Nice one! WHen I commented on your MSS12 review earlier, I didn't realise you had reviewed the Pro version too! Thanks for that!

I bought this on September. Really good and I always recommend it for my friends.

I have a TS100 and recently just used the PineCil, and there was a huge difference in performance. And on top of that its cheaper and can just be powered with a type C PD battery bank. It really is the best option for a travel soldering iron

The pinecil is amazing! Worth every penny.

Love all the power input options. At the moment my TS100 is still going strong but if that fails one day, this looks like a tempting replacement.

Great review. I've been using my Weller for about 10 yrs building quads and electric skateboards, etc and a couple yrs ago i said that if my weller breaks, i'm gonna buy a Sequre, but, my weller just keeps on working. Weller soldering stations are great, they never die. 😎

Still have my original ts100 from Miniware. I know we buy cloned stuff all the time in our hobby, but I make an exception for some brands, and Miniware is one of them.

My trusty old Antex is starting to develop problems; I think either the cable might have a small break in it or the heating element is on it's way out, and this looks like an ideal replacement.
    Thanks for the video!

Pinecil is really good for travel and actually replaces a decent soldering station.

Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Hi really nice demonstration of the new soldiering station . I might be interested in purchasing one can you let me know how is the performance and the response time on bigger joints on maintaining the Heat. I still have my Hakko Fx888d. It's a very good station but sometimes it struggles at maintaining the heat at larger joints and I know that the T12 tips are a lot better at response I have not tried them yet to have a compare between the two.

I've not used the iron you mention but this seems to do OK with larger joints. You do need to use a bigger tip.... Happy flying

I assume the power is ~65W like most of the other irons that use T12/T15 tips? Product page doesn’t seem to say.

Whats the Power of the System (W) , it seems i can't find any information on this. For me this one of important technical spec for a solder iron.

I have access to the same sources as you. What I can tell you is that the heat-up time is fast and it seems to cope well with larger jobs that conduct a lot of the heat away (see other comments). Best of luck!

Pulled the trigger and ordered one with all the tips. Shame about the $10 shipping. They ought to have given you a referral link!

I prefer it but performance is similar..
