2014 F150 IWE Replacement (4wd vacuum hub)

  • If your F-150 sounds like it has an empty coke can dragging beside it, it's likely caused by a bad Integrated Wheel End, IWE. Ford uses a vacuum actuated hub to engage 4wd and in my opinion some of the parts are a little fragile so they'll need swapping after a while.

    Nice man I just replaced mine a couple days ago and it feels and sounds alot better. It use to make a growling noise when I drove and turns out the actuator was completely ripped off and was in two pieces when I took it out. The front drive side wheel was always spinning the cv axle it was really annoying and dangerous. Glad I fixed it saving me thousands in wear and tear of the transfer case.

    Hey I got the same leveling kit on the same year as well, do you have any popping noises in the front end turning ?

      What do you hear and how when you’re on 4x4 or just regularly? I have same year truck too ford raptor I have a problem with my wheel bearing system it could be that but I also have a problem with my 4x4 so for me it’s the iwe not working

      @@chicocheche4283 what ended up being the issue was bad ball joints and the bump stops weren’t greased and it made this loud squeak at full lock
