- In this video we are going to look at two great sea view condos at Sunrise Beach in Na Jomtien. These condos are about 25 minutes south of Pattaya proper. Big units. One is a penthouse with a private rooftop where the parties could be endless. Wait to you see this new property agent showing me this units. Well you probably guessed it. My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in my field. I didn’t want to work so long that I would be too old to enjoy my retirement. After living in Michigan my whole life I decided I wanted to retire somewhere warm, somewhere exotic. I sampled a ton of places in the Caribbean, Panama, Colombia, Turkey but set my sights on Thailand. I spent most of the winter of 2020 exploring Thailand then ......you know what happened. IT!!!
So I had to catch one of the last flights and come home. Now I’m back.
Why am I making videos? I need a hobby. I feel if I don’t do anything creative my mind may melt. I can also easily go back and reminisce by watching the videos. If anyone else enjoys them then that is a plus.

Yes. But those are way more money and much smaller. There is also a lot of noise from the fishing boat at 430 am at Cetus.

If I was buying the penthouse my only knock would be the tub/shower in the master. I would rather a walk-in shower, other than that, a fabulous place. Love the large balconies and rooftop patio.

I think im going to spend 30 days in Thailand next summer with my son. He will be 15yrs old and I want him to experience different cultures. Plus I want to scout out locations to hang my hat before i retire
Great idea. I took my boys to Spain, France and Italy around the Mediterranean where they were 15 and 16. It was a great trip.

Two really beautiful rooms, but why do a lot of expats only rent/buy condos? For 19000 or maybe a little more you can rent a house with a big yard and in some cases a pool. I would want to own a pet also and many condos don't allow that, on the other hand houses do. Thanks for posting, and the property agent is really cute.
Some pluses. No maintenance and in the case nice ocean view. I loved the view
I live on the coast of South Carolina (Myrtle Beach) and I am only 10 minutes from the beach, it's beautiful but I think I've been too the beach only 10 times in 25 years, I guess I'm weird 🙂

I was very surprised that Fai didn't take her shoes off in either of the apartments and I guess you didn't either, why was that? Entering a home for this at least, it's almost an automatic thing to take them off.
No for these. They have been vacant for a while. Dust. We actually did a little cleaning before the video. They will be professionally cleaned before someone moves in. Now at a place where someone is living. Yes. Shoes would come off
Incredible place. Love the spacious terrace. Is it walkable to shopping and dining? 19,000 baht sounds great.
Better to have a cot or motorbike there. Can walk to Ban Ampur. There is some things there. Not like Pattaya. If you like a little away from the action and noise that place is great

There are so many empty condos in Thailand. I’d hate to be the owner of one. I use to travel to Thailand a couple times a year but I have mixed thoughts of thailand now. I don’t like how the government has disrespect of foreigners but on the other hand the foreigner built Thailand. What Thailand would be like if it wasn’t for the foreigner. Just my two cents.

@@GreenyTravels I guess I just compare the policies of the Philippines to Thailand. For example I’m on a retirement visa. I pay $30.00 every three years and never have to check in to the government only once every three years to renew. Easy no headaches.
@@billyjohnson9166 definitely a lot more red tape here. Lots of Bureaucracy. Lots of paperwork. It took me 45 minutes to get a 1000 baht gift card today at Big C. Nothing easy. It’s all made me chill out a little and stop rushing around type A like. Now I’m like an A- 😂
@@GreenyTravels it’s the same in the Philippines. I’ve learned to accept it and be happy that they allow me to live here. I’m in the U S getting my vaccine. It’s been over a year since I’ve traveled. Every country has its good parts and bad parts.

Depends on what you are looking for. Waterfront. High floor low floor size. Newer older. So many variables

The 1st condo looks really badly designed....the 'master' bedroom has no windows at all - only a piece of glass so people in the living room can look in. And bedroom 2 has some funny 2 window arrangement which I'm not even sure that you can open. And no en suite bathrooms....The penthouse is a bit better but as someone who prefers to shower, I don't like the bath and no separate shower. And if there is really nearly 200 sqm of space why does the master bedroom look like a corridor?
They count all the space. Balconies rooftop etc. I think the interior was 85 SQR meters. The design on the first could definitely be better. Still decent price for the size with that view though

Calculation for buying a condo =monthly rent x 10 years =price you would start to offer also what you would think you would rent it for easily
That’s usually about the ratios I look at. Some other factors involved right now. I am working on a video about that as we speak actually.
