Some more lovely new additions, Ana 😊 Love that cholla. Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a lovely day and weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜☕
Hi Ana, two great new hauls of cacti, thanks for sharing! I love the Parodia rutilans and how it opened it's bud immediately the day after being unpacked, haha! I am a big fan of all Parodia / Notocactus, especially the red and purple-colored ones!
I'm so jealous! Where I live, caring for plants is not a popular hobby sadly so I don't really have a person with how I can mutually share plant cuttings with... 😢
AWESOME BOXES!!! Wow Ana!! I can't believe all those came out of that box!!! Does opuntia Santa Rita get too cold there? I know they sometimes get snow during a cold winter south of Tucson, but maybe not as cold as Las Vegas? Nice Echinopsis!!! I think the staghorn cholla is cylindropuntia imbricata. We can grow it here. Very cold hardy!!! Nice selection of ariocarpus!!! Cool that the parodia is in bud!! Great it kept its flowers!! Nice Astrophytums!!! Great second Box!!! Great seedlings!! Hahaha! Thanks for sharing Ana!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks out to las Vegas, have a wonderful week ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌻🌷🌴💐🌱🍀🌸🌳🪴🌹🌿🌾😃👍
You are going to love the color of the flowers on that O Santa Rita! People have planted them all over the place in my area (Tucson); the fluorescent yellow flowers against that purple pad is stunning. They do get pretty big though so keep an eye on it! I recently removed mine as after having it for about 30-years, it became a haven for packrats and white scale eventually took it over and choked it out (kinda normal down here). But, she had a great run! Good luck! Zk P.S. Mine got snowed on several times and never batted an eye at it... I think we got down into the mid teens for temps...
Oh wow, Miles 2 Go! I ordered from him years ago, got some beautiful specimens from him!!! _Dont worry, we're all addicted._ My wife told me "no more for a while." Little does she know ive got a new site to order from, and have already seen some plants ive been after that are in his inventory. Lmao!!! You better believe im gonna place an order next week. 😉
HI ana always a pleasure watching your videos. I was in Vegas last weekend, IT WAS HOTTTTTTTT but for some reason the heat was bearable. In LA when it gets hot like that it's nasty. have a good one!
Yep, it was hot last week, hot this week and hot in the coming weeks. 😄🥵 Cacti are really tough. But I’m not so I’m hibernating in an air conditioned house. 😝 I hope you had fun, though. 🎰
Hello, I bought 3 Echeveria. They have got soft and yellow leaf's. I didn't gave too much of water. I water them every 3 weeks. Can you write me what to do not to kill them. I repot them into a mix with cacty soil and a little of normal soil. Thank you Manuela
I have a question this is my first time growing cacti from seeds how long do I keep them on the heat mat and some are starting to sprout now - also I live in Chicago
Check out my How to Grow Cactus from Seed video. That one is a detailed tutorial. Heat mats can be used even for more mature seedlings. Heat makes them grow faster especially if you live in a cold climate area like Chicago during the winter. 🙂
Great video Ana! You must be so happy with all the great new cacti! The Ariocarpus were great size! Thanks so much for the shot out! Go Vegas! 🌵🌵🌵💚

I thought the buds were done blooming. But they opened for another day! I’m glad I got to see the flowers right away. ☺️

4:30 There's one called a Purple Staghorn. On a hike in Tucson, in the Sonoran Desert, they were everywhere and in bloom. Been wanting one since 😭😭😁

Wow! Those are great info. Thanks for sharing your experience on growing the O. Santa Rita. I can’t wait until mine gets bigger and flowers. 🙂

You need a knife to open your boxes…lol
lol! The struggle is real. 🤣

I had to move one of my Opuntias Ana, turned out water was coming up under the wall and making the roots too wet 😬🌵
Ooh, good thing you caught that problem in time.

Hello Manuela. I don’t keep Echeveria so I’m not the best at giving advice on their care. Sorry.
