Very nice plants and a wonderful, well-kept collection. If your plants are outside, you're going to have problems with one thing or the other - birds, squirrels, insects, fallen tree limbs, raccoons, and possums knocking over pots, kids next door playing and balls getting thrown into your plants, high winds during storms knocking over and breaking up plants. All kinds of random stuff can happen. I hope the raven was just passing through, and it's on to some other place living out other adventures, and it won't be back. Some say damage adds character to the plant - not me, I feel pain and disappointment every time an outdoor accident happens to one of my plants. With me, it rarely happens, but when it does, it's usually a prized plant. I have mostly Euphorbias outside, so if something bites into one, it gets a very bad taste. I have to keep my lithops indoors all the time. The first year I had them outside, the birds found them and ate 30% of my collection before I knew what was happening. Thanks for posting, I always enjoy your videos and watching the progress you're making with your collection.
Hi, Anna! This bird is a compliment: you have managed to recreate the natural environment with the majority of its components including the birds :) You don't have to fight against it.
I am so sorry to hear about the raven and your plants. I have a big fake owl that hangs in my tree near where my plants are. It has really helped keep the birds away. Your plants look really good though even with the little bites!
Fingers crossed! I know you had problems with rats before. And here I am dealing with birds. And I must admit this Raven has good taste for cactus. It knows to pick the expensive ones. 😣
My totem looks the same! I thought there was a mold problem. I’ve been having problems with birds picking at the succulents, but that’s usually in the summer. My pine cone cactus also has the same marks. Thanks for the information!
Cacti are so beautiful. I don't know how to get rid of the raven. Maybe if the dogs bark at it, it will leave. My cacti stay in the house. I removed a bunch of pups from my "fishhook" cactus, but she is covered again. I cant believe it. Some of my cacti and succulents have grown a lot this summer. One of my aloes is growing a little one too. 😊

Good luck with the raven. They are super smart. I feed crows in my yard and they don’t bother my cacti.
Very nice greenhouse and all your awesome cacti 🌵🌵🌵
All your plants look very beautiful God bless you and your family😊😊😊

No! Not the totem and fence post! Darn 🐦⬛! What is it with the pests in Vegas! Argh. Hope it moves away quickly. Great video!

Naughty bird lol. Awesome video as always, Ana 😊 Thank you for sharing with us. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜☕
Hahaha. If only it knew we have 3 grills in the backyard and we love a good roasted bird for dinner. 😎 🍗

That's a dinky little heater Ana 😎 Ravens are buggers, they have to have a look at everything 🙄 Looking good though 🙂🙂🌵🌵

Don't fight it. Make him your friend by placing snacks that he can enjoy. He/she will ignore your cacti. Give an update.
Hi ! How are the aloes you got from the guy from estrella suculentas ( Puerto Rico ) doing ? Mines are doing great
Please could tell me where you get the self for the succulents
Ravens can walk & Hop.....Crows don't Hop just walk. Can't tell for sure but from what I see I think it is a Crow.
