Funny I am just looking for mockups. Perfect timing! Love the info you provide. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! You'll love Placeit!
Another great vid Hannah. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It’s a shame that mug mock up isn’t available anymore but really agree with the advice on this. I have bought some from Etsy in a similar style. Again, just handheld with no face. They work really well. Thank you ❤
Thank you for the template recommendations. I paid for the annual placeit and really like it.
Glad you like them!
That mug mock-up…I used to use all the time as well, but is no longer available on Placeit! I went to use it the other day and got a message it was discontinued. I can’t imagine why. It was my absolute favorite.
always full of ideas...thank u
Most welcome 😊
Thanks Hannah!
Glad this was helpful!
You are good teacher in design thank you
Thanks and welcome!
beutiful😍
I like you and your concept ❤. Keep going we all support you 😉.
Thank you!!
I love Placeit also
Thank you hanna
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the information. A follower from Morocco 🇲🇦
Glad it was helpful!
I will have to get this too along with Kittl, I will let you know
Definitely a great tool!
I'm impressed with this tutorial and your work. How do you create your designs? Please share and thank you.😊
I use both Kittl, creative fabrica and canva to make designs. I have lots of design tutorials on the channel too!
No comfort colors on placeit which is a huge problem
Love Placeit and that mug mockup is one I adore.
I have a more general question about the way you do Instagram. Let's say that I start an IG account all about gifts for underwater basketweavers (obviously a made up thing for this example!), because I have an Etsy shop that has a lot of underwater basketweaver t-shirts and mugs. For the IG account, in order to expand reach, I might put together a post of 10 great gifts for underwater basketweavers, and maybe half of them are for other sites -- something like a snorkel or basket material or whatever -- that I don't sell in my shop. And then I include a couple mugs and a couple t-shirts from my shop. If I mention that those particular items are from my shop, do I need to put in any tags to identify that it's basically an ad for my product, or is it okay to not tag it as an ad as long as I identify which ones are my products?
I hope that makes sense! I did very well marketing on Twitter, and that became a poor option, but I've never really gone deep into Instagram. Figured I'd give it a shot, especially since it sounds like they're working on a Twitter clone, but the learning curve for IG is quite a bit more steep than it was for Twitter!
Thank you so much for the awesome videos!
That’s a great idea! If you are posting as your own shop, there is no need to say this is an ad!
Niche themed page? Do you have a vid on this??😊
Quick question: Would you say the mockup with the product without people is better to use as the main product photo (which will appear when searching) and then place the model mockup photo second? Or the other way around?
Hey, please provide the link to your favorite mokups, I need to use it right away, I'm stuck at there for not having those mokups. Please 🙏
Hello hannah
I really liked this video but I have one concern that I am using shopify with printify to run my POD store
As you know printify suppliers have all different types of colors , which i think is tricky to create mock up for every color ,I have not tried it yet , just wanted to get any suggestions from you.
Thank you
Hi Hannah, great video as usual! As a new print on demand seller, do you recommend I use Canva, Kittl or Placeit? Keep up the excellent work! Thank you!
I use all of them, but I think Kittl is a great place to get started on for design, but if you will be needing lots of mockups, Placeit might be better.
@@hannahebeling Thank you for the information and quick reply, appreciate it. Why not Canva? Sorry, one last question...Do you recommend having your etsy store name resemble the niche you are selling in (if staying in one niche) or have a generic store name and sell in various niches? Thank you so much!
Does Place It offer discounts?
How do you get your design onto the mockup, then get it onto Etsy? I'm running into problems.
Hi, Hannah. Thanks for this tutorial. I'm having a challenge getting to the image cropper once my design is open. When I click on "Resize" it just sends me back to the sizing (100%) option. If I go up to "Tools" and selece "Image Resize" it takes me to the right tool (Image Cropper) but asks me to upload/drag and drop an image. Is there no way to get to the Image Cropper tool directly from my opened image?
UPDATE-- Nevermind! I watched another of your videos and it shows how to do this. Thanks for all you do!
Ive made some mock ups on place it but i still don't get it how to upload it on etsy 😢 plz help
Go to “edit” on your Etsy listing and then add it to the listing photos!
Hi Hannah, do you use PlaceIt to make your mockup videos? I do but they take WAY TOO LONG to process. How do you get around this, as I make a video for each listing. Would appreciate a video on just making listing video! 😊thanks
I do use the mock-ups videos but not for each listing, mostly for social media.
I’m trying to figure out how do I convert my designs in the proper format and save them so when I’m ready to do my mock-ups I can place them, I’m having a hard time.
Saving them as PNGs should work!
Hi Hannah. First of all, thank you for your video's. They are very helpful and i learn a lot from them. Secondaly, I'm not sure if It's correct place to Ask, but do you know if it's fine to create designs with USA presidental candidates? I mean ppls officialy registrated as presidental candidates. Thanks!
You can, but you have to be careful not to defame or use any campaign slogans or phrases.
@@hannahebelingnot here to defame anyone. So phrases as "candidates name" +2024 ,.'vote for ', using candidates portrait, should be fine? Things to avoid are slogans,(like 'make america great again'?) And what else? Official website names?
I'm confused... I use the mockups on Placit. Then use it on my etsy Store. But which print on demand takes my orders for placit mockups? I wish you had a video on how to do step by step making the mockups on placit.. then uploading on etsy with the print on demand linked up together with placit to make sales on your made up product.
I definitely need to make a more step by step tutorial. Thanks so much for the suggestion!
Yesssss, please do. Exactly what I need to know also.
Can you please provide the link to your favorite list mokups, I can't find it on place it 😫. Please please please
Good idea!
Please Do this 🙏🙏
What if you want to use your own photos for mockups? Is there a software like Placeit that allows you to use your own model mockups that your purchase from Etsy or other sites? I know there's Canva, but it's not really the same.
Kittl allows you to upload photos and warp text, so this may be a better option for making the mock-ups look more real and contoured.
Do you have or can you recommend a Kittl tutorial to teach one how to process your own uploads to Kittl and transform them into an abstract version? Please advise asap. Thanks.
Can you explain how we post these mockups to our etsy store or connect these with our printer partners? I created a mockup with Placeit and I am lost as to where I go to from there.
Check out my video about “how to integrate Etsy with printify”. It goes through each step in much more detail!
@@hannahebelingmy store is connected with Printify. I want to know how to move my mock-up photos from Placeit to my listings on Etsy or is that just for sharing on social media only.
@@hannahebeling I watched this video and omg thank you for addressing my question twice. I love your videos and will continue to watch them and also on IG. Thank you again ❤❤
That phrase that you made for MUGS without background, can you make that on placeit ?
You can definitely make mug designs on placeit!
@@hannahebeling thats great thank you for answering, can i ask a question, so when smby order from my etsy, i then transfer that money to my bank count and then pay to printify or how that works?
Doesn't this design raise up the concern about the the production shirt is so different from the beautiful design mockup shirt, may even concerning about the print area and position is so different, how do you handle this situation?
I thought Etsy used square pictures and video now.
You can post square pictures, but the thumbnails still crop rectangular. You can also use video, but not necessary.
At 3:17 you say "I went ahead and uploaded a design I created before...blah, blah, blah." How? How did you upload it? You didn't show that part.
Right at 3:16 it shows where you click "insert image." I have a few other videos on mockups too that might be helpful.
It's a pitty that Placeit doesn't have elements so that it would be a full editing platform plus the mockups they already have, one place for everything. I wonder how come. And I wish they had and stay 10 dollars per month, and I would go to them. Also, the color changing takes a long time
They actually do have tons of elements and templates, so you could technically use them for everything if you didn't want to get another design suite.
@@hannahebeling Thanks Hannah! I didn't see them, do they only appear with the paid version, where could I find the elements?
Placeit mocks take WAY TOO LONG to make. I don’t believe any successful Etsy seller used them as you’d spend days just making mock-ups.
I haven’t had this experience!
You got to be slow if it’s taking you days to make a mock-up💀
Not my experience, at all.
Is it the mockups or the actual product? I'm guessing it's the actual product.
The mock-ups are what’s on placeit. Those have helped me generate income on my bestselling products.
