It's because it's a map mod for Sonic heroes, not a character/gameplay mod for Sonic adventure sadly 😔

It's technically the same scale. It's just that the characters in Sonic Heroes have much faster acceleration and a higher jump.

Ugh, the biggest problem are the jank controls and just how repetitive the game gets when you have to play through all 4 teams to unlock the last story. Also Team Dark's later stages and especially Team Chaotix stages can take way too long sometimes.
