Hey, Kerry. Great content, as always. (Discovered you just this week.) If I take a picture of something and get it to the computer via memory card, how do I prep the image for uploading to Placeit?
Thank you for the tutorial. I am thinking of having an ETSY shop for print on demand apparel. Can I use the mockups from PlaceIt for Printly or Printify instead of using theii own mockups?
Place It's AOP hoodies are fantastic but the fact they haven't even started AOP Puffer Jacket's upsets me greatly. I can't find any Mock Up company that does human modeled mock ups for puffer jackets. Kerry are you aware of any mock up company that is covering AOP Puffer Jackets
Yeah, there are products I want to make that don’t have any mock-ups, either. I thought it might be a good niche to get into….making mock-ups for products that don’t exist.
Placeit is too slow unfortunately. If there was an option to upload all files and put them into random models with specific tags that would be good, but otherwise upload every design separately then processing and downloading takes too much time.
I just started place it yesterday, and honestly, I think it’s horrible. None of them have an Etsy aesthetic, and I don’t think they’re all that great. I have a mock-up issue, I am not sure what to do with. I am making a design, but I have to put the design on an all over print shirt, even though I am only using a 4500x5400 design on the front or back…not a pattern all over it. The reason is, the design only works with sublimation, not DTG, however, finding a mock-up for an all over print shirt, with just a single design, to put on Etsy, I am not finding a good mock-up and it is frustrating.
How do you narrow your search to NO models? All the filters involve models and people. I want to exclude all models. There doesn't seem to be a filter for this.
There are something like 8,000 placeit mockups and millions of stores in thousands of niches. Very unlikely that customers have seen them more than once.
My issue with Placeit is that you are limited by how much text and graphics you are allowed to add.
Do u recommend having one of these or having a printify .?
I like Placeit too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I use Placit all the time. I don't know what I would do without my subscription...seriously.
For real! Thanks for watching!
Hey there. I'm an avid user of placeit and love ther service. My only gripe is the dpi on the designs is only 72. How do I change that to 300?
If you still need help, i found a method!
@@Tolseren I need a method. I upload to Stahls or Transfer Express and no matter what, it tells me my resolution is too low. I need help desperately.
@@Tolseren Hi, please let me know
@@samrendra81 you can change the DPI in GIMP, free program 😊

yes, absolutely!
@@KerryEgeler etsy designs have copyright issue, you cannot use it for commercial purposes, can u?

You might check out this video on using A.I. to get personalized mockups: th-cam.com/video/sCC2DaovrDo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=esbVHoJZcgrU7MQk

Met one or two people using Photoshop and midjourney to get it done. One of them was charging $1.99 per mock up.

Been using Placeit for a while and I HATE IT. Mockups are ALWAYS blurry no matter what DPI you use.
Never had this issue in 6 years
i also am not a fan. do u have a better alternative with a more user friendly site?
@@KerryEgeler How do we fix it? I have the same issue whenever I try to upload my designs to transfer express, it says the resolution is too low.
Subscribed- make me proud and make a review on inkblot supplier- if they are any good. Cant find any review online
Thing is. How do Placeit mock-ups upload and link to the colours available on Printful?
They do not link together. You'll need to select the closest color in Placeit.
Great video as ever! Just subscribed ... 5 bucks a month.
Thank you!
How did you get a $5 per month plan? Lucky you.

Why are Mockups blurry? It's useless.

Try using “flat lay t-shirt mockup” or terms like that, but it likely won’t be perfect
why don't they have manly man models on placeit, I hate that!
omFg i just wrOTE THEM THAT!!!
Very limited in so many ways.
They have issues especially with billing to be so marginal of a company. Its actually laughable. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.
Yep. My husband and I are trying to create designs and subscribe and it keeps declining our payment. It’s utterly annoying and beyond frustrating.
I've been running into this same issue. Can't even do Monthly payment option to get logo I setup and gif/video of it.
Any suggestions for similar sites? Because can't use site if they won't except payments for anything.
I just started using it. I subscribed. It was going well. Then I started getting made by placeit. How can I get rid of that? Thx.
I just started using them yesterday, and I am not all that happy with them, probably won’t keep the subscription.
If everyone is using Placeit, then every store is going to look similar.

Their designs are hideous!
