    Great tutorial! I love the theory behind this. I'd like to see more of those to know how to recreate produced stuff. Would even pay for that in this quality ❤

      I will release more sound design videos in the future. I'm by no means an expert though, I'm still learning stuff myself. My channel is a bit too small for memberships as of now, but I might have plans for it 🤔

    14:48 i what was the input and output fx for this sound ? thank you

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Input FX was the saw wave (GNR delay, LPF, Synth with the settings that I showed in the video) and a Pitch Bend 100 at +3 Octaves. Then I bounced it with a LPF (everything 0, except for cutoff which was 90) and Chorus with Rate 40, Depth 60. The last 4 Track FX were ones that I used in 1 of my songs: Transpose Sequencer, Step Slicer Sequencer, Reverb and Panning Delay. The first 6 effects are the most important ones though. I also recommend turning down the volume, Pitch Bended saw waves are very loud.

      Pre Amp (JC-120), HPF, Transpose and Step Slicer (only on the higher pitched sine wave).

    14:38 How can I do that. I have a funny idea for an elimination round and this classic song would be perfect

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'd love to hear that! I kinda did this for memes, so it didn't have to be something convient to perform. I used saw wave + Chorus (or back then 2 detuned saw waves instead I think) and then 3 tranpose sequencers for the melody, bounced that, and then bounced it again with 3 step slicer sequencers and reverb for the note lengths. If you're using 1shot you can maybe get around the Slicers, but not sure if there's a way to get around the Transposes 🤔

    When I use a gnr delay/LPF/distortion I get the sine wave to generate from a kick sound but for some reason it won’t turn off unless I turn the feedback down in the setting, even turning the setting off it still sustains forever

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, that's normal. 100 feedback means that it will keep playing the sound indefinitely. Switching the effect off doesn't stop the sound from playing, but it will stop new inputs from getting in. If you want the sound to stop playing, you have to either change the effect (from GNR delay to something else) or you have to switch the FX bank. I also do this several times in the video. Turning the feedback down also works, like you mentioned, but takes a bit longer than the other methods I think.

    Interesting! Never thought about trying to create the raw waveforms on just the looper. You should get into synthesis if you haven't already

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's actually amazing what you can do with just the loop station on its own. I wanted to create some covers and since I don't have extra devices, I tried to figure these wave forms out on the loop station. I definitely experimented a bit with synthesis, lots more to learn though :)

  • @athaya1588
    @athaya1588 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    can u somehow make for example sine and saw go together in one bank effect without putting it one at a time on seperate track??

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I understand you correctly, that should be pretty simple, because the saw wave is basically a sine wave with a Synth effect on top. So you could use: GNR Delay, LPF, Synth, Pitch Bend and depending on if you need Sine or Saw either turn the Synth effect on or off.

    Nice tutorials! How do you change the colour of the FX and Track buttons?

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! You have to go to "CTL FUNC" in the main menu, then "PLAY" and then select the track of choice. Now turn the "FUNC" knob all the way to the right until it shows "LED". Once that's done you can go 1 page to the right to adjust the colors (you switch between min/max if you press the button). I highly recommend checking out this video: th-cam.com/video/nDbh7WgnqY8/w-d-xo.html by Mr. Esuoh for more details.

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@keek4413 Both of these textures are made in a similar fashion. The trick is creating 2 sine wave that are a few octaves (2 for example) apart. Then I put a Pre-Amp on it (you can experiment with different settings here) and a Step Slicer to "chop" it a bit. In the case of 4:26 I also added a HPF with high resonance at a low cutoff and for 4:40 it was a simple Chorus instead. I also recommend that you search for "How to DnB" or something like this on TH-cam and try to imitate their effects 😉

    • @ZharynMusic
      @ZharynMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To do this, simply create the sine wave like I showed in the video and Pitch Bend it to +4Oct, 68 Bend. If you want to make it cleaner, put a BPF with cutoff 60 on top of it. Then add the transpose sequencers (you'll need 3 in total) to get the melody and put a reverb on it. Hope this helps!
