      The following night, him claiming Hogan was as quick as a cat and pulling off "catch as catch can" technical skills was also funny. Killed the feud dead but to HBK, he was probably done with working with Hogan and would rather do that than try and get that win back.

    Not only was Little Hercules in 3D low budget as hell, it was capitalizing off of child abuse. The actual Star of the film was Kid Bodybuilder Richard Sandrak. Sandrak worked the bodybuilding, talk show and novelty circuit for years because he was extremely ripped and muscular for his single digit-preteen years. This incredible physique was the result of his father making him do nothing but work out all day at a dangerous level, eat ridiciously clean, and it's been all but confirmed he was fed steroids. Remember Sandrak was a literal child during all this. Sandrak's father eventually lost custody of him in a divorce. Sandrak ended becoming a normal looking (but short) guy when no longer forced to overtrain and without his "supplements".
    So yeah, Not only was this movie made on a shoestring budget. It was a vehicle for a drugged up kid with terrible stage parents.

    - Got rid of the iconic Six sided ring
    - Got Easy E hired into TNA
    - Hired Budda the love sponge and the Nasty boys
    - Convince the higher ups at Spike to start the second coming of the Monday night war.
    - Got his Daughter Brooke hired despite not having wrestling or acting experience.

    • @thehorrorhound6575
      @thehorrorhound6575 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Everything you said except the Monday night war thing is spot on. But if you actually look at the ratings of TNA when they went head to head with Monday night raw in 2009 they actually managed more often than not to stay above 1 million viewers a week (back when that was huge) while raw was around the 3 or 4 million mark (now raw can barely stay above 1 mill) so by the time spike decided to stop the experiment they declared it a success and said it only proved the marketing potential and the power of TNA and their roster and once TNA was put back on Thursdays they jumped back to the at or around 2 mill a week they were getting beforehand.
      Unfortunately Dixie hiring Russo under the table when told not to got spike so angry they cut the show in 2013 but it was like WCW and AOL “but we’re you’re highest rated show” “we will get more shows” did they? Not really. Once spike gave up TNA and lost UFC they fell off the map too.

    Season two was so terrible and awesome all at the same time. This was a fun blast from the past! Just threw an edit in here -- they let Nick pursue that racing career after showing he wanted to speed and race cars fast. I also thought back in the day when Hulk played with the monkey that it was adorable. Like a lot of season 2 was just advertisements for specific things (his friend's restaurant, the place where they got the monkey, etc). Otherwise, the Hogans didn't have enough personality to have a show as they were.
    I felt bad for Brooke - I remember they did a spin-off with her and Hulk came out to see her and she seemed to be trying to find her way.

    I like how when Hulk finds out about the birth control pills he marches down to the house like it's the WrestleMania 9 ring and he going to rob Yokozuna for the WWF Championship, but what makes it even more funnier is his reaction to his wife and daughter trying to explain it is normal to him and he doesn't buy it like Vince Russo trying to put over the wcw talent on him.

    thank you brian! I always say this about hogan, he was a key figure in the sport we love. And also he is indeed entertaining. As a wrestler that is, nobody is perfect and this doesnt excuse what hes done behind the curtain but people could say that about micheals too but nobody seems to give him the same treatment. I think hogan didnt redeem himself as shawn did, yeah, but i feel like karma got him hard for what he did and he suffered quite a lot, i think he is a good example for two sides of the coin.
