Y-pipe for the win. Y-pipe is pretty loud when getting on the gas and just right when cruising. The true duals is a bit too raspy
I want to get the cutouts for mines Lil CLAP lol video
I like the raspy sound
Agreed 100%
I have a herlmz resanator and it’s so quiet with the y pipe but when you get on it it sounds deeper and it pops it’s so nice it has no drone
The thing I love about this page is that they show every single detail and the sound clip. I bet you guys have helped so many decide and exhaust
I base all my exhaust decisions off this guys page cause he’s so thorough
Never been a fan of Tundra’s, but you guys made those two sound as badass as possible, great work as usual!!!
That Y-pipe is bad ass. I’m about to go get this installed on my Tundra! 😎
If you really think about it you’ll realize that the true duals hit 113 decibels having a second exhaust tip facing towards the decibel meter. The y-pipe straight pipe hit 112 decibels with the exhaust tip on the other side of the truck facing the other way! The y-pipe is definitely louder in my opinion! What do you guys think?
True duals without crossover pipe is like 2 smaller engines firing side by side. With x pipe i think it could be quiter because the pulses are further broken down into 2 exits.
Im not a Toyota fan but that first one sounds badass
Thanks you guys helped me pick my pipe! For my tundra doing an x cross to a super 10 3 inch 304 on my super charged 5.7 sounds diddly dope! Your videos helped!
Those Tundras are BAD AZZ trucks! And both trucks sounds good!
Always true dual these beats of trucks in my opinion
I have a DUAL setUP also if you're curious I have a video
Whats the price range on a true dual straight pipe
How much would y pipe setup and install cost on a 2012?
1st one sounds best. Could you imagine no cats need to hear that .
I gotcha
Now if we could figure out how to put a trimac 5-speed behind the Toyota engine with four-wheel drive that would be a good time
Fuck only if the didn’t discontinue the 5.7 I force we should have a turbo kit and other parts by now
I would say Y-pipe sounds better
V8 sounds so awesome.
Single y pipe doesn't sound bad my 07 I've got all oem cats y piped to a carven tr stock tail pipe cut tail pipe at the last hanger pretty much zero rasp clean sound minimal drone
The single outlet exhaust has a better tone. Both needs a quality muffler.
Sad troll
You need to stop trolling me
I made a video exposing you, stay mad #TrollFail
Willy must be out of Rehab...again!
The single honestly doesn’t sound that bad. The duals is too clappy for me. Theres another video of a tundra with duals that are axle dumped and it sounds perfect.
Will that 4.7 engine fit in a toyota hilux 3.0 d4d
Your probably one of the best muffler review channels I've found, I watched the avalanche one you guys did. Where are you all located at?

@@exhaustaddicts well that's a good ways away from Pennsylvania LOL thank you great videos
Y PIPE IS THE WINNER 🏆 with the most
Beautiful 😍 TUNDRA Musical Sound
That aftermarket bumper looks horrendous
Honestly
Totally agree
I straight piped my 07, no cats.. felt like i lost 40hp, and it didn’t sounds good, those ones sound better, maybe the cats make a difference
by removing cats, you lost torque in lower rpm range.
@@mjyoung5697 i resonators on it, fixed the problem.
Y pipe wins its cleaner sound , duals is distorted
That true dual setup is almost 5.0 Mustangy
What size inlet and outlet is the y pipe?
Bro that's a Japanese pickup truck in a sense and it sounds like an American muscle car holy hell
Well they are all made in Texas unlike all these other trucks. Don’t fall for a logo
Correction. Japanese company but a American truck. They dont even have these in Japan.
5.7 3uz is an exclusively American engine
I love my tundra I think I’m gonna go with the Y-pipe
2017 Teeyota Tundra...
Lmao. Teeyota 😂.
The Y pipe truck is more efficiently scavenging exhaust from both banks. Id never handicap my truck by separating the banks. If I had a weak gasser, of course.
I wish I could hear the 2017 at WOT.
is there any drone? i have the flowmaster outlaw exhaust and it is load and a lot of drone.
I love this channel
Where can we get that true dual I would like it on my 2013 tundra
Y pipe for sure
What year
Definitely duals
damnit...i wish i still lived in middle tenn. id def come see you....
Wheels make it look like a chevy keep it 17’s or 18’s
If it's catted, it's not straight piped...
People really think this crap sounds good it's like just cuz it's loud don't mean it sounds good.
sounds nasty but a little raspy for me
I love the merch but can't purchase it :(
Get off your butt & get a JOB!
@@BobSmith-mc7uq don't work you don't EAT
@@hemi5.7villain This is where they become "homeless/beggars".
Standing on the Interstate off ramp with a sign that says PLEASE HELP.
“TOY”ota not “TEE”yota. Horrible welds as usual again too.
That rasp sounds like smashed dog crap
Fuck me these exhausts look like a 5 year old made them with plastic straws
CAT DELETE WITH DUAL STRAIGHT PIPES !
Teeyota
Good bye low end torque
You get a proper TUNE he good
Why good bye?
@@aboodyalamrey2791 freeing up the flow in your exhaust moves the power up innthe rpm range. As villain stated, a good tune will help bring it back in.
Exhaust systems have a an optimal rpm they work best at and when you free them up that optimal point moves up...this is where the back pressure myth came from
@@ThorGPA thx for the new info
Well that’s illegal as all hell… at least in Pennsylvania
Raspy lol no it sounded like a fart
