5 Mistakes to Avoid as a New Real Estate Agent
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So, this is the first time I’ve watched your videos. I would like to help you out with the peace lily. Only water it when the leaves are droopy. If you water it every time, the topsoil is dry you might overwatering. I have many peace, lilies, and I only water when the leaves get droopy. And the spider plant I believe they say they want only purified water, which I believe you said you are using. But I think that can take a warm room. If I were you, I would do more research on those plants.
Thanks for the advice! I thought the droopy leaves on the peace lily meant that I had to water it more 😩 but it’s been doing good, so I’ll just wait until the leaves get droopy. And I think I’ll be moving my spider plant back into my office because it hasn’t been growing since I moved it to the living room where it’s a little cooler. Thanks so much for watching!
Here for the 1st time. The thumbnail got my attention! I love this video
Welcome to the Fam!!! And thanks so much for watching!! 🤗💖
New friend here, tfs ❤
Heeeyyy!!! Welcome to the channel!! 🤗💖
@@DorianNicole thx!!
WATER YA PLANT AT BASE DONT WATER IN HEAT EARLY BEFORE SUN AT BASE OR YOU BURN LEAVE IF U WATER IN SUN DONT WATER THE LEAVES THEY WONT LAST ONCE A PLANT IS DOING GOOD DONT MOVE THEM
Thank you!! I have to do better with watering them first thing in the morning.
Get some fertilizer or plant food organic soil most plants go in Shock when u move them Dig plant up twice as big so u not cutting roots
You are a breath of fresh air ❤ classy intelligent black women with integrity still exists. I love it 🥰

I love house plants
Yesssss! They’re my new favorites
Fritonias needs lots of water
That’s what I read 😩 I’m doing good so far, but we shall see lol. I’m gonna try my hardest to stay on top of watering
@@DorianNicole Becca de la plants loves fritonias and found a perfect pot for it. You may watch her video and see where she got it.
Nice

Definitely cleaning inspo 💕 I always giggle at the doggies following their mommies/daddies around when they clean. I have 2 cats who sit at the top of the steps watching me clean like I work for them or something, lol! I love how girly your house is, and your closet room is my favorite. 🥰 I hope you feel better 💗
Thank you so much! 🤗💖 and yes!!! These animals are something else lol. And I love cats!!! I’ll be getting one soon
It looks very nice. You just need to fertilize and water They are going thru transplant shock. I use fish fertilizer Alaska 511
Thank you!! I’ll have to try that!
When you remove some established plants they go into shock just keep watering them and feeding them they will bounce back you have a beautiful garden
Thank you!!!! 🤗
Just ran into your video for the first time. I get excited seeing others gardening, as it is a passion of mine. Some tips if you don't mind. The hostas are getting too much sun, as the nice lady said before. You could move them into some beautiful pots and place in the shade. I would lay down cardboard in the flower garden (helps with weed control) and add a good layer of mulch. Mulch will help with moisture control and warmth during the winter. I found the best thing for my garden in banana water. It is free and chemical free. Your garden is looking great.
I didn’t think about moving the hostas into pots. That’s actually a great idea. I’m going to try the cardboard too because these weeds are killing me 😩 thanks so much for the tips and thanks for watching! 🤗💖
Hi! For future painting projects wrap your roller brush in plastic wrap and they will stay wet and ready for the next day. Eliminates the need to wash them after every use.
Hi! Thats a great tip!!! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for my next paint project. Thanks so much! 🤗💖
Just happened to come across your video and heard you say leave any tips so hopefully you don't mind. Firstly, your hostas will continue to burn because they are shade plants. They will take morning sun but evening is too much. I use variegated monkey grass around my borders-- they love sun, add beautiful color and come back every year. The dianthus, which is the first flower you spoke of, starts to look dried up and spent once it gets really hot-- they are wonderful in the spring but don't like high heat. As far as your roses, after the first big bloom of the season I trim mine back just a touch because they bloom on new growth. If those are regular and not mini knock out roses, they are too close together because once they take a hold, they will get big, unless like I said, they are mini and not regular. You did right by cutting that long stem off your rose because it looks like the beginning of rosette disease which is common with knockouts. Be careful or hold off with the fertilizer when your plants are already stressing and it's hot out. And with transplanting, make sure you dig far enough away from the base of the plant to get as much root as possible, water them more, and know that some plants go into shock if moved wrong but usually bounce back. Lastly, don't stop trying, once you kill off a few lol you'll figure it out. I've been digging in the dirt for over 40 years and sometimes it's still trial and error but always rewarding. Best of luck to you!
@@itzchelle236 OMG!!!! YOU ARE A GEM!!!!!!! Thank you sooooooo much!!! I really appreciate all of your advice. Im definitely taking notes lol. I think im just gonna let them do whatever they’re gonna do for the rest of the summer and then start over next spring. My roses are double knockouts, so I’ll try transplanting them and just be mindful to dig a little further away. I’ve also never heard of variegated monkey grass, but I looked it up and it looks lovely so I’m definitely going to try that. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise! 🤗💖
@@DorianNicole You’re more than welcome and keep on working with your yard to make it beautiful because it sets the tone for everything else.
Yesss! Thats so true! That’s why I’m trying not to give up lol.
Hey Dorian like your garden start under watering plants that help with the crisp leaves and water in the evening or early morning
Mulch will help keep them moist and Hosta in hibiscus love water
Thanks so much for the tips! I always get nervous with watering because I don’t want to over-water, but it seems like I may not be watering enough. But I’m probably just watering at the wrong time of day 🤦🏾♀️ thanks for watching! 💖
@@DorianNicole your welcome not sure if you like coleus but they love sun and salvia
Hey Dorian , I’m new to your channel. I love what you’re doing with your plants. They are beautiful. ❤
Thank you!!!!! And welcome to the channel! 🤗💖
It turned out good. The lily’s don’t bloom for long, they are not dead. You should add mulch to the garden, it will help retain moisture and just finish it off.
Good to know! I wasn’t sure if adding more mulch would be doing too much lol. But I’ll definitely add some more. Thank you!!! 💖
Exactly!!!
You did a good job, I like the plant selections they are gonna make that space look soo good when they get bigger.
Thank you!!! Im hoping that’ll be the case. I’m going to plant some marigolds soon. I heard they do good with keeping pests away.
Your doing great nothing is dying….What are you fertilizing them with?
I’ve been using Miracle Gro plant food 🫣 if you have any suggestions, please share because my babies are struggling 😩
Nothing is dying baby. You have to constantly deadhead your flowers and petunias are heavy feeders.
Thank yoouuuu!!! They are definitely struggling though with this intense heat 😩 but I’ll be posting a video soon of me deadheading them. Thanks for watching 🤗💖
A doctorate program ???!!!!! GO AWF sissy ! You are AMAZING. I would love to see house hunting videos with maybe an adding bonus if you could show what you would diy in the space.
Pray for me 😩🙃 lol. And ohhhhh! House hunting videos sounds like a good idea! Definitely have to add that to the list
Their soooooo beautiful 😁 I can’t wait to do mines u def picked up some really pretty ones 😊
Thank you!!!! 🤗 They haven’t been doing too well since it’s been excessively hot, so we’ll have to shoot for next year. But thanks so much for watching. 💖
Your front garden is beautiful ❤ That’s a hibiscus bush that your neighbor gave you. Be careful they can be invasive
Thank you so much! And yes I found out that’s what it is, but it didn’t do too well with the transplanting so it’s not growing. I’m hoping it comes back better next year 🤞🏾 thanks so much for watching 💖
Nicee👸🏽Great job ✨💕✨
Thank you 🤗
You did a great job! The holes in the hosta are probably caused by slugs eating the leaves. Also, I can't say they are the exact same, but I have hosta that look like yours, and they do fine in the sun. But, you are correct, hostas in general do prefer shade. But some are ok with sun. It depends on the variety and your zone. I'm on zone 5. After the roses blooms fade, just cut them back and they will keep blooming. The Lilly is not dying. The blooms just faded. It may rebloom this summer. If not, it will definitely rebloom next summer. Happy gardening!
Thank you so much! And yes, I noticed that there are bugs eating them 😩 so I’ve been researching different things to deter them. I heard that cayenne helps, so I’m gonna try that and see if it helps. Thanks for watching! 💖
That’s correct, some of the hostas can tolerate sun. They look fine. Mine get lots of sun. Gardens are always a work in progress. I think the tall tree you have is a rose of Sharon.
Looks great. The Lillie’s only bloom for a short time, they are not dying. Some plants go into shock when transplanted, just water and fertilize.
Ohhhhh that’s good to know! Thank you!!! 💖
@@DorianNicolethe lilies will come back next year. Great Work!
Thank you!!! 🤗💖
I have a dog that barks at everyone outside too😂😂😂😂 your garden looks great!
lol!!! I’m glad I’m not alone. It drives me insane because he wouldn’t hurt a fly but he loves to act like the big bad wolf 🤣🤣🤣
You did a great job in transplanting your flowers and love your new border. Sometimes your plants will go through a transplant shock from being moved around. Make sure to get some fertilizer and water.
Thank you!!!!! I did read that the plants go through transplant shock (of course that was after the fact 😩🤣). So I’m hoping they can be revived. I bought some fertilizer, so fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the tips, and for watching! 💖
Exactly!!!!
Spray molding first then to size hang on the wall
Yesss! I realized that after I finished 🤦🏾♀️ but now I know for next time! Thanks so much!!
You did a really great job. Brava 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Awwww thank you!!!!! 🤗💖
It’s nice.
Thank you so much! 🤗💖
Love watching this video. Its inspiring me to go into my closet and do a haul ! Also where are you shopping for all these low prices ?!!! 👀👀
Yesssss!!!! Thanks sissy!!! And giiirrrrlllll…basically anywhere that has cheap prices and good sales lol. Ross, Marshall’s, TJMaxx, and Old Navy are my faves. Goodwill and consignment shops are great too, you just have to take the time to look.
I love a closet refresh video 😄Your closet inspired mine! I don't have nearly as many clothes though, lol 💕
Yessss! Thank you!!!! 💖 I never realize how much stuff I have until I do things like this. It’s really a problem lol 😩🤣
The truth about renting is the renter will always pay indirectly for repairs, tax increases etc through rent increases. Even if you buy a home at 8%, you'll always pay your landlord 100%.
So true! And the sad part is a lot of these landlords aren't even making repairs and using the rent money responsibly. Just continuing to increase the rent because they can.
@@DorianNicole thats a fact!
Love the space! Pothos, philodendron, zz plants and succulents or some easy and beautiful plants
Most hostas are shade plants meaning they cannot take hot sun most people plant them under shade (Trees)!!Are somewhere they only get morning sun!!
Ahhh!! Got it! I probably should have asked before I planted them 😩🤦🏾♀️ but they’ve actually been doing pretty well considering. We’ll see how they do throughout the summer *fingers crossed*. Thanks so much for watching and for the advice! 💖
The room is gorgeous!! I really love your decorating style. Even the things you're unsure about looks absolutely perfect to me.
Awwww thank you so much!!! ☺️☺️💖
Congrats on the beautiful office Queen... may your production be greater than your own expectations in your space 💙🩷💛
Thank you so much!! 🤗🤗💖
Hello, why didn’t you take the moldings down & spray paint them? Nice job! though. Thanks for sharing.
Hi!!! I didn’t even think about that 🤦🏾♀️ putting them up stressed me out so bad I was just trying to get it done. Lol! But If I decide to try the moldings in another room I’ll definitely try that. Thanks so much for watching! 🤗💖

Your project is coming along well loving the pink and white 😊
Thank you! 😊

Thank you sooooo much!! 🤗💖💖
Hey, so for the area going down the stairs you can just make it a rock garden and add succulents ( hens and chicks) because it’s in a slope the mulch will run off and flowers might be harder to grow. Add some soil to raise the area where the cement is but not too much as when you add the mulch you don’t want it to be the same height, just a bit lower so it doesn’t overflow in the walkway when it rains. Good luck.
Ohhhhh I didn’t think about succulents. Definitely going to try that. My hostas that I planted down the slope actually just started blooming today ☺️ so I’m hoping they continue to grow. But I’ll definitely be taking your advice. Thanks so much!
Hello. I did a physical board the last 2 years, but now I want to try the digital vision board. I also need to do a mood board for my home decorations.
Heeeyyyyy!!! Yea this was my first year doing a digital one. I like the fact that the digital one is easier and faster and I have it saved as all my screensavers on my devices so I’m constantly looking at it. But I do like the process of doing the physical board a little better. And a mood board sounds like a fun idea 🤔 I may have to do one of those too. Thanks so much for watching! 💖
