- It Only Had One Pass Left, and Tony MADE IT COUNT! After years of chasing the infamous holy grail of GTR passes, Tony Palo and the T1 Race Development finally dipped their toes in the proverbial pool of GTR success! Not for lack of trying though, as the team has invested countless hours of their efforts towards this one moment. It couldn’t have come at a better time, finally knocking this achievement off the priority list means that Tony and the T1 team can tear the car apart and rebuild something straight devious. We know the T1 team is capable of ridiculous things and we could not be more excited to see what this monster returns as!

Harly it's not a normal gtr because a stock gtr bae a 3.8 size motor and these have a 4.1 to 4.4 size motor
Singleturbo 1995 its not that is because the turbo set up they just dump out the bumper off each bank they dont reconnect like the used to so its sounds almost like 2 ,3 cylinder engines running

idk about yall but i actually hate how all those gtr's sound i love the sound of the stock location ones more of a smooth purr much like the JZ engine family with proper big single. Dont get me wrong they are insane but i prefer the gurggle inline style sound vs what these produce.

Isn't everyone doing this with "non stock location" turbos? Or did we develope a special class for T1? These classes grow faster than corn
He meant there is a new class that where the stock placement for the turbo goes,are being place in front of the car.so that gtr along with other custom gtr cant compete stock turbo placements class since they place on the front of car for more boost.
I guess this class only for turbo cars only.

Going RWD with a liberty now. I guess he found the limits of the drivetrain. Two years from now he will put some big tires on it on race the street outlaw guys at no-preps.
Luther Rogers How did he find the limits when he doesn't hold the record? Alpha logic is running 6.70s and ETS is right behind them they are the only shops that have cracked off tons of 6 second 1/4 untill they give up there is still plenty left on the GTR just depends on how meany transmissions they are willing to replace since that's the weak point of these cars at this level.
I keep hoping to see some of the 1320 guys up here in Minnesota, for Proving Grounds, but it gets shitter and shitter every year. May as well just come up for power cruise.

Tyler Webb it's simple physics dude. "Big wang" standing tall on the trunk lid, disrupting airflow, "active" or not, is going to make the car slower.
Why then, does T1 made the "drag" wing, which is almost a completely FLAT piece of sheet metal?
Making it rwd will make it faster. But a lot harder to drive.

I watch every 1320 video that comes out and of all the cars that I see go down the drag strip these high-power GTRs sound the absolute worst. Is it the smaller displacement? Theyre usually 3.5 liter and under correct?

RWD a liberty trans and 9" doesn't make a GT-R. It makes the most expensive way to run fast at the strip, he essentially admitted defeat with that statement and the GTR's limits have been reached.
SP392 he got his 6 second pass. Admitting defeat would be going this route before hitting 6’s.
Great, but it stops making sense after that - it'll be a GT-R body on a pro mod chassis and eventually a blown hemi engine. The drag racing recipe was defined decades ago and that isn't changing.
SP392 true .. full chassis cars / pro-modified with twin turbo/ blown alcohol hemis rule the strip. I think they should give it a full chassis, make it RWD and keept it VR engine and see whats possible with that combo.. i would say low 6‘s
