Dude's DEFINITELY been running slicks, otherwise he wouldn't have those extended studs. I have those extended studs on my 709 whp EJ8 Civic coupe with a fully built LSVTEC turbo to fit my 13" Lensos and my M/T slicks.
Wow ultimate goals I just bought a 2017 Honda Civic SI last week and I can’t wait to start modding it.

A well built car should still be able to push well past 130k, my hawkeye wrx is going strong at 180k at 390whp 18psi as my daily for 3 years

I did the same. Bought a new k20c1 bare short block only to have Dan Benson install wet Darton H22 sleeves as well as balance a new crank with Weisco Boostline rods and JE Ultra pistons with standard size ACL race rod and main bearings.

@@ValkenDnB We love our friends at VCD but this isn’t the car they worked on. This ones home garage built for the most part and a lot of time at P2Fab.
Great advice to check the crank for tolerances, because it would tell you if it was out of alignment, because you're going to use new rod bearings it's not such a concern to check each rod tolerance, saving supplies for the next crank, good tips, thank you. Subbed!

I am always observing the cars around me while I am working, and I rarely see the new Si. We have a few older Si's in the area but other than that the Civic Sport is the most common car next to the standard Civic. Then there's two Type R's that I see from time to time. Other than that I see MK7, MK6, and MK5 GTI's all the time with the occasional MK4 and Golf R. And a TON of Subaru's seeing as it is New England.
Legitimately was at an intersection at work on Friday 3/4 had a GTI. Kinda crazy cause in 2014 when I got my MK6 I saw them around but they weren't crazy common, and now with my MK7 I just see them all the time. Really didn't surprise me when VW decided to pull the Golf but keep the GTI and R.
I wish the, so far, first 4 minutes wasn't just annoying TH-camr bullshit. Get on with it already.

This is a build has been holding it own for the 10th gen platform including FK8.
I see the redline has been increased to 7500. I understand this motor's had a lot of work done to it, and it wouldn't really make sense to on a stock motor, but how high would you say you could set that on the stock motor without blowing it up?

So the big question is... what’s controlling the port injectors? It looked like you’re running a second fuel system like a methanol injection setup for fuel delivery.
Split Second. There’s a clip in the video that shows it. Secondary injectors with a direct port nitrous set up for some extra fun. Thanks for watching
@@thefoatmedia I knew it! Ford eco boost guys have been using split second while retaining the use of a stock ecu flash tuner like Cobb
@Sergio yep. It’s just majority of the 10th gen community seem to think the only way for aux fuel is to ditch the stock ecu with motec to be able to control it. For some reason not a lot of the 10th gen guys even know you can still use the stock ecu with flashpro or ktuner and have the aux fuel controlled by a secondary device like split second
