  • All in one polishes can cut, finish, and protect the finish of your car, truck, or motorcycle. In the last few videos, we have talked about paint enhancements and one step polishes. Now we will look at four fantastic All-In-One polishes that will turn that paint around and give it deep gloss and protection.

      I've used Griots Finishing Sealant and it was just ok. I guess if I'm gonna go through the work of polishing, I'm going to put much better protection on the vehicle. Yeah it adds a step, but it doesn't take that long. Thx for cool video.

      I like Rupes Uno Protect... I let it set up for about a half hour, then use Gtechniq C2 Liquid Crystal to remove it. I use this combo if the client is cleaning up the car for a potential trade or sale.

      None. I waste more time trying to clean this crap out of pads than I ever save by skipping a protection step at the end. And as you noted the protection is minimal anyway. I can do an enhancement and a spray wax and get similar correction with better protection in less time.

    My opinion is that id stay away from AIOs and just get a good product on top after a few light passes for short term protection

    Another good video brian. Ty . I don't offer all in ones . Not only do I want my customers smiling when they pick up their vehicle but also smiling a month, 3 months or whatever down the road . I figure if I'm putting machine to paint I'm going to get the most out of it within what the customers budget is and just spend a little more time laying down some form of protection. Currently my go to is one and done and a couple different ones from malco .

    Hey Brian big fan of the channel! One of your statements over the years about being careful about chasing perfection I use a lot when I'm working on my cars and in everyday life in general. It's tiring being a perfectionist and can get you in big trouble. My question is you say you don't do many multi steps anymore just coatings and films but isn't it recommended to do some sort of correction before the coatng is applied if so what is your normal process depending on condition of the paint. Thanks!

    Hello, quick question.
    I find it usually takes me about a year to go through a Polish or a compound and I find that when it sits for a while even if I vigorously shake the bottle before use I get very mixed results. Sometimes it won't cut at all and sometimes it leaves scratches and it cuts very well. Should I be putting it in a tub so that I can manually mix it every time before use?
    Thanks

  • @edfaizal80

    Uno protect is very pad dependent. If i want more cutting power, I use a wool pad but only suitable for a very light swirls, micro marring and light watermarks.even with wool pad, it will take more time to remove the defects that I mentioned than using a compound. The pad will become sticky and I usually use a compressed air to clean it regularly and wash it with a multi purpose cleaner and water after I finish using it. Suitable for customers who just want their car to look shiny and don’t have the time to leave their car for a proper paint corrections which usually take a day or two.Protection wise hydrophobic behavior usually gone after 5 wash and it becomes hydrophilic after that but the gloss last for a long time. This is my experience with my customers. I try to avoid doing a multiple paint corrections because it is very time consuming. As much as I enjoy looking at the end result, but doing it is a different story.If I can get the same result with only a one step, I will go for it.

    Recently I have been researching on options for a compound/polish combo or AIO suitable for a soft Honda Civic white paint with minimal dusting and is beginner friendly to use.
    I was thinking Sonax perfect finish, 3D one, AngelWax all with an orange/white Pad or auto-fibre 50/50 pad, carpro essence or Carpro Fixer all as 1 steps. Also not sure about which products to use as 2 steps for soft white Honda paint and would appreciate advice

  • @Centaur008
    @Centaur008 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I feel they have good protection but it's very likely diminished with the heat from the polishing action. I guess one could do one last quick pass with fresh polish but that kind of defeats the purpose and wastes polish; might as well use something like Technicians Choice ceramic detail real quick at the end. So far my only AIO has been 3D SPEED.

      I have a ton of experience mobile paint correction with hd speed and the rupes uno both are great in direct sunlight, but hd speed definitely has the edge in direct sunlight especially ease of use part of the equation. Added note also I too use and love the euro fiber 50/50 pads. The only thing about those (from my personal experience) compared to using any kind of foam pad is it seems to break down the protection more in the aio's compared to again any kind of foam pad when correcting.
