- This is a walking video through the Széchenyi (Chain) Bridge that has just reopened to pedestrians. It was being renovated for two years and now the city has planned some events on the bridge such as live shows, picnics on the bridge. They are also serving ice cream and lemonade. I'll also do a short walk along the sides of the bridge where you can see locals and tourist hanging out and along the Rakpart where they have closed the road during the weekends for pedestrians, cyclists and roller skaters.

How festive...! The Chain Bridge has been closed for quite a length of time...the sheer number of people returning for a walk is understandable
Yeah it was really nice. Lots of people. Thanks for watching!

Greetings from Naples, Florida. What a nice day for a walk on that beautiful bridge. We enjoyed the sights, sounds and scenery. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week. 💯
Thanks for joining!
Perfect, simple with just real sound and no selfies, thanks! (Funny thing, this "beach" here now...)
Thanks for the continued support Bo!
Estuve en Budapest hace 2 años, es una ciudad maravillosa. En dicha oportunidad el Puente de las Cadenas se encontraba cerrado.
The chain bridge was rebuilt by Soviet engineers and soldiers right after ww2 from materials brought in from the Soviet Union. This bridge and almost all other bridges of Budapest were completely destroyed by retreating Nazi soldiers towards the end of ww2. After rebuilding the bridge completely, the original British inauguration sign of about 1850 was re inserted near the bridge or on the bridge by the same Soviet bridge builders of the chain bridge.
ну вот толку от съёмок затылков и ушей пешеходов?)
I mean did you see how packed it was or?
