As you say, a banger! The dislikes pale in comparison to the likes. I already have two watches with the PT 5000 movement and they both perform very well. As for the quick release bracelet, well, wow!

Nice review, well balanced, thumbs up given. I own the white and I'm looking at the blue for the future. I thought about the black, but like you I have grown a little tired of faux patina lume. The practice of sending the buyer preview photos and timegrapher shots is one long used by almost all the Chinese replica watch industry .... Makes you wonder if it's just an old habit Proxima hasn't broken yet after becoming a reputable budget watch producer.

I had no idea other brands did that. I’m pretty new to the Chinese watch brands and this was a first time for me. I guess once the company grows, they have less time to message every buyer. I don’t know…

Overall a very handsome Watch design .
I too , wish this “ Faux-Tina “ trend would fade into obscurity .
But the demand must still be strong enough to warrant its use on the Black Dial version .
The Steel Bracelet is quite well accomplished .
A nice Value added proposition in this case .

Totally agree with comments about the mismatched font date wheel which is a total deal breaker for me.

My main gripe with this watch is the mismatched font on the date wheel. It's the main thing holding me back from buying it. They need to either fix that, or come out with a no date model. I also agree with you about the blue AR. If every AliExpress company could have clear AR crystals as good as Baltany's, I'd be a happy camper! Otherwise I love it! The CW case is amazing!
It’s funny because when I saw that PT5000 movement came with that font on the date wheel, I also didn’t like it. But, I actually completely forgot about the font when I received the watch. You just reminded me of it hehe

There is a no date version in white but with different hands and indecies
had they gone with white indicies instead of the fauxtina, the white date wheel would've blended in much better. Shame.

The bracelet is only down point for me
That blue AR is a deal breaker. I have only one piece in my entire collection of about 14 pieces that has a blue AR coating like that and it is also on a domed box crystal and has that constant blue ring around it. That watch is a Gekota Forzo. Companies have to get on board with optical-grade (clear) AR coating! I think this watch would look good on a leather strap, as a black and gold (pvd case + gilt dial) treatment.
While this watch is a blatant knockoff of the Christopher Ward Aquitaine, in my opinion it is an improvement. The bulgy CW sapphire bezel is too wide for the size of the dial: the Proxima gets the proportions right. Also, it costs less than half the CWQ watch with the same movement.
Very nice watch but reminds me almost of a 1 for 1 copy of the Christopher Ward Trident C65.
The dial markers are different from the c65, but otherwise it’s the same

Never again a Proxima watch, it's garbage, the lume doesn't last more than an hour, PT 5000 garbage, every morning when I wake up I have to wind it because it stopped, the brushing on the bezel and the bracelet is good but it has some sharpe edges and the claps feel cheap.
I have the blue one.
I feel cheated by the purchase :( :( :(
I don't recommend anyone buy one.
