This was such a great video! I didn't even know there was hot peel DTF but was about to place an order some someone and realized it said hot peel so I almost changed my mind. Thanks for helping me understand this process better!
I would just like to say I enjoy your videos but I just wanted to say it is possible to dtf stuff that is 1 pixel in size I have done stuff really small I just don't know if it will work on hot peel I use matte warm peel
Hi! We need all floating parts if the design to be at least 0.029” wide, but I’m curious about 1 pixel wide lines within the image itself. Send me your artwork and we’ll do a test print for you. quotes@merchstudio.co
@merchstudio I wanted to send a pic of some of the vary fine artwork I have done but it does not let me add pictures here tell me where to send you pictures of some of the really fine work I have done all my stuff was done on a epson p5000 I have converted to dtf so it is a dx6 printhead I don't know if this makes a difference I have ordered a new dtf printer from alibaba it should get here by next mouth it not the same brand as yours but it 24 in 2 head i3200 printer by kingjet so I will tell you soon if I'm able to produce the same quality on that printer I've also bought a new uv dtf printer from the same supplier so I can expand my business to hard surfaces and do cups and other things for my same customers
Hello, can you use an 8 in one heat pressing machine to transfer to like caps, mugs, cups, plate, etc.? Gonna order my first DTF XP600 single head with powder shaker machine probably today.
@merchstudio Appreciate the response, every time I search 8 in1 heat press for dtf, only sublimation would come up. This will be my very first printer for merchandise. Also ordered my self a Wall/ ground printer, really like what it does.
Ko musta. I have been doing sublimation for 3 years and started print on demand in 2018. But been doing that off and on back in high school. I would like to get into dtf however I am unable to find a reliable affordable business nearby to do print transfers we need. We do not have much room in the house. What is your recommendation for dtf printer that is budget and space friendly?
it depends on your demand. I suggest starting small and outsourcing production until you have the space for a printer with Epson wide format printheads like the i3200. Not hating on the converted printers. It works for some people, but I hear they require more troubleshooting and only print very slowly.
Thank you. I had thought about outsourcing but I haven’t really found anything close to my area that isn’t gonna cost me min of $5 a sft. I wouldn’t want to convert one myself. I don’t know if you had any good feedback from others on the prestige a3+r from aaprintsupply. That’s the one I was thinking about. When we was doing our sublimation tshirts we were doing about 250-300 orders/month Thank you po for your time.
Hot peel seems like the way to go. I don’t know why anyone would want to spend the extra time of cold peel. We’ve tried a couple of films like Chemica and STS which are supposed to be hot or cold peel but the hot doesn’t work. Wherever I start peeling from, the print lifts off the shirt.

My pleasure!!
Hot peel is amazing I printed and pressed a bunch of your sample artwork and they all look feel and washed amazing. Keep up the good work
Glad you like it, Vlad!
Love TULTEX! And haha at the little detail that stuck. Great content!
I just stumbled upon your videos, I really learned a lot of stuff. For DTF, you don't need to pre-press the shirts before applying the print?
Not needed but highly recommended to remove moisture from the shirt
Is the post press same temp and pressure ?
Yes, it is
Ka tahom! Ka polido nga pag obra!

Does that temp apply to clamshell heat press as well?
Hi! Yes, it does!

Definitely! In fact, that was my starter press! Just know that you might wuickly outgrow the 15 x 15 platen

What transfer film did you use ?
Yes this! What film!
we formulated our own with a whole bunch of trial and error until we got the right combo of absorptive and release chemicals
@@merchstudio well dam that sounds like a lot lol
@@DollaBillz215 yup. lotsa frustration trying to play around with the ratios and I hope it's worth it in the end and people like it. 🙂🙂🙂
@Merch Studio came out great
What type of ink and film do you use
I started with DTF Superstore consumables, but we now have proprietary film and powder. We still use DTF Superstore Inks, though.

Try peeling sideways instead of up using one fast, confident movement
what machine is that
Doesn't it need more heat?
Nope!
what happens if hot peel is peeled cold
It should still peel ok
Dope
Quite a shoe collection!
Thanks, Mike!
We love the new hot peel! ❤🔥🤘😎🤘
@@texaradodesigns Glad he brought this to Merch Studio
