I totally understand having dad issues friend . It builds resentment towards someone that you love , I was once a daddy’s girl until I kept being let down by the person I loved the most . He always use to say “I am who I am” and I never understood . He didn’t even want to build a relationship with his first born grandson (my son). He passed two days before my birthday in 2020 and i didn’t cry at his funeral . I went to therapy in 2022 for it and I was finally able to forgive a now deceased person in 2023. Because I finally understood he was who he was. Praying for you girl .
I never comment on YT videos. I’m one to watch and go about my business, but you left me absolutely speechless when I saw you at the Sally Beauty event in D.C. I want to kick myself for not telling you how much I love your videos and how funny/entertaining you are. I know we only get to see a glimpse of your life, but you also seem to be a fantastic mom. Jax singing you happy birthday made me tear up a lil bit. He has grown & evolved so much. ❤❤❤ you are a GREAT mom & you inspire me to be a better mom to my son. Knowing me I would’ve showed up to that lil potluck with some lil cheap cupcakes but not for lack of funds or anything but just lack of effort. But the little things really do matter and the kids joy is worth the extra effort!

Between adult life/responsibilities, grieving the loss of my friend who took her own life, career changes and relocating chile life is beating me tf up emotionally. But I know God put all of this on me to continue to mold me into the woman I'm meant to be. 🥺🙏🏾😩
Jaelah, When you said Daddy issues are real, I felt that in my soul. When I turned 30 I cut that nigga off. He was never consistent and it caused an insecurity inside of me that was not healthy AT ALL. I will be 46 in July and it was the best decision I ever made and yes I needed him but for my mental health I just couldn't. Some days are better than others but I learned that forgiving him was for me and not dealing with him was necessary for me to be able to move forward. I pray that you find your way through this. Just know you are not alone and you are loved by so many. Keep shining baby girl your light is sooo bright and although I am old enough to be your mom you have helped me in more ways than you know. Show yourself some grace you got this sis. ❤❤

Felt you on the stagnancy, daddy issues, 🥷🏾 issues, and boundaries. That’s the main themes I’ve been addressing in therapy as well. I find the best way to deal with all of those things is unconditional love for self, it helps you understand people are who they are and how they treat you is not a reflection of you, which then helps you pivot easier without carrying their problems with you throughout life and other relationships.

Yes, I wash my panties separately and they have their own little hamper. I use free and clear detergent, and no fabric softener. No dyes or fragrances for Ms. Girl.
When I do laundry I also have a red load, blacks and dark blue, lights, soft colors, and denim. Workout clothes get their own load too. It makes putting laundry away easier too!
