@@_A_Daytona_ one of my oldest friends has been doing it for maybe 9 years and makes over $90k. With no kids, no student debt, no cc debt etc, he does very well for himself. My hard work payed off and things fell into place for me, and I picked up my 22 Redeye 3 weeks ago. If you can swing one, you should. I've have a 5.7 and had 6.1s, a 6.4, a Hellcat, now the Redeye. She's wild.
@@navypackman that’s killer man, I currently have a 13 Daytona charger. It’s a 5.7 but it’s FBO with a tune. I have a few more things I wanna do to it but it’s fun to rip around for right now
Motivation here to become the fastest hellcat with weight reduction only, no mods on the engine. Hopefully when I take out the weight in my car and add carbon fiber I’ll be able to hit high 9’s main goal to hit 9.7 or 9.6 🥹

Honestly you will get 100 different answers, I know the engines go on the dyno at the factory and go through a break-in process there. Me personally, I just drive my cars hard from the second I get them and go by the theory of break it in how it’s going to be driven.

@@SauerHorsepower That's so true because weight of these hellcats, but it doesnt matter you don't feel the weight pulling u down. And yessir, coming months it's going to get so much cooler it'll be insane if you hit a 10.0 / 9.9 in the quarter mile. These hellcats are quarter mile kings
Based on the 10.13 I can for sure say a 10.0 is coming.... 9.9 will be a bit tougher though lol
@@SauerHorsepower Oh I dig that, 9.9 could be a stretch, but like you said in the video you were aiming for maybe a 10.2 and i think you said a 10.1 is a strech, and you ran a 10.1 first pass completely passing 10.2 lol. So who knows maybe a 9.9 or an extremely low 10.0 E.T time

@@SauerHorsepower same as I have, I just bought mine, can't wait to ge it home. What do you think about the Direct Connection power upgrades for the Hellcat, I think stage 2 will bring the redeye up to 885 and stage 3 over 900 I imagine. I'm up in Canada and it won't be available to us through the power broker dealerships like the states will have but I'll get it somehow.
Got a little ways to go yet my stock Redeye widebody went 10.02 at 138.35 best mph.stock redeye on a tire only both front seats.this season it should go 9.8 at 140+.im in fl it's still 90 deg.no way to prove or disprove mods.To many sneaky parts out there(reflashes,pulleys etc) Remember there is no records only personal best.look up stock tune Redeye.

Probably fairly close to the widebody Challenger Redeyes which’s is on average 10.3-10.4 in decent weather
@@SauerHorsepower I’m going to test & tune this weekend in sacremento hoping my 888R come in time if not I’ll go bone stock tires and all n see what she can do i have 1432 miles on it so far .... I have a DIRS brace, AAP drag pak , and Wiles Alum DS To put on as well hopefully by next weeks wensday drag nights
On stock tires you will have a hard time hooking up so if you get into the high-10’s I would consider that successful on the stock tires.
@@SauerHorsepower how much do your front skinnies weigh? I’m gonna buy a demon crate from guy on hellcat.org I’m gonna use those skinnies at drag strip and I’m gonna see if my charger can use the PCM for race gas from the crate

Assuming you’re on the 3.09 gears? I’m tempted to swap mine over to that, I’m by no means a drag racer though. Would you still make the switch for just street use?
Yes 3.09 gears... as for if you should switch, the 3.09 will obviously hurt gas mileage a little and have a higher cruising rpm on the highway. If you are ok with those two things then sure go for it, it does make it the car more responsive and a bit quicker down low. I have no complaints on the 3.09’s street manners

I’m a newbie here for a Challenger Hellcat Redeye WB. Can anybody tell me what’s a Drag Pack for the Redeye is it a special tire and wheel’s set up or a suspension set up?
Man that's rolling with no tune, I have the WB Redeye, with the drag pack, and I have the Barth Tunes, 70 deg, 2300 DA, a suck track (Louisiana), 6:00 pm. 93 octane 10.5 @128mph. MS 109 10.33 @130mph. Just waiting on some cooler weather, but impressed with the passes in the heat.
Yup you still have some strong times there, should knock a few tenths off easily when it cools down.

Great passes... At what RPM are you launching and what's your method if you don't mine telling.
Foot brake it to about 1500-1800 rpm then full throttle launch
@@SauerHorsepower I have launched at 1500 rpm but my trap speed is only 128 mph at 10.6 and the DA 500. I would like to get at least a 10.4 but I can't get my trap speed any higher to reach my goal. I will try 1800 rpm to see if maybe I see a 10.5.

So the demon doesnt even run 9s consistently but this guy wants us to believe hes running 10.1s in a stock red eye? They run like 1060-1080s stock lol....didn't know wheels shaved over a half second...Clearly the car is tuned. The reg redeye wont even run 10s without a tire lol. Are people really this dumb? Hes trapping 134mph. This is most likely on c16 or ms109. The guys are in t shirts which means the DA isn't even that good
Sir I suggest you do some more research on what times these cars actually run... my car is 100% stock powertrain, if it wasn’t I would’ve made a video on it.
Many other Redeye owners are running in the low 10’s on just a tire.
Are you just upset that your POS mustang isn't as fast as our boats? There are plenty of Redeye's running low 10's with just a wheel and tire combo. I have been able to do 10.43 at 132mph in decent weather and my car is 200lbs heavier than Sauer's and I weigh more as well. Check out SRT_Bone and see the times he has put down. Don't be upset that mustang's are lighter, but slower without a power adder. And don't forget just because someone buys a Demon that doesn't mean they know how to drive it.
@2019 speed Stang The supra runs 10.50s with a 300$ downpipe and 800$ software silly boy. I just sold a mid 9 second cts-v blower only lsa. The redeye is cool but Dodge guys tend to fudge numbers. Their owners are no different. Go where the air is better and show me 9s. Ive watched demons run worst times in better weather.
Please explain how I fudged numbers when you can see the time slip. I even mentioned in the video that we had negative DA. So I’m not sure what you think I could be hiding... It is well known that these Demons you see running 10’s have drivers that don’t know how to race. Money can’t buy racing skills. There are literally hundreds of videos of Demons running in the 9s, so again I’m not sure why you just lump all of the cars into one category just because you haven’t seen it in person. If you want to come check out my car to verify how stock it is, the invite is open if you want to travel to Maryland. Again.. I have nothing to hide, I’m trying to build a TH-cam channel and it would make no sense for me to hide modifications on my car if I’m trying to make videos.

The car was not tuned. Completely stock powertrain.
What specs you have it tuned to would be helpful. I’m considering getting a tuner for mine that I can hook up between service warranty to keep it from being voided but would appreciate any input.

No tune, no extra seats removed. It does have the factory installed rear seat delete.
