At first I thought I was looking at 1/8 buggy’s, it was crazy seeing the size of your hands next to the mini brushless motor 😁 Nice upgrade 👍 That’s a beautiful area you live in 😎 Great video dude 🤝 Have a great weekend dude 🏁
Yeah, man, Al, I can hear you're having a good time with these! I got my Typhon Grom finally, I love it, so far running it with the stock setup, goodtimes! Have a good one there, buddy!
Hey Mads, I'm starting to get into the smaller RC now, going to build a ramp for the smaller RC have a bit of fun off the driveway, my grass is a bit to long for these RCS. Glad you got the Typhon Grom, it will put a smile on your face every time you drive it. Take care and stay safe my friend.
Very cool, easy and budget upgrades can do a lot for this car. Being around 40's a great speed for this size. Awesome performance on your course, too. Thanks for showing Al.
Hi Dirk, I was looking for a brushless upgrade that wouldn't cost to much but still give me a little more speed with out destroying any of the internal gears and diffs. Thanks for watching and for the great comment my friend.
Well that woke both of them up!! The little Typhon was flying out there! I was surprised on how well the Granite did at speed, it kind of thought that one would get really twitchy and flip easily. Both did great and once the track is all dirt they are going to rip around there nicely!!
That it did Addam, I'm not looking to go 60+mph with these, just enough speed to keep them fun. Controllable at these speeds I was expecting to have to change out the receiver on th Granite with one that has a gyro, but it did awesome out on the street. Hoping to have the track cleared by this weekend. Thanks for watching, take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Awesome upgrades Al. Nice to see these in full control and not doing instant backflips upon accelerating. Boy , these really handle that track of your nicely! Hope all is going well Dude. God Bless✌🏼😝
Hey Robby, I am not looking to do 60+mph with these 1/14th & 1/18th scale RCs, you start destroying gears and other things. I am doing well, glad to see and hear form you my friend. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. God Bless you as well.
Hello RandyandCyndi, thank you for watching the video and for the awesome comment. I'm glad you liked the video, just looking for a little bit more speed, nothing crazy. Thanks for the support, take care and best wishes to you and the family.
I need to apologize to you Trey, I have been pretty busy lately and I am trying to respond to everyone's comment. I just need a little bit more speed for them to be able to have fun on the track. Not to much where they are uncontrollable but enough where you have to pay attention to what you are doing. They are zippy now. Thanks again for stopping by to watch and for the awesome comment. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Hello Jeremy, for me, this is the perfect upgrades for both, little more speed but not too much where they are not controllable. Thanks for watching and for the support. Take care and have a wonderful week.
I honestly didn't think I would like either of them, but there's something about driving a smaller scale RC. With the correct esc and motor, they are a blast to drive.
For this one, I can't give you an exact runtime since they both were ran in this video roughly 13min each then another 7 to 8 min more off camera on that single Gens Ace 3s, 2200mAh battery each and still didn't run the batter down.

Nice one always good to come back here !! They are going pretty good 👍👊💥
Hey Fonzie, thanks for the support and for watching, I am enjoying these 14th and 18th scale RCS. Guess I have been missing out on a lot of small fun.
@@sparetimerc lol they have their place for sure

People like their little typhons

Will a spektrum 315 receiver work with the stock radio, or will I need a different radio?
Thank you.
Hello Frederickgrassie, the answer is yes. It pairs with the stock transmitter. I am running the SR315 in both the Granite and Typhon grom.
Runtime?
