  • Two more awesome lockpickers have reached milestones-‪@LockpickHI‬ and ‪@paulg413‬ . What follows are my entries.....the second one, with quite the mishap to get there.

Thanks. Always look at what you have, and you can probably come up with something!!😁

Jeff, great video, thanks so much, really nice to see the spoon tensioner, i've only just discovered re-purposing cutlery and as long as my wife doesn't miss the spoons I'm all good 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You can see why that clip remover caught my eye!! And this one can be done with spoon or fork handles...and don't forget that most thrift stores have cheap cutlery. Definitely cheaper than having to get out of the doghouse!!🤣

Great entrys fot both of them, Jeff! Love those profiles, his flat tips are very nice, i think youd like them! Great homemade spoon tensioner! Cool idea! Good luck in both draws!

When I get the chance, I'm definitely going to have to expand the Jimmy Long's collection with the flat tips for sure. I just so rarely purchase tools-and it's hard to catch his stuff anyways!

Hehe, I had one of those ML150s in my naughty bucket for a long time and I also brought it to a lockpicking meeting for someone to pick it. After one guy managed to pick it, I managed to pick it myself too 😁

lol, if only it were that easy! I watched him, asked him what his advice was, tried it....and nada. And that's been like 6 months or so ago. Key is fine, I've even combed it, but no SPP....yet.

@@jeffandthings77 Yeah comb picking was my "go to method" too. I learned that when the first time tensioning doesn't give me good results I should start over and not poke around for too long in the keyway as it will not help opening the lock. Hunting down the last binder was the problem, because I tend to set pins sometimes awkwardly and not fully. Hunting down that halfway set last pin is a real pain, because it invites oversets in other pins. Might as well start over and do it properly.

Make your own picks. Why wait for Jimy?

Oh its on my list, I just a) can't do handles like him b) take forever to even find TIME for making more picks....but next ones I do, I plan to emulate his profiles (at least, that's my hope/plan)
