You could easily have shifted from 2nd to 4th, and stayed there and leave the gaspedal.. The torque could easily have done the pull for you. But okay, you demonstrated how NOT TO drive a dieselcar. • @kemdom
      @kemdom 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I've recently bought a used V60 D4 with the 6-speed manual.
      My reasons are simple:
      - the manual has a lower maintenance cost and is generally more reliable;
      - I mostly (75%) use it for motorway driving, where I use the 6th gear for 95% of the way;
      - The 8-speed "geartronic" auto is one of the worst programmed transmissions for dynamic driving (slow kickdown at overtaking, indecisive gear selection when pulling out at a junction, slow shifts even in manual mode)
      - I enjoy manually shifting gears :)
      If I was a city driver, and had to shift 80-140 times in stop-and-go downtown traffic during my commute, I would sure get the auto, but it just does not make sense for my travel situation. :)

      @@DerUngarischeKitsune it makes even more sense for long distance driving.
      You get up to highway speed, put it in 6th and you're done.
      I don't know where the original commenter got his ideas, but auto is really only useful for city driving, stop-and-go traffic - especially cause i can downshift quicker than the 8AT kickdown in the SPA Volvos. :D
