For the 2023 yoga boot cut ‘magic’ pants, what size are you two wearing? I wear work pants in size 12/14, but yoga pants and leggings between medium and XL (perfect for fast pull on, loose around my waist). I like my pants loose-fitting, but not floppy - in other words, appropriate to wear to work. Thx!! 🌷
I purchased the Spanx pants. They don't have pockets .... and, they were very long. I'm 5'6'' and the hems went down to my toes. I haven't worn them again. Until I get the professionally hemmed, I don't want to wear them. (Oh, so add $ 30 of alteration fees to the original price of $200 and the Spanx pants become very expensive for my budget.)
I am handicapped so I always wear stretchy pants. Black goes with everything in my opinion. :) I get mine from Walmart-the Athletic brand, the Time and Tru brand or the Terra and Sky brand. I buy the cheaper brands because I am in the process of losing weight and do not want to pay top dollar for pants yet. These brands all fit well, have pockets, and do not stretch out of shape. Those of you who do not want to spend too much might like them. Thanks for this video-I think I will add these pants to my wardrobe.
Thanks Genx, these trousers are so much better than I thought they'd be. I'm 70 this year so I fit in the 'and beyond' category ;). They are definitely the best trousers I've ever bought for flights. They cost £37.69 in the UK and worth every penny.
@@urbandoggs The only inseam available was 29 on Amazon and that is way too long for me! LOL! I'm only 5 feet tall with a 25" to 26" inseam and I really didn't feel like shortening another pair of pants! I think if you are 5'3" the 29 length would be just right for you. The only place I can find pants around my length is Macy's (on-line) in the petite section. Otherwise, I'm swimming in clothing!
Hello Gypsy! I have to say, I absolutely LOVE your videos. They are not only super helpful but also, you are so fun to watch. Your energy, attitude, and smile are contagious! :D I'm getting these pants! One teensy comment I would make is that. as a former DVT patient, my doctor told me that any clothing (except compression socks) are a no no on planes as they restrict blood flow, elevating the risk for DVT (whether you've had one or not). No planes, no worries! Thanks again!
I like the way flared pants fit and flatter the figure… but for travel days, I find joggers best. They keep to the ankles and do not get to the floor of public (esp airplane) toilets. Uniqlo has a variety of jogger styles that can also be dressed up or down. And quite reasonably priced but can last forever.
I like joggers too, but have had a bit of an issue finding a pair that I really like the way they fit. I'll check out the Uniglo brand, thanks for the suggestion 😊
Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one thinking about this issue. I definitely do not want my pants dragging on the floor of public restrooms, grooosss! Even though skinny leg pants are not in style I would only travel in them, or as you mentioned joggers are an option.
Yeahhhh Someone who shops where I shop. I too keep items for years. I also buy multiples of the same item if I like them really well. Thank you very much
I have grey spanx cargo pants, and they are so heavy and uncomfortable, so I just ordered these in black. I travel internationally all the time, and always looking for something comfortable and stylish. Great video!
I have a pair of black travel pants from the brand Lilly Pulitzer and never leave home without them. They look as good with heels as they do with white sneakers!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS RECOMMENDATION!! I will admit I was skeptical, but I ordered one pair of these and was so happy with them I ordered 3 more. Wore them at a writing conference - lot of sitting, lot of walking - and they not only felt great but looked great all day! So thanks again for this recommendation. they are great!
I have RBX yoga patns with pockets similar to these and yes, I wear them a lot. i wear mine with a sleeveless turtleneck, and it can go from casual to very dressy.
Despite being 7.5" tall, the longest pant I can wear is 28" the rest bundle around my ankles, so I pick short length. I look proportionate, but can't wear those long pants. Didn't see any my length. Great show by the way, TY for sharing.
I have the Spanx pants and love them BUT Old Navy does great dupes for several of their pants. For the amount of money you can save, Old Navy all the way.

I’m going on a trip soon and will definitely wear my magic pants on the flight. Can’t say enough great things about these pants!
I just bought the Spanx pants not too long ago, and honestly, I don’t see myself wearing them much. The upper thigh and booty part are too tight, too revealing, and just don’t look very sophisticated. Spanx has a very generous return policy, so I may even return them. They’re very comfortable and versatile, but they just don’t look appropriate from behind. You can see every crease, curve, and crevice. I should say that I am no prude, either, but I would never wear these to work or church.
@@allysonmccormack5529Yes, Betabrand has office dress pant looking, comfy like yoga pants. Also denim and other stuff. Their pockets are usually deep. They've had some shipping delays for a bit but they seem to be getting it figured out now.

Found a similar pair of "spanx like" pants at my local TJMaxx in a size too small for me--I was crushed! My airplane issue is this. Long haul (13 hr) flight to Japan in July. I love to wear leggings on the plane. However, when we arrive it will be incredibly hot and humid. We will have to travel around an hour to our hotel. Plus, everything I’ve read says that it’s immodest in Japan to wear leggings. To them, it’s like wearing your underwear in public. Any ideas?
