And I'm a bit confused with the fiberglass wrap on the pipe, isn't it an insulation medium, so exactly how would wrapping the pipe help in any way to keep it cooler 🤷🏻♂️
Hi Kevin, the exhaust wrap is for show like on other less powerful bikes like MUTTs, but if you Google exhaust wrapping you will read why it’s done on high performance engines. Used to help fit it on rally cars, It does rip east though if you ride off-road as I found out recently 😁 Cheers Bruce
Hi, think you can reset warning lights by switching off ignition with finger on menu button and holding the button count 10 secs then switch on and restart bike and light i thing should go out, it may take several attempts, same way you remove the service spanner icon on dash when service is due 👍

Ivneed new digital scales as old set broke when accidentally dropped, but will weigh the Cat pipe soon and post up the weight on another garage film 😁👍 Cheers Bruce

In my country, police literally inserts rod to check the baffles.
Hi, I would keep the stock silencer and just fit the de cat mid pipe and fit the DNA air filter, the stock silencer has a lovely noise and keeps thing legal while the de cat mid pipe and freeer flow air filter gives the mid range power boost 👍😁
Hi, there are quiet a few silencers to choose from, i like the noise of the Punjab short bottle silencer i have, it is cheap to buy, but the more expensive stainless exhaust by Hitchcocks UK sounds nice and has a removable baffle if you want more noise 👍😁
Do you mean the orange engine management light? You can reset it by switching bike on and off while holding trip section button on left, there are films on TH-cam how to do it 👍

Hi, no the rubber mudguard flap stays put and has not yet folded up under the front mudguard, one of the cheapest good mods from Hitchcocks UK I have done, esp the amount of gravel that gets pick up by warm tyres
Service centre guy told me in the showroom that if I change the converter, then the engine will be more hot and there will be a problem in the engine, is it correct?

He is trusted and a lot of folk here in the UK have used the shop to buy pannier racks and bags etc...

Hi, the EFI re programmes itself once the engine has been run - I have read 10 minutes at idle and I have also read just ride it, I have 3000 miles on the bike now so it has done 2000 miles now since de cat done

@@Coastriderscotland Thanks mate. I installed this one, but there is a small air leak at the part where the muffler joins the straight pipe. I have tightened the clamp as much as I could to the point of just stripping the bolt if I apply any more torque, but there is this tiny leak that I can feel, like breathing on the palm of my hand. Did you face any such issue? Any suggestions? I might not even bother fixing this if it is not supposed to cause any problems. Also, I have noted a lot of pops and bangs on decelration and on rolling off throttle. Have you faced these too?
Wouldn't painting it been a shit load easier off the bike? And don't you think that a small hole drilled in the pipe to allow condensation to escape would be an idea 🤷🏻♂️ just a thought.
Hi Kevin, painting it prob easier but I wanted it warm to paint, bike is Coated in Lanoguard so not worried about overspray, tailpipe has a drain hole in it as it sits lower than rest of exhaust and is at the end of the system 👍 Cheers Bruce

Wrap does not cool exhausts. Ceramic coating will though

42 inside diameter pipe i think it was a 2 foot lenght and i cut approx 3” off it to match lenght of the Cat 😁👍
so from the engine side he went 41mm ID over the pipe and inside the muffler right is that understandable?

Hi, id does have a baffle but its less than the stock being smaller so a little bit louder

Hi, top speed is the same but engine pulls better low to mid range and feels a lot better for it👍
