    Troubleshooting: If you try this and when you change the design, yours doesn't update on the mockups page, then you probably forgot to "make it a component". 6:01 is the spot in the video where I show you how to do that th-cam.com/video/FubIbfLqeNs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pLgnKrW1UbozYG-t&t=361

    Cassiy, you are the Queen of Etsy Royal Teaching! I bow to you, my Queen. This video among the many on TH-cam has saved me (a newbie) tons of hours in bulk mockup creations. I have just stepped into this arena, and as a retired consumer market research analyst, I have researched hours of TH-cam Etsy videos before subscribing to you.
    While I have an extensive designer career background, you have filled in the vital parts of the puzzle with your videos to guide me in the right path to success. This video has given me one of many tools that I knew I needed to for bulk mockups. I thank you for Paying it forward. You will continue to be rewarded.

    I have 110 designs that I need to create mockups for using 6 - 8 different colors. You and Alek have helped me get my Shopify store up, probably a month sooner than I would have. I hated Figma, but now I love it.

    This might be the best tutorial I have ever watched as far as helping me truly save time. I watch Alek and love all of his content, but somehow this video made me take action. • @laurencook4875
    @laurencook4875 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    SUCH an amazing tool! I tried it out and I LOVE it! Thank you! One thing I learned while I was doing it was that you can add rectangle shapes first. Then hit ctrl, shift, k (win) and place each image in the rectangle box. That way they form a nice grid and you don't have to work with mockups that are all different shapes and sizes. It was more visually appealing, less overwhelming, and easier to resize for me!

    Hey Cassiy! I'm experiencing my first proper Christmas season with regular sales between 7-20 per day and OMG the customer service aspect is intense: out-of-stock items, missing tracking numbers, late items, lost items, orders by mistake, Printify Live Chat marathons (+ a few personalized orders)🤯I spend all day reacting and talking to customers or Printify Live Agents and trouble-shooting. How do high-volume sellers even handle 40-100 daily sales without burnout? How do you take a day/weekend off or manage your shop when you get sick. Is it possible to make this sustainable and scale-able without becoming exhausting? Grateful for any advice❤

      1. Use a better POD provider such as printed mint with less mistakes if any. 2. Outsource help with filipino virtual assistants. I once had 120-140 orders daily during christmas rush during covid and burnt out. I hired virtual assistants. But then you have to manage them. So yeah you grow and learn new problems lol

    Figma. Thanks so much, Cassiy. I'm learning so much, but I get design paralysis. Especially with time management and getting more designs up. This video is very helpful. This is great for multiple colors and items. I made 89 bulk designs, and then I didn't like the tshirt colors available or the letter colors I used. UGH. I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this. Baby steps, but thank you so much for you no-nonsense help.

      Sorry I didn't explain that, you can buy these on Etsy! Just make sure you are buying the mockup for the exact item you are selling. Like if you are selling a Bella canvas 3001 shirt in black, then type "Bella 3001 black mockup" into Etsy and tons of options will pop up! • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I will be making a video on it soon! In the meantime, sort by wordmark on the left and click "expert" on the right. Then once you search, uncheck the dead listings on the left, and then check the class code 25 on the left as well. This will narrow the results a lot for you! Then it will still bring a bunch of unrelated stuff up. So do "command + F" or "Control + F" to get the search bar to come up. Type in the exact words you are trying to find and then you can click the next arrow over and over to go through only the ones that are matches. Hope this quick typed out version helps in the meantime!

    I may be a bit slow, where do you get all the mockups in your download? Did you buy them, create them? Since I have ZERO experience with this technology, no matter how many times I replay, there seems to be a step I'm missing. You do a great job explaining, I just can't keep up with the steps if I do t even know how or where you get the mock-up in the first place. Downloading them from where to where is a main question.

    I would think this will be brilliant for 'flat' designs, but what would you say about using the idea for say MUGS, I would be very pleased to hear your ideas! Thanks 😊

    I did learn that when resizing the design, if you hold the shift key while resizing, it will not crop the image and it keeps it in proportion.

    Good morning Cassiy. I am dipping my toe into designing on Canva and building a Printify pop up store. Eventually I plan to hook to Etsy and others. My first question is… how do I get a Canvas design to 300dpi so it prints at the highest quality on shirts?

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just make sure you are using up a large portion of the Canva canvas and the right size canvas, then you should be good to go! As long as Printify says "high quality" then you are all set! I usually design on a 4500x5400 size canvas.

      Another rookie question. I have picked T-shirt and designed on the canvas it provides. How do I know what size the canvas actually is?

    This looks like a great timesaver! Question - how important do you think videos are? I usually create a video for each listing which is easy to do in Canva. Do you know if this can be done in Figma?

    Can we use kittl for this instead of Canva

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! You can make your designs in any software and then just replace the image in figma just like I show in this tutorial!
