matters worse this person was using a scooter to move around the store. I asked the person I was with why that person did just abandon the scooter and walk. To be honest I didn't know the human body could get big to the size of people in this America. When you go to a reaturant. Some of these obese people eat like their lives depended on it. Like the world is coming to an end. When they re done eating, they get up and breathlessly leave the resturant. In some restaurants in Uganda the server would tell them to their face that they need to loose that weight. Ugandans are bold they tell you right to your face. Bold but polite.

We share alot especially in East Africa,Am from Mbale eastern Uganda,Mugisu by tribe, funny enough,we share same cultures and hear each other in our native languges with some of Kenyan tribe's like the Luya,Samia,Babukusu .......but when you look into history,you discover we have the same origins based on migration in Africa and colonialism of the continent which separated communities.

Bambi my country is beautiful especially in villages. It reminds me my village in central and how we could walk for hours and greeting everyone then in city you walk less and greet less.

It is a beautiful country. The people are amazing. I can't imagine the shape you'd need to be in to navigate the mountains daily.
There is so much beauty here, and on so many levels, the people, the local scenery, the people, the larger scenery, the people, the tranquility, the people, the simplicity, oh yeah ... and the people.
Reminds me of rural Ghana. Damn I miss Africa
