5:48 Another update was released in May. And they still haven't fixed it 😪. Bounce in is so great, but this unfortunately limits the potential of this feature. I want to record more fx on track but I don't want to mute, for example, the track on which I have a kick. However, there are moments when I want to mute..so this complicates a lot of things. Has the company created a forum where you can leave feedback? Or anything else?
Wait, couldn't you like keep evolving your beat over and over? Like get an element of surprise in by freeing a track or two. That seems super op!!! Can't wait to get my own RC 505 MkII!
It's not as easy as that. You could do it, but you'd have to select the right tracks to bounce each time. Since I'm always using ALL, I can't do it. But if you choose which tracks you want specifically, yes you can do that. ;)
Would you recommend a sequencer or a sampler or a groovebox or a a synth to use with tc505 and a handpan? I'm planning on looping handpan with didgeridoo and jaw harp and maybe some voice, but I feel attracted to the idea of mixing some electrònic music to it and there are so many options out there, something with a keyboard would be nice and I see many samplers or sequencers or grooveboxes have that, but it's so confusing to have all that option
Sadly.. if I'm not mistaken. When you bounce a track effect and then take that effect off you lose the effect. The only thing that it does is layer an effect while that effect is still on
Hi! I'm experimenting with the mk2 and I found something intresting: It's possible to bounce the track fx of every type on a track also if all tracks are not bounce abilited, but in order to do that you have to set the track fx not on "all" but on that specific track on the "target option". I discover it because I found the same mecchanism for the inputfx: if on one of your track you have blocked some input like mic2 or inst1 (for exemple if you want to loop your Beatbox and, at the same time, you don't want to loop someone else voice) the input fx will be not recorded also on the Beatbox that you loop if the target of the fx is set on "all" you have to set it specifically on the input you are using to rec (for exemple mic1) to record it. And the strange thing is that in this situation the fx come alway 50:50 dry/wet, also for fx like traspose. I don't know the reason, it's a strange mecchanism, probably it can works better. Hope this can be usefull for any people, bye!
Hey ! Yes I figured this out also but as you said it comes out a bit strange. It doesn't work well for me either, and it is not very flexible also since the Track FX may need to be applied on not just one but 2 tracks. I hope this will be fixed with an update :)
Great video!! 👌 Would be cool to assign the bounce targets to the ‘track’ button, that would you could turn on/off which tracks are gonna bounce and then it won’t affect the tracks that you don’t want. 🤔

Thank you man 🔥 The only negative aspect I see is losing a little dynamic without being able to undo/redo parts. But on the other hand, it just breaks all previous limits we just had. I can't even imagine how beautiful future loop tracks will be, and am even scared, cause it will be much harder to keep up now 😅

It would also be cool if there was a setting for the mic input signal coming into the bounce track.. seems like I have bounced with mic signal and without.. can be cool to use that, but it’s clunky just like bouncing fx..

I'm a new looper fan, I love the beatbox stuff but I'm not that good at it, its amazing how you do the live stuff with all the rembering of settings and timing and everything, this is by far the hardest but most fun istrument Ive ever learned.. Im using my rc505 mk2 with guitar and vsts and practicing the beatboxing..but this really helped. Thanks man

I need some help. I just got this device and I am struggling to prevent bouncing! I have bounce SW off, and all five tracks are set to NOT bounce. Yet, if I have a recording on track 1, and have it playing, and I hit record on track 2 and play something new into it, track 2 will have recorded both track 1 and the new stuff on track 2 all on track 2. I’m tearing my hair out. I just want to be able to record one track at a time without somehow automatically bouncing previously recorded tracks into a new track. Please help. Thank you.
I hope BOSS company will notice this and fix that goddamn problem, very new and sometimes confusing here on how to use for some dope loopstation music tracks but still, you're so awesome and IMY dude! ❤👍🔥😊👋

No, if you set every track to be on for bouncing onto another track, it should record the TFX just as well!

To my knowledge, nobody bounced during KBB21? (I’m not shading them, it was such a beta experience in 2021 haha)
