MuskokaJerry is looking pretty good (stylish) riding that sled this year. The years past show how much better he’s gotten. Need to put an insta360 on him for a (celebrity cam)
Idk about Matt’s dad but I know a lot of older guys that aren’t the biggest fan of cameras. Not sure about Matt’s dad as I said, he seems pretty chill with it.
my daughter has been asking where the Jerry's have been at. I get to tell her that they showed up, now that I am finally getting to this video 24 hours later. Which also means I'm gonna get to watch this video more than once cause she will want to see it too. Keep it up Matt!!!

@@208SledHeaddeflecting immediately seems like the same type of mentality that TDS people have. Perhaps you should acknowledge Polaris’s issues rather than turning a blind eye and blaming other manufacturers?
They all have issues unfortunately. Last year the gen 5's were having major issues with ratcheting, chain cases exploding, and even fires. They all kinda suck lol
Just seen a cool a picture from BRP , nice picture of Matt and Carl Kuster and crew ! if it is what I think it might be, congratulations you deserve it !
Would have liked to have seen some footage of the guy on the Yamaha. See how the motorbike made out in the mountains. Snow envy! We get some good snow here in Newfoundland, but that stuff is ridiculous! Looks like so much fun!!!
"I'm gonna stay on the trail for the group." Immediately goes off trail for the next 4 min hahaha I know that's not what you meant but it was still pretty funny on the timing :D Love it!
Also, I've said it before but it's worth repeating: LOVING all the different camera angles. It's so awesome to see all the different perspectives. One of my faves is the camera at the front facing you. It's interesting to see the body weight movements in relation to the sled.
According to who? Cuz his 54 from last season is still broken. He just got his 165 back from having a shit track, his gen4 Freeride seized with 34km's on it....why are you Doo queens so fucking delusional???@@Brobro449
I would have been furious if i was you with all that bogging. Dont get me wrong, im a Polaris guy. But they do need to improve on these 3 things: #1 Surface area of the intake. When its cold like this the mesh freezes up to easy when some snow gets on it. The boost needs a lot of air. (Think ibexx intakes solves this btw.) #2 Throttleblock freezes up way to easy and gets stuck. Dont even think about having a thumb heater on if you are gonna get snow near the handlebars. #3 Powderbog on exhaust side. This is actually just a design issue which they can solve. Seen a sled that made a bigger "plow/cover" for the exhaust and also made a 45 degree bend out of from the plastic. That sorted the deep pow bog.
How do you have your rear skid set up? I have a 24 kaos 163 3” and it wheelies bad climbing. I have the rear shock full hard on clickers and a little bit of preload on it and soft on the front. Not sure if the 3” track is just trenching bad or if it’s skid set up. I know a kaos will wheelie more than a pro but I’m just curious. Yours seems to keep the front down nice climbing
Well that was some impressive riding while holding the 360 stick! I'm not sure everyone realizes how difficult this actually is.......Awesome Day. Proly time to get a fresh air intake on that boost.....just sayin! Thanks again Matt!!!!👍👍🙏😃👏🎬
have you thought about putting the fire and ice intake vents, or the ones caleb has on his sled onto your sled? i get a lot of powder bog on my khaos boost as well and i'd like to see the difference the aftermarket vent could make. it didn't help much on my old g4
Matt:”I’m gonna stay on the trail for the sake of the group getting to the alpine” 13 seconds later: proceeds to go off trail and go straight up😂🤣🤣. Love this guy man
Wow that a lot of bogging. Need that Munster Finger Throttle and possibly drill a couple holes in the Air box with frogskin for when your vents get caked.
@@208SledHead yes, only downside is if the throttle cable freezes/sticks you have no safety anymore. I have a tether and I'll occasionally pour so lock de-icer down the throttle cable to fight that problem.
Check out the mtntek airbox and ibex intakes. Notice Caleb has ibex intakes... And where is the munster? Remember when you had a finger throttle that didn't freeze? 😂
How do you like that Insta 360 camera? Have you ever ran a Go Pro Max? Also, have you tried any of the go pro colored lenses to try and combat the dull screen on snow days?
You see anyone on boosts running a filter outside the sled just above the turbo? Seems that would breathe better and a guy local to me makes the kits. But im a flatlander and have no pow to test the bog lol😂
Love when you have the whole crew out. I know is not the typical shredding, but love seeing everyone riding together. Another Great Video Matt!

I’m genuinely curious if you torqued the primary clutch bolt, and purchased a new one for when you hit 500 miles?
You need the vents that the boys at boondocks nation runs on there 9r to help with the bog that Polaris has

howd you mount the pack out on there
I know you're not really into aftermarket parts besides bumpers but would a different intake help for the bog such as a boondocker or ibexx intake?
It does help. Most of the issue is the air box collapsing, which is why it's bad on some and never shows up on others.
