I love this video, but this is what happens when someone who knows nothing about trains, specifically locomotive parts, does a video on lego train mocs. I love it and it's quite funny. xD
The daylight isn't just inspired by old and modern trains. It's real, and quite a famous engine here in the US, you know. Also, the words on locomotives aren't their names, it's the railroad company that they're used by. That company probably has 10s, maybe 100s of completely different engines, so the engine #s are helpful to be specific.
I follow jangbricks on youtube (really recommend) and his diesel-electric train is my favorite one ever! I'll make a train based of of that one. But what I wanted to say is that jangbricks updated the train and the white stripe looks waaaay better now and he made a second one to attatch backwards to the back of the first, it looks really god damn cool!
I don’t want to sound nitpicky, but I felt personally attacked when he said ‘atmark’ and when he called the Erie a ‘Batman train’ otherwise a great video
I wish lego would make more lego trains they have so much potential and they just sweep them under the rug all the time only giving us 1 one passenger train and freight train every year
For all of you hating on this guy for not having much knowledge about trains, chill! If you were doing this kind of video but with boats you wouldn't always know what to call each section you like.
the only reason we are "hating" on this guy is because if you dot know much about the topic in your video you are at risk of bad commentary like in this video.

3:35 you have Texas State Railroad 500. It's a moc made by Anthony Sava. However, he's made more Texas State engines than just 500. Don't mean to be rude, but when you say Texas state, you may want to be more specific, as that can be taken as a fleet of about 10 engines.
Forget everyone saying how he said Amtrak wrong. It just makes it sounds more LEGO, because LEGO is not one to copy a brand, thus, Atmark sounds like a passenger LEGO line.

You can actually build that yourself just go to Sava Railway and you will find it (have to order the bricks yourself but it isn't that hard

No its a Dash-8 specifically built for Amtrak
