Don't mean to criticize but maybe you could slow down a little. I got dizzy trying to watch the camera/phone movement and had to keep pausing to see any detail. Maybe I am just old.
greeny, love the channel. just one suggestion. a lot of us rely on songthows for transportation. you may want to mention if these properties are accessable via public transportation. where are the stores, malls, etc...
Residence at Dream Pattaya and La Royal basically the same properties (same builder). The floor plans are exactly the same, Buildings only a couple of hundred feet apart (in Jomtien). The "148SQM" vs the "106SQM": the 106SQM sits to the "back" or side of the building, the 148SQM usually faces the Ocean. The 248 SQM (in the center of the building) always face the shore line there in Jomtien. .
I remember an episode of “Cheers” where Woody (an aspiring actor) returned from an audition. He was asked “how did it go?”, to which he replied, “Great, I said my lines faster than anyone else.”
I am in my 50's and retired and torn between relocating to Thailand or Portugal. The amount of accommodation you get in Jomtien is impressive. I expect you could negotiate down on the prices they were asking aswell. I think I would start by renting and only buy once I am sure of everything. Did your lady have a favourite?
She likes everything but of course she’s would really like a house where she could garden. That’s not happening though. I want a sea view in my next place
Anyone of those condos are fine. They all have different positives depending whats most important to the individual. Thanks for the tours....great job encompassing all tours into one summarized video. The other tubers make a long series of condo showings, which is also ok, but I prefer your quick review.👍
Thank you for the video. I like the large area of these condos but fear the cooling/electric bill would likely be as much as rent in a more modest accommodation. I understand some condos charge above govt rate for electric. I'd ask for the electric bill history before considering a lease in such large condos.
I think unit 1 and 2 is the best. but unit 7 has probably the best balcony and the best view with all the greens and the frontal ocean view. but aside from the 1st 4 units, the legendary thai architectural design continues onto their condo floor plans. and their fame is that the floor plans never made any sense....
A few decent deals there (some overpriced), and quite a variety of decor. I liked the Krisda Golden with all the wood, but the Smithsonian called and asked if it could have those old TVs for an exhibit! Always enjoy some tours to see what's out there. I'm assuming the rates the agent quotes you is for a year-long lease. Subscribed, Liked, and Shared via Twitter (@ThaiVlogger) where I promote channels like yours.
When you were looking around previously, you said Jomtien was "too dead." I guess you've changed your mind. Do you consider it a nice walk from Jomtien to Pattaya Beach ("nice" as in not shady, reasonably little potential for crime, legit sidewalks where you don't have to walk on the road)? Great vid, Greeny. These vid really are an excellent resource.
Thx. These are even further out now. We have car now and have made some friends down that way so I am considering it. Before, no car no girlfriend no way
@@GreenyTravels I’ve given it great thought I live in the Philippines and the visa situation is easy but in Thailand you don’t know from one day to the next your better off renting. Invest your money in dividend paying stocks and with the dividend pay your rent. If you don’t like condo or location move easy peezy
The first one you visited was ok but to be honest the decor sucked in all of them, compared with where you’re staying now what do you think Greeny? Interesting video Greeny 👍
Unrealistic prices for the location I like Jomtein but this part Na Jomtein is too far away for me & a lot of others great places but financially way out of most expats rental range good vlog though 👍
Location, location, location. First decide why you live in Pattaya area and what you want to do on most days, then pick your place. Traffic in normal times is a bitch.
Yea. Now that I have a car I can move away a little. Can always come back to eat or go to make but I won’t won’t to deal with this place when it becomes tourist central
Some very poorly designed apartments with 70’s/80’s decor, they look depressing. I’d much rather take something around 60sqm with modern design, appliances & fittings.
@@GreenyTravels definitely some opportunity there to renovate if you purchased, but I don’t think you would get much capital growth with a saturated market. Good video though to see what options are out there.
Wow, old, dated and overpriced is my first impression. You can places much nicer and for less money, and whoever was asking 6,000,000 for that last condo must also believe in Father Christmas and the tooth fairy 🤣🤣
All depends on how much to buy for and how much you are selling for. Maybe your friend bought for too high and can’t get out of it. Every situation is different and there are some great bargains out there right now. Stay tuned. This topic will be addressed in a future video
Fantastic channel here Thanks
See you again stay safe all the best 👍👍😍

I know I know lol. I bought the new gimble DJI. Will make it all slower. Next time.
@@GreenyTravels I look forward to the next one.
Good looking beach front living ! Thank you Greeny ... Enjoy
You are welcome 🙏
Haven’t seen so many old fashioned boxy TVs since the 90’s! Bet those units have been unoccupied for years. Enjoy the accommodation and food reviews 👍
Thank you. Yep a real relic. Definitely more prevalent over here. Still some hotels sporting them in the rooms
very nice and you have moe value for your money.for me i love to live in the city
The great thing here is you can do 6 months here. Then there and bounce around
Nice vlog but most were not a great value for Thailand. "Dated decor" was an understatement 🤣😂 Thanks, guys!
Yep. I agree. And the asking prices too May were way overpriced
These all look very inviting and tempting but we can't be there at the moment. We'll dream on while waiting for better days. Thanks for the reviews.
Lol. Just trying to get everyone ready
So beautiful 🤩apartment
Love the first ones. They are putting a lot of money in that building
@@GreenyTravels yes the first one is the best I think 🤔

Ok. Thx. If I profess with more real estate videos I sill definitely try to include more information like that.
You should team up with Everything Pattaya, do a double act😊 lol
Not sure if I saw that one. Will have to look
Looks awesome 👌
Thank Kev!
Good work
Thank you!!
Great job for showing rental properties

Lots of construction down there

That is true. My unit at grand Ave was higher
remember, the larger the unit- the larger the AC bill.
Somewhat. Some of the units have 3 ACs but you can just run one at a time depending on which room you are in.
The maintenance fee is several hundred dollars a month Electricity bills also need to
Yep. If you buy you definitely have to consider that
1,600,000 USD isn't too bad for those two homes on the water considering what all in included in the price.
They will be sweet when completed.
Do the units come furnished with everything you've shown in the video?
Yes

Yep. Very similar.
Keep in mind when buying a condo with a view to ocean can someone build in front of you and block your view
Can happen. For sure.
I buy all for you !! Take me to ATM 👏
I’m right here. 😊😊😊

Nice apartments but im a house guy ...like my own private space
Dont have 50 million baht spare at the moment though
Lol. Would be a nice backyard though
@@GreenyTravels ... perfect
those prices are all overpriced. You can rent hotels with as much space ,pool views, gyms etc for much less in much better areas
This is a pretty nice area if you want it quiet with more private beaches away from tourists. I’m looking all over though
Nice but overpriced
Is everything overpriced?
Jomtien, no thanks. Too isolated. And the beach views do not justify the rents on the unites you quoted. I like your current unit location Greeny.
