JVC HM250U and HM250SP Camcorders, In Depth Interview

Interview with Dave Walton from JVC about new JVC camcorders - GY-HM250U and GY-HM250SP. Both are very capable camcorders with 4K 40fps internal recording and ability to output 4K up to 60fps to HDMI output to cheap external recorder. But their main ability is advanched on screen graphics, especially for SP model that can interact with sport score boards and update graphics to keep track of game progress. It is very nice features and at afforable prices.

I know the camera has dual recording - my question is whether one of the recordings can be set without the sports overlay while the other keeps it. I don't want to have my raw footage with a forced imprint for post work.

I understand that the HM180 doesn't have the graphics and streaming - but how does the 250U and 250SP version compare? He only mentions the price on the U version but no details?

We have one of these but the monitor shows all of the display status items (such as REC, A, stby, etc). - I see in this video that that is not the case. How is it hooked up or configured to do that?

Got the hm200 and is an excellent all.rounder
Live streaming works well but when signal is weak rather than drop video quality it skips frames and u end up with jittery video but sound remains smooth

Do I need to plug my network adapter into my pc first to set up or just into the camera??

@@personalview7388 Unfortunately it does not give any info, other than recommending the usb adapter. I'm trying to figure out how to connect to Facebook, TH-cam, etc. If anyone finds videos on that, that would be awesome!

You should just be able to plug it straight into the camera

It seems like acess is via browser - "lower-third graphic overlays are generated and controlled using a browser-equipped device such as a tablet or smartphone"..

OK Mr. DAVE ... you suppose to talk about JVC cameras and their technical details, but you were talking BS about live broadcast connections to the fricken FaceBook, which I do not really care about !!!
Instead, I really care about video camera quality features themselves.
*Are they finally have being FIXED by JVC manufacture ??*
