I own this bike since a year, It got an upgrade to full15 horsepower and I really enjoy it. Easy to drive, dynamic enough to pretend a bit of "racing", Seat position nice as long you dont struggle with the wind :) For me a perfect A1 retro bike with modern components (technician says its a common Honda engine). Sound by the way is really nice for this cute little thing. With a bit custom styling you can real use it for daily soul rides afterwork and enjoy every single km. P.S: mirrors mainly show your own body - I changed them
@@csipi89 it was done by a simple software upgrade by the dealer. Just revealing the engine power which has been capped by the manufacturer. Because it is still within the 15 hp range for that A1 Category of bikes it is legal
I dont see anything wrong with Chinese bikes the Chinese use them all i would say is look after it ie wash keep clean any stone chip put paint on straight away lube check the bike and it will look good for years to come its laziness that killes them most parts are made in china take pride in your investment
My thoughts exactly. The amount of people that don’t look after them, keep them outside all year and then complain about a bit of rust. When your spending you own hard earned money on a bike you really do have to look after it. 👍
My technician who is an old HD Veteran said the engine as well as the transmission are mature Honda components..For me it's an absolute solid reliable little engine which comes with an absolute beginner friendly setup. Pure fun..and I meanwhile decided to keep this lovely bike in my stock even I will buy a bigger one in spring. To hard to give it away
I went looking in the shop yesterday at this bike, this will be my first motorcycle ever. And I think it would be a great first bike. Just checking some videos of this bike to make sure this would be the bike I will buy. Thanks for the video
I am old enough to remember when people laughed at bikes from Japan. The Chinese bike makers are coming on in leaps and bounds . This is a fantastic little bike.
I think that display is amazing for this price point - nice and clear, and everything you need to know packed onto it. Why can't manufacturers charging thousands more than this put something better on their bikes? If the only thing you can fault are the indicators, that looks like a bike I would shortlist.
Very difficult for me to comment as I’ve never tried a Brixton Cromwell 125. Looking at pics and specs they do look to be in the similar style. They also remind me of the Mutt 125’s. I’m not a fan of those. I don’t think they are built very well. But I don’t know enough about the BC125 to compare to one of these. Sorry.
@@deejaymanners yes it's a really nice bike, I enjoy it almost every day. I already got 4000km on the meter 🙂 I did top speed 119 km/h, on gps 110 km/h. Comfortable speed for this bike is 80-90. For that price this bike is awsome.
I was looking at this one back in the spring, but there was no release date back then, so bought the Bluroc Legend. Have to say, the dash on the Bluroc won it for me, (in the sea of Chinese retro style bikes) though kinda wished I went for something else instead because they cheaped out on everything else 😮 Not been out on it recently, Santa is bringing me winter gloves, but not only that, there's just no appeal in going out getting cold and wet 😂
I’m a big fan of what Benelli are doing. And would you believe Benelli and Keeway are linked. Owned by the same people. Their bikes are just getting better and better with every new model
@GillyBikes it must be affecting the sales of the bigger brands, I have a Honda monkey now, Actually regret selling my TNT. I will purchase another one when my son gets a bit bigger for two up riding🤣🤣
Half of this price you can get a tvs apache rtr 200 in india ,which comes with fi dual abs 200cc oil cooled 4 valave engine with 40-45 km per lit milage.cheers
Looks like it has ABS? Power & service intervals would be useful. Got to ask why send someone out in a zero mile example with no fuel is beyond me, hardly in the best state to test but hey-ho. Thanks for review.
It had 3 bars of fuel but they only came on when the engine started for some reason. And to be completely honest I broke my microphone shortly after taking the bike out so I didn’t do as much as I had planned. 🫣
China. But they do have loads of other companies that they own all over world. They are massive. I’m pretty sure they have Benelli and MBP on their books as well.
@@GillyBikes It’s for my wife but I will be commuting on it. These small bikes have such simplicity and charm. It’s a silver 2005 model with the round headlamp. She fancies the XSR125 in white maybe one day later on.
Only problem i see with these chinese bikes is that the spare parts needs to get shipped from china. So an easy repair (under waranty)might take you months before repair😢
At the end of the ownership experience, I bet that the initial money saved versus, say, a Honda, will be more than erased and that that bike will be ready for the scrap pile while that Honda is still bringing smiles.
That is also an option. I’m a big fan of saving money. There are lots of people out there though that love a brand new bike. Me included. Especially if you’re buying with finance. Usually get better deals on new bikes.
I had a sit on one at a dealership . I was impressed with the build quality ....AND A USB .....I would buy one of these 👍
Definitely worth the money. Keeway have improved so much over the last couple of years.
Thanks the x light review looks like a good option for getting through my licence journey.

Great to hear. I really like them. A nice looking bike. Which mirrors did you go for? I like the bar end one. I really like how they look.
What did you modify to have 15 hp?
Is it changed the mileage?
If yes, from what to what?
Also the top speed?

not any impact of the mileage btw
top speed is around 120kmh when the road is long enough;) 100kmh easily. Not sure about torque improvements tbh but max speed up to 10%

It’s about the same as most other 125’s out there. You should be fine, but to make sure go to a dealer that has one and sit on it. See how you feel.
