    I was invited to a private dyno day at Fantasy Factory Performance in Pasadena, MD, so I figured we would throw my 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye on there to see how much power it is making. No mods, no tuning just straight stock horsepower from Dodge and this Redeye is running strong!

    Great numbers. You take a 12% drivetrain loss and that's right at 797hp at the crank. Mopar or no car!😁👍

    Was going to upgrade to a redeye, now thinking I might drop in a 426 into my scat

    • @SRTGHOSTS
      @SRTGHOSTS ปีที่แล้ว

      As someone who is doing a 454 stroker and just bought a hellcat. If you want something different do the 426 but cost wise the hellcat is way more effective to mod and make faster. I bought a base hellcat spent 3k making over 900hp. Spent 15k on my scat to make around 600 wheel.

    Does your Redeye have a chiller? I thought the Redeyes all had them. My 2022 has one but I don’t know if they all do.I did see that you did after I watched the whole video. My Charger 5.7 put down 441 hp to the wheels on a Mustang dyno.

    Very good numbers! It interesting to
    Know that Dyno pulls are in 5th gear! That’s because that’s usually what we get into in the 1/4 mile and it’s standard! No need to go all out in 8th for safety reasons! Great Video💪🏼👍😎

    • @SauerHorsepower
      @SauerHorsepower  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks, we actually dyno’d in 6th gear because that is the 1:1 gear ratio, that takes the gear ratio power change out of the equation

    Love your channel, and hoping to pick your brain about a new car purchase. Based upon your racing experience, what would be faster in the quarter mile, a narrow body Redeye, or a Super Stock? Both bone stock except for adding good appropriate drag tires. Your answer will determine my next purchase! Note: car will not be street driven and be used exclusively for drag racing...

    • @SauerHorsepower
      @SauerHorsepower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can shell out the extra coin, the super stock will likely be faster in most scenarios. Although I have seen some super stocks that are not able to run the times I did with my NB Redeye. Both are great choices, but the super stock does have more “gadgets” to make drag racing a bit easier.

    • @artillerybuff2000
      @artillerybuff2000 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SauerHorsepower Appreciate the reply. I actually prefer the regular body look best, but read the SS has a higher hp and revs 200 rpm's higher. But then I see how well yours runs and thought I'd get a Redeye and put some 17x10 wheels on the back with a good tire and keep up or even beat a SS. Yes, the extra coin for the SS is considerable and I'm not sure worth the extra costs. However, the SS may be worth a lot more down the road because of how rare they are.

    My Redeye Widebody did 712 RW HP… SAE. It all depends how they broken in when new! My buddy beat his from day one without breaking and his did 690 RwHp… SAE

    • @SauerHorsepower
