The last situation is they are such a jerk and it's not as if they do not know themselves. They would rather play ostrich and let the storm blow past. You bet there was a survey comducted and you won't be surprised to find more women than men want a closure in a relationship. Men do not find it necessary and deem it as understood. They nicely put it as they don't want to hurt the women, but they have already done it with their action. 😠
Actions speak louder than words. If someone genuinely cares about you, they’ll make time for you. I had someone who did, and it was great for a little while. Then, they changed as if I never knew them. They dropped me like I never mattered. It hurt for a while, because I’d see them at work. But it was a blessing for me, because I knew that I wouldn’t want to do the same to someone else, and damage them more. Everyone’s got their own battles and pains. I wouldn’t want to be one of the people to add on to it. Move on, no matter how hard it is. Because once you do, you’ll become a magnet for someone who really cares about you, and you’ll look back at the past and feel happy you went through it. You are worth it. You are enough. Keep going and don’t give up.

I recently got ghosted. And there are things I've learnt. I don't see myself as a victim of anything. I too was unsure of my feelings for him. And there parts of me that were starting to open up to the idea of being with someone like him. Being ignored is not easy but everyone is going through something or trying to work on themselves. So while I am accepting what happened, there's apart of me that wants to cry . There's apart of me that remembers the good he has done for me. There's apart of me that wants to focus on my own growth. There's apart that wants to laugh at myself. ❤ Everyone is a work in progress. (I needed to get that out).

We chatted on messenger and she told me that she likes me then all of a sudden she's been cold to me after her ex wanted to get back to her. It really hurts but the lesson I've learned with this experience made me stronger and wiser. I wont let this happen to me next time. Hope you too guys.

I’ve bee ghosted recently and it’s killing me, tbh.
The longer it goes on, the more confused I feel. I had several really good dates with somebody. Then one day of no contact turns into almost a month and I have no idea why. I didn’t do anything wrong, there was no hint, clue or suggestion this would happen...and it absolutely sucks. You want to keep asking questions and to try and get a response but at the same time you know you should probably leave it and let this bird fly away. It’s difficult as I only had really good times with this person....I know they had a good time too. It hurts your pride, self esteem and confidence. I don’t even hate this person or have negative feelings towards them...I just wish I knew why they felt like I could be dropped like I didn’t matter and with no consideration for how it might feel. If I was an arsehole or rude to them, or we argued or didn’t get on then maybe I could begin to accept and understand being ghosted...but it was the complete opposite.
Yes.. Being blocked on WhatsApp out of the blue, for no apparent reason when you had an hour of lovely chat 5 min earlier really hurts your feelings. I've been depressed for 3 days. Today I'm feeling better. I don't know the guy that well so it's not love. But it shatters your self esteem being ghosted like that. Yeah man this exact same thing happened to me. It was more of a summer fling thing not a relationship but still we had hung out a lot and I thought we were both having a good time then I just get left on read randomly. And I’m not pissed at her, it’s completely her right to make the decision to end it but it’s just so frustrating not even knowing what I did wrong and thinking I fucked up. I guess I’m just trying to look on the bright side and I’m saying to myself at least she made it obvious she wasn’t into me anymore and I can now move on.

I recently got ghosted by someone I thought was a great guy....so I changed my number and blocked him on social media.
Going from an 8 year relationship to then using dating apps (or just dating in general) has single-handedly been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’ve been ghosted more times than I can count, just because I wear my heart on my sleeve and tell them how I feel. Dating nowadays is a game of “whoever can give a shit less-wins.” It’s so disheartening and I’m slowly giving up.

It's hard to tell whether an American is really interested in you or just polite. I think the Korean language approach is actually good in this sense. It has a high power-distance style with honorifics and suffixes relating to age, position, and also closeness so you know how close you and the other person are based on your language so you won't misunderstand someone polite and friendly as really wanting to get close to you.

Ghosting is absolutely terrible. It’s not hard to be straight forward and let someone know that you aren’t interested. I’ve been ghosted a few times after meeting people on dating apps. Although I will admit when I was younger I wasn’t the best at communicating that I didn’t see things going anywhere after a few dates or whatever but as a grown a s s adult I know ghosting is one of the worst things you can do to someone. Act your age and treat people the way you want to be treated as a lot of people have said in the comments karma is real.
That is so true. I knew this before I became awake but I didn't know what it was now I do. Don't chase after anyone. If someone is ghosting you. Get with someone else and once u spark happiness your vibration will rise and start pulling everything that belongs to u back to u...girlfriend, lover, job, and if it don't come back to u it's not yours.

Ghosting has made my life easier to be honest..I was that "Nice girl" too who naively waited to get some kind of communication, but sooner/later you're going to get to that breakingpoint when you just don't give a F how someone else feels or even how they feel about you! If you don't linger in someone's mind why should they be in yours? or want to waist another minute of your precious life to get a shady apology/explanation from them?? I am truly thankful to those who ghosted or hurt me, I learned how to choose ME above anyone else's feelings and hit that block button without explanation or remorse.

We've been texting and video calling for almost 4months and i was so excited coz we were making plans to see each other personally but when he was finally back home. He ghosted me, unfriended me on facebook but before he did that, he posted pictures of him and his girlfriend. You always think there's a chance that there's an explanation why they haven't texted you back other than they just don't like you, and it sucks being strung along like that and sitting around waiting for a text that's never gonna come.
