I have a different soldering iron from sequre, and it's been great. I'm glad that a super cheap temperature controlled temperature soldering iron is on the market.

Ah Ha- a professional geek! That is why all this electronic stuff seems to come so easy for you, explained. Always wondered about that. The only thing bad about the pen type irons is the vinyl covered cord. Ripped the power pin right out of my TS100 this summer because of the sorry cheap excuse for a power cord. Finally found in stock a fiber wrapped cord from Pyrodrone, but have been playing catch up for the Boss far too much to test it out, but it is far more flexible than the supplied (if you even get one) that are available. Love the clear case! Cheers

How do the tips make contact for the temp sensor? Looks like only 2 main power contacts and a ground.. any idea how that’s working?

Did you try Pinecil from Pine64? It is much cheaper, but has very good quality, also has power from usb (both QC and PD). But t12 tips support is interesting, I admit it

I wanted a clear case for my ts100 and then they stopped selling them so definitely going to get 1 of these i need a replacement anyway as I over voltage my ts100

      what's overvolt? I run my TS100 on 6S and it rocks...less than 10 secs to 400

@@Fly_High_FPV yes but when you forget the soldering iron is still connected and you crank up the power supply to 40 volts this it does not like very much try it and see

I'm not a fan of them myself. I know a lot of pilots like them but I prefer the clearness and convenience of a Lipo powered tool for the field.. Happy flying
