    Just like that she's off to a good home.
    You guessed the horses pretty close,
    The basemap dyno'd at 257 whp and 270 wtq
    Custom tune put it at 290 whp and 306 wtq

    • @asianken9286
      @asianken9286 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the 257whp you saw was the regular OTS tune for the stock turbo, but with the w1 turbo drop in instead. The base maps specifically for the w1 on the si’s are more optimized for the specific w1 turbo. civic x forums on Ktuner thread had dyno tested two different cars with totally different mods on the w1 turbo with the basemaps. One came out as 293whp on 93 oct and the other around 275whp on 93 oct I believe. So since Chris has almost FBO he should be in the 275 whp range. But someone could possibly prove me wrong 🤷‍♂️

      You’ll be ok. Just keep the torque in check. I feel like stock turbo with ethanol which will make around the same power as this w1 on pump gas is more likely to blow the engine since the stock turbo has the torque and power come at a much earlier rpm
