More information at www.christinakwarteng.com Updates: I do NOT cowash my hair as often anymore. I find that the Baggy Method helps to maintain the moisture.
I really love your hair! c: I now have a relaxed pixie cut, and growing it out! I'm really excited to see my real hair texture because I've never really seen it since I was very small. This is very informative~ thank you ^^
hey Chrissy, i just found your channel and i love your hair.I did my big chop recently. I would like you to make video more often on your hair.....so i could learn
Yes ma'am! Plenty of videos coming right up. It's hard Bc I have a weave right now but I'll still make a video and talk about moisturizing under protective styles as well
Your hair is gorgeous and so are you! We also have a very similar hair routine (my hair is just much shorter). You've inspired me to start baggying at night :D
your hair is very cute though! mine looks similar but I don't do anything to define the curls. I am a lazy natural. lol. I like my hair though. It is like a kinky curl but more kink. I don't care about it being real curly
Hello my beautiful sista! !!..now that's what I like sweet and straight to the point. .yes ma'am your hair looks really healthy! ...we have about the sane hair texture, and I'm going yo try the bag method starting tonight! !!yes..yes.....I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out...hello I'm your new subbie!
Very nice video, I'm one year and a couple weeks natural. Ever since I went natural I realised my hair stopped itching (it took a while to stop though) and my skin started to clear up do you think relaxers have anything to do with that?
Ann Toinette thank you. Yes I def. think your skin cleared as a result of less chemicals on your skin (scalp). See how awesome it is to work with God gives us?? :)
I know I'm probably late finding this video. But when you do the baggy method.. Do you still add all the products same prodcts that you mentioned before?
Thank you x. So for about the first 6 months post big chop, I cowashed my hair almost everyday and deep conditioned 1x a week. That allows for moisturized hair and aids in hair growth.
If I don't do baggy method, I just sleep without a hair bonnet. Warning: Ur hair will be super dry and matted so make sure u deep condition when you wake up just to ensure you regain some moisture!
Yeah so pretty much my routine has changed a bit since this video bc of the weather and the length. I'll make a new video soon when I take out my weave. I'm not sure the climate where you live, but if it's really cold like it is in NYC then u should consider protective styles like braids or a full head weave just to make sure your hair doesn't dry out. To answer your question, days I don't cowash my hair, I moisturize using the products mentioned in the above video; and do the baggy method.
what is your favorite shea moisture product that make your curls pop you love in how do you refresh your hair everyday i stay in wisconsin i have a short twa
Charles Williams the curl enhancing smoothie is my favorite. I do the same thing I mentioned in the video dear.... just cowashing in the morning and adding the oil and curl enhancer after.
You hair is so dense, thick and beautiful!

i can attest to the shea moisture's curl enhancing smoothie, leaves my hair so soft and shinny , gives me a nice soft curl, i love it.
