In GoW 2018 Luck was so OP (even more so in NG+) that is made the gsme a joke on GMGOW. And guess what, Luck in Ragnarok is still as broken as ever
This build will definitely become incredibly better with New game plus. And having tested multiple “max stat” builds, this one is my favorite

@@apollo6449 luck increases the chances of… well that’ll depend on your equipment. But basically anything that only has a possibility to happen luck increases that possibility
This looks awesome. I was a sindri armor fan with high luck in 2018. And currently playing with max strength doesn't seem too powerful. This is right up my alley.
I like the look of this build, I think I'll try it on my next playthrough, I like that you can start putting this build together early in the game, and having a good reason to be constantly switching weapons could be a fun and different way of playing the game for me. I'm guessing he's playing on the highest difficulty, which is how I play it, so it must be pretty strong.
When they do introduce new game plus, they might also add some new items to increase the power of the builds we already have. And I am indeed playing on the highest difficulty but The incoming video against GNA is a better showcase of this build since enemies do not scale with your level in the muspelheim trials

Pretty cool build, I've been rocking the Lunda set with stun enhancing and status punishing equipment. Not as flashy but it pretty much stun spams and nerfs any boss.

Time stop build is definitely most OP. Became the god of time and everything stops and can’t fight back.
I accidentally started this build without the armor pieces and have my luck bar half full. In a moment I should have died I got an r3 prompt and won. I died five times at the librarian, but beat Heimdall the first try. Easily.

I like the fact that stun grabs give you I-Frames because one particular dragon was very annoying to deal with 🙃
But the only thing I would add to the build is a chance to survive a killing blow 🤔

@Djisso I had trouble with that dick on dragon Beach that you have to wake with the music heirloom. And for some reason omstunga kept killing me. Like 7 times and then I no hit the idiot. It was a weird little fight. I guess dragon beach is just rough so the way around

A good reason to use wrath with this build is because you don't have many tools to generate rage fast and wrath requires the smallest amount of rage

My luck is only about 1/3rd ot that but I went a luck/strength/ defence build and I've had zero issues so far in deff going to tweak it a bit further

I used and upgraded his survival amour as upgrades all his stats. Just add amulets and runic’s and other stuff. Doesn’t have any special abilities. But buffs all. Also luna armour good to and beseker. But all stats close to 200 and strength 395 and Defense 365, Like balanced build but other amour class luna one, beserker, dragon one to not done yet still finishing muspelheim and besekers and Gna. Luck seems to be big think will work adding more. Still best armour for me is the survival first one. I want to swap parts and use deferent ones.

hey djisso have you played killer is dead? I finished it just finished it some time ago tonight
I be basic running the berserker set. Use nine realms pommel on both blades and axe, and have momentum enhancements on most abilities. I put the enchantments that increase the momentum rate and also the one that boosts melee dmg in realm shifts. Also the boon of valor. So really I build up frost on the axe, once it’s full I wait for a time to parry using valor, then activate the hilt of skofnung, then my L1* triangle…. The damage is NASTY. Plus it’s a realm shift so I don’t really worry about getting hit. Beat gna EZ
I actually purposely excluded the Berserker Chest Armor from every build I made so far because it steals the show. Whether it is a Realm Shift or poison build, it eventually ends up being a Berserker set showcase. But if you were to ask me, those other builds are more fun to play with

I don’t have the svartalfheim enchantment yet and i think i got everything else but i am missing like 6 cooldown to use the storm enchantment. Anyone know how to fix that?

Anyone struggling with Gna, I played on mercy. Use enchancents that increase permafrost charge and decrease from attacks. Add spear or and axe real shift trigger when full L1 & triangle. Armour I used was poison build up chest from parries etc, berserker waist & arms. Also realm shift relic. I used many real shift and normal axe attacks she was done for in no time, after many hours of agony lol
gotta remember her moments to parry, parry more than dodge honestly but try to work on single side step dodges bc that will increase your ability to react like second nature for unblock-able attacks. When she strafes to the left of the screen to charge directly straight at you, shield block or parry (it’s a 0.01% chance you can dodge that, you just can’t because of wings) and then if she decides to strafe RIGHT, she’s going to charge faster and directly with an unblock-able lunge that will rock you, so side step to the right. The rest is easier to figure out after you can telegraph those moves I described, pretty ez from there
Hrolf was a lot slower but hit harder so you needed more patience than here whereas GNA is on your butt and you have to be up to pace with her.
my first and still current play through is GMGOW so I struggled for awhile lol.
I think the Realm shift or stun build are great against Gna though
She can hit like a truck and kill you instantly depending on the mistake you made. But at least you can tank a lot of hits with the full Stun Build
LUCK IS THE BEST WAY TO GOOOOO!
New Game+ really buffed this build - you can swap the armor choice here for something else now since you can get the guiding light benefit on your amulet. There's also lots of other amulet benefits you can get that have strong luck procs. Really fun playstyle for new game+

I have all the items and gear in the video, but for some reason my stats are lower. I've collected all of the tree dews as well. Everything is upgraded to the max. With 166 runic I am unable to use the seal of runic storm since you need 170. Did they lower the stats after a patch?
I don’t think they patched anything but some other people have reported the same issue so I am starting to wonder If there might be a bug

@@Djisso You have to complete the Across the Realms favor. That gives an increase of 5 points to all stats
In GoW 2018 If you use defense and luck combined it will be So powerful Maybe in ragnarok so powerful that you cant even die because your defense and luck right? Also the new game plus for god of war ragnarok is coming in july so be patient

greetings. can you tell me the stat caps? is it usefull to putt more points in stats after the bar is full? luck bar is full at 350... but you have 426.
I experimented with the Full defense/stun build and noticed that though they may be a soft cap with the incoming damage, the enchantment sets seem to not follow the same logic
When it comes to this build in particular, you don’t need to max out the luck. How often you get the buffs is rather random even if it is favored by having that much luck. But The vanaheim set for example will scale alongside your luck. And that’s why having over 400 luck becomes relevant, you will deal a lot of damage to status afflicted enemies
The real Max luck build goes all the way to 465 I think. But I figured I would rather Benefit from one realm set bonuses than just maxing out my luck

I made another build with the hunter armour set and strength heavy weapon attachments that make the r1 charged attack with the spear one tap enemies
I actually tried to go full Hunter set and defeated GNA using only ranged attacks. That Charged R1 is no joke
I kill the bifrost berserk spaming that r1 charged attack
11 months later and I spam realm shift with this build to beat gna
Starter armor is best for me. Moderated stats for everything. Perfectly balanced

How'd you get enough upgrade materials to fully upgrade every armor set? I'm done with the game and didn't even get enough to finish one set, let alone all of them. I'd love to know about a farming spot or something
Depending on what you want to farm, you will get to different locations
Normally, the Muspelheim trials should be enough to give you most of the ressources you need (Luminous Alloy, Petrified Bones, Asgardian Ingot…). There is also that one crater in Vanaheim where you can exchange your crystals
Use one enchantment from every realm and get the secret The 9 realms buff! Use the enchantment with the most luck for each realm. I think hellheim enchantments have no luck, but it's the only realm like that, just use the strongest hellheim enchantment.
I don’t know if you played New Game plus yet but there is a new Nine Realms Buff. You will need to defeat every berserker and equip each of the enchantments they dropped. The new version of the buff allows you to trigger it anytime you go in rage which is so much better than relying on rng
Am i the only person who knows that the base armour with max level is the best armour in the game because it literally has every stat in the game on it and it has more of each stat than most other armours
Personally I find the armor with 70% Cd on any runic attacks better, with higher luck, and also with the Rond of Cooldown on Parry, can almost spawn Spirit blades 4/5 rounds in the Boss trial lol.
Thing is, having used that chest armor in particular, it isn’t super reliable when using relics. If You are lucky, then you could almost summon the spirit blades 4-5 times like you mentioned. But because you could end up not being lucky (happened a lot to me), then it is possible than it turns into a normal fight. That’s why I opted for the guiding light set, because even if you don’t have your relic ready to go, switching between weapons remains fun and rewarding
I ended up using the Swords 4 times against Gna and it remained consistent because of the way the build works, you get lucky all the time

Oh Yeah, you will be able to yield the same result. The big difference is that you lose the multi hits stagger, the cooldown on successful hits and the damage dealt by the Swords

You need to fully upgrade the armor (so level 9), and you'll be able to edit the appearance

The luck meter ? If you are referring to the Luck Stat, equipping various armor set or other gear pieces will increase that Stat. You just want to pay attention to which gear increases your luck more and the benefits you get from it

@@Djisso the muspelheim is a literal cheat code. You can get 200k hack silver by just doing the last challenge on the big sword which is just a 1v1 against the same enemies. With this build(lucky build) you can just melt enemies health. And without worrying about crowd control, it's an easy 200k silver.

You could just swap the sword and use the realm shift relic. But since the king tends to run away often, Using a stun build will yield more results

Thats a knob you have to craft at the shop. Just scroll all the way down and you should be able to find it

You have some side quests which reward you with permanently increasing your stats by a certain amount. I am guessing those are the points you are missing 🤔

I put all the armor and enchantments in properly and I already finished the game and upgraded everything and got all the Yggdrasil dew but yet your stats are all higher than mine why is that?
There is a side quest where you get The “Meal of comfort” which increases every stat by 5. And there are also some items (tree dew) that you can collect while exploring. They increase a specific stat by 2. I am guessing you are missing some of those

Poison build is the best in my opinion
I think the luck build could go toe to toe against the poison build though. Activating your Relic (Hilt of Skofnung) 4-5 times against GNA is quite broken and silly

my stats are lower too. i have 166 runic lower defense and strength. i habe all the ygrddrasil dweds and all my stuff to lv 9
At this point I think this might be a bug. Just like some people reported getting less Hacksilvers after completing the exact same trials

Equip the Hilt of Skofnung. Then it's L1 and the O button.

Have tested to see if the stats keep improving once you have filled the stat bar? In 2018 once you had 150 luck and filled the stat bar any higher luck would be pointless and not actually increase your luck.
Well firstly we didn’t have enchantments which would utilize said luck stat for damage (in this case The Vanaheim Set). And secondly I did the rond of the nine realm with Lunda’s set which would give you over 250 luck and the realm shift would trigger once in a while and that’s it. But with my luck being significantly higher (let’s say 350+), It felt like out of 10 Parries 6-5 could trigger a realm shift, which is a massive improvement

I like using luck so I can upgrade my weapons faster but after that I stop using it
I stopped using it because I didn’t have the proper tools to take advantage of a build or maxed out all of my gear
But new game plus now confirmed, I kinda wish we had a way to save multiple presets to quickly access our builds, given the fact that we have so much more builds now
How is the axe here compared to the last game?
It's better really. You have the ability to activate frost awakening before attacks now which is great, then you have a meter called glacial permafrost and once it is full you can activate it and the axe becomes godly for a few seconds. You fill the gauge by hitting enemies without taking damage. Similar to first game in almost all ways but better because of these things
I use it as a status build up weapon or throwing weapon when I have a good enchantment (poison or lightning) on the spear. I wish glaive storm was in ragnarok. My build is status build up with axe, momentum with blades, and damage/cd reset with spear. I have L1 + triangle up 90% of the time.

Oh I think you could get the Guiding light Set as soon as you have access to Midgard. But To be able to level up that gear all the way to 9, you need to finish the main story first
