You did a great job! The holes in the hosta are probably caused by slugs eating the leaves. Also, I can't say they are the exact same, but I have hosta that look like yours, and they do fine in the sun. But, you are correct, hostas in general do prefer shade. But some are ok with sun. It depends on the variety and your zone. I'm on zone 5. After the roses blooms fade, just cut them back and they will keep blooming. The Lilly is not dying. The blooms just faded. It may rebloom this summer. If not, it will definitely rebloom next summer. Happy gardening!
Thank you so much! And yes, I noticed that there are bugs eating them 😩 so I’ve been researching different things to deter them. I heard that cayenne helps, so I’m gonna try that and see if it helps. Thanks for watching! 💖
That’s correct, some of the hostas can tolerate sun. They look fine. Mine get lots of sun. Gardens are always a work in progress. I think the tall tree you have is a rose of Sharon.
Their soooooo beautiful 😁 I can’t wait to do mines u def picked up some really pretty ones 😊
Thank you!!!! 🤗 They haven’t been doing too well since it’s been excessively hot, so we’ll have to shoot for next year. But thanks so much for watching. 💖
It turned out good. The lily’s don’t bloom for long, they are not dead. You should add mulch to the garden, it will help retain moisture and just finish it off.
Good to know! I wasn’t sure if adding more mulch would be doing too much lol. But I’ll definitely add some more. Thank you!!! 💖
Exactly!!!
Looks great. The Lillie’s only bloom for a short time, they are not dying. Some plants go into shock when transplanted, just water and fertilize.
Ohhhhh that’s good to know! Thank you!!! 💖
@@DorianNicolethe lilies will come back next year. Great Work!
Thank you!!! 🤗💖
You did a good job, I like the plant selections they are gonna make that space look soo good when they get bigger.
Thank you!!! Im hoping that’ll be the case. I’m going to plant some marigolds soon. I heard they do good with keeping pests away.
Hey Dorian , I’m new to your channel. I love what you’re doing with your plants. They are beautiful. ❤
Thank you!!!!! And welcome to the channel! 🤗💖
You did a great job in transplanting your flowers and love your new border. Sometimes your plants will go through a transplant shock from being moved around. Make sure to get some fertilizer and water.
Thank you!!!!! I did read that the plants go through transplant shock (of course that was after the fact 😩🤣). So I’m hoping they can be revived. I bought some fertilizer, so fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the tips, and for watching! 💖
Exactly!!!!
Your front garden is beautiful ❤ That’s a hibiscus bush that your neighbor gave you. Be careful they can be invasive
Thank you so much! And yes I found out that’s what it is, but it didn’t do too well with the transplanting so it’s not growing. I’m hoping it comes back better next year 🤞🏾 thanks so much for watching 💖
I have a dog that barks at everyone outside too😂😂😂😂 your garden looks great!
lol!!! I’m glad I’m not alone. It drives me insane because he wouldn’t hurt a fly but he loves to act like the big bad wolf 🤣🤣🤣
Your doing great nothing is dying….What are you fertilizing them with?
I’ve been using Miracle Gro plant food 🫣 if you have any suggestions, please share because my babies are struggling 😩
Looks pretty. Where did you buy the solar lights
Thank you!!! And both sets of lights are from Costco. 😊
@@DorianNicolethank you ❤️
When you remove some established plants they go into shock just keep watering them and feeding them they will bounce back you have a beautiful garden
Thank you!!!! 🤗
Nice
Thank you! 🤗💖
Get some fertilizer or plant food organic soil most plants go in Shock when u move them Dig plant up twice as big so u not cutting roots
Nothing is dying baby. You have to constantly deadhead your flowers and petunias are heavy feeders.
Thank yoouuuu!!! They are definitely struggling though with this intense heat 😩 but I’ll be posting a video soon of me deadheading them. Thanks for watching 🤗💖
It looks very nice. You just need to fertilize and water
They are going thru transplant shock. I use fish fertilizer Alaska 511
Thank you!! I’ll have to try that!
New friend here, tfs ❤
