My dude i got back into league last week after a year long hiatus, stumbled upon your channel and i have to say, i've seen a lot of League educational content online, but this, this is really good.
Thank you for acknowledging how hard and tilting it is to try to carry these pisslow games. I’ve been in either iron or bronze my entire ranked career so far, heading into my third year. I don’t honestly have the time to invest hundreds of games so maybe that’s my issue. But to always hear the “skill issue,” “get good,” “just do this,” answers that high elo or pro coaches tend to say tends to further our tilt. You always give clear, concise explanations of what you’re doing and why that makes it easy for us unskilled players to grasp and try to work on. I feel like, by trying to implement your strategies and concepts, that I’ll finally be able to get to silver and hopefully beyond. Thanks Perry!
it was a very specific game. out of a 100 games only every 4th game or less will be like that. U had ZERI TOP who never groups aswel as the splitting azir AGAINST a lv 31 smurf kaisa. sooo yes these games exist. he showed how to carry them. it was a dream sceanario for his video purpose. he said "hopefully I have losing lanes" or smth like that. but ye, don't delulu and think every game is like that and therefore its hard to climb out as a emerald player. nah. as emerald player you will always climb out
This is not representing your average silver game, it's a game most silver players would categorize as completely unwinnable, but he still carried. Sure he had to work for it a little bit, but these are not the games you need to win to beat silver, let's not get confused here.
Honestly, I am glad you made the mistake around 13 minutes because it shows what a better player's thought process is going to be when messing up like that. I don't ever see that in other coaching videos like this because usually they play so precisely that they never make mistakes like that so I never know how to recover. Keep up the good content, this is really good stuff. Over the past week I've really been getting it hammered into me(lol) that clear, clear, clear is important. Sinerias, a challenger Yi player, also says that clear and tempo are of utmost importance to junglers. I always screw up midgame and start forgetting to clear camps by trying to group up and take dumb fights with my teammates, but now that I am resisting that impulse I am actually doing way better. The giant lead in items and XP it gives you is so nice. Plus, the jungle being *guaranteed* cs and xp vs ganking for kills which will not be a guarantee. Consistency.
i mess up mid game a lot as well because i also ignore camps after first item. You just have to deal with the spam pings and malding in chat by you not ganking and enemy jungler ganking. We're in a big farming meta, rito buffed camp exp a tonne compared to before so it's even more important to play. That's also why you tend to see a bit more of the carry style junglers in the LCK (i only follow Korea pro so idk what it's like in other regions) like Nidalee and Taliyah. Where as before at MSI it was mainly tank jungles like Sej, Maokai, Poppy etc. because exp was so bad.
Been playing League for years and never have seen guide with so much good info, the questions you answered are so important to carry, great video. I suscribe

(also the chain of malz+noc+leona which 100-0s u) so just quit searching excuses and lets improve with that.
Hey Perry, Can you show me what a game where you play well but still lose looks like? I know that's weird to ask, but sometimes I lose and start questioning whether or not I'm playing macro correctly or not. it's be nice to know what a game where you play for macro correctly but still lose looks like to know if I'm still playing correctly even if I lose
This was solid. Would be interesting to see this but with an intentional 3 kill lead to the other jungle. That would help me to know what to do when Im behind (Bronze 4 Xin Zhao Main)
Your goal should be not to get behind to begin with. Xin Zhao is a different champion and I want to be sure you're not confusing your identity for lillia's identity. Things that Xin Zhao will do differently than what he did (and that he fails to mention) are you might gank earlier rather than instantly base after farming. Xin has better damage and a knock up for ganks early while Lilia really needs her AP scaling items to do good DMG as well as cooldown reduction to keep her movement speed going. Xin isn't capped off by items like that as much early on, so you can gank harder. That's not to say bum-rush ganks and waste time either. You should very much be farming well just as he says because low elo games will always go to 30 minutes anyways and if you're falling off early then you will never make it to the late game. Keep what this video is talking about, however you should learn to glance at teammate HP and enemy HP bars while farming a little more consistently. Take it in steps. First learn to farm faster and do the train consistently. Then learn how to look at top lane while farming top at least once per camp, and look at bot lane while farming bot at least once per camp. You'll eventually find times where you might be able to clear just red buff and gank and then come back to the camps because you saw the HP was low botside or something and they were pushed up. You don't want to waste time on low value ganks, but you do want to pressure lanes a bit harder early than he does with Lilia in this video. Objectives early in the game are also a good idea for Xin though. You should be looking for the fight first, then the objectives. Don't find yourself in places where all your abilities are down on the dragon and then they come fight you and you get caught and die. You can bait for just a moment, smash buttons and fight, then take those objectives oftentimes. It's not always as simple as "just full clear" for every champion, but it is a good thing to keep your income high and not waste time. You should find yourself stronger and less behind just by farming well and taking better quality gank opportunities. That's the goal.
That's the point of the video? If you're silver, and deserve to be in silver then you would have lost this game. If you want to aspire to be in higher ranks you need to play better and win games that lower skill players would have lost. That's the only way to climb. Be better than the rank you're currently in. If you win 55% of your games you will climb, it's just a numbers game
thanks for the vid ! i think the confusing part watching this atleast for me was you kept saying :clear tempo clear tempo" while not always clearing? you skipped your red buff , your gromp several times so its more like Clear UNLESS X is going on
One general question at 9:30 u killed enemy jungler and said that his top camps are up... and then u choose first to do urs.. Now... WHY please? isn't much better to first do either his camps to steal them since u know he is dead, or do his red and then objective (risky i know) thank you..
Amazing video but can u also do this for low masters? Windows for punishment seem much less there and there's still a huge gap from there to challenger level
what he calls fighting is basically mechanics, lillia is all mechanics, so even if you copy him perfectly, you will likely not perform at this level unless you have mechanics like him, however you dont have to play lillia, there are easier champs that can also carry hard from the jungle.
Just play more to get better mechanics. He is talking about people playing for a long time being hardstuck so at that point you have decent enough mechanics to get diamond.
if your teammates listen to you thats still luck, even if your hardsmurfing (example: 20 kills average, 2 deaths average, 100% winrate in 20 games) and everyone knows because everyone is using porofessor, they STILL wont listen to your pings, doesnt matter which ones you use, they only listen to pings if you are lucky.
"Im going to have to work overtime to win this game" says the challenger ex pro player. what chance in hell do i have to carry silver games then. Means it is 10 times harder for me a silver/gold player to carry.
If it was entirely my fault and I could change it by doing X, Y, Z, that means that anyone could. That also implies that everyone should or at least could be Diamond or higher. Diamond and higher is designed to be less than 2% of the playerbase cause that's how the ranking system works. Imagine everyone at the same time decides to follow your courses and improve exactly as you say they should. We wouldn't suddenly see 98% of the players in diamond. It would still be 2% of the playerbase but the overall level would just be higher. Not everyone can be diamond and higher cause that's simply not how the ranking system works. So no, it's not my fault.
Yeah but not everyone is doing this. So you are wrong you can get diamond if you just put in the work. “But If everyone does this it doenst work that not how the ranking system works” Yeah and if my mother had wheels she would have been a bike.
the problem is people have multiple accounts. so the "top 2%" is a myth. with enough accounts created its entirely possible that 20% of the population can acheive diamond, simply because so many people have 30+ accounts, making the top few percent of players inflated. which is why so many people are so trash and the only people that are actually good at this game are diamond and above, the rest of the population literally are bot accounts or people that cant play the game.
I improved my mental quite well specially after watching your videos. The low elo narrative is hard to get off, but damn, I'm really trying with my NA low gold account (I have an emerald one). I took notes of my games and review them, while my mistakes are clear, the past day I've dealt with double jungle and my bot losing 2v1, after I recover just to have my bot lane still be completely mentally crushed or this other one where my top and mid swore to be smurfs (yeah, sure), that game 3 team mates ended up with 13, 16 and 10 deaths, refusing to group at all. And the pings thing, Ive became better with it, but damn, some people just die 5 times in a row after being warned 30 seconds in advance and until the very moment they die. 😂 A little bit of venting here, but I'm a bit amazed how that specific account seems so doomed 😂 Great video. Great content.
10:17 why would you not fight nocturne here? you know you are stronger, its liandrys vs brutalizer tiamat, i think he was distracted by the commentary and didnt see
I'm confused, this seems contradictory to the mid game video you posted recently. In that video you said to ignore camps over objectives/towers but in this video it appears that camps and tempo take priority. Any insights on this?
pretty much yeah, unless u playing against invading junglers that could fuck you up at your red buff, and your team wont help you prolly so in that case is better to start red or skip a camp to reach your red faster, or recall for items after 3 camps and then go to your red buff side. But overall just play around bot-> mid-> last top. IF your bot is hard inting try to just get the enemy jg/bot shutdowns, if its impossible, focus on mid, and if for some reason your top is winning hard, focus on playing on that side of the map. But mostly full clear is the way to go, your random team that pings for stupid stuff or for a gank, when the enemy bot is full hp, all summs up, and they just got outplayed hard.... well nothing u can do about it, back to gromp PP: On red side you prolly start red, and down the line u want to path to early prio lanes and depending on matchups but thats more complicated for higher ranks
@@denisdeniss7791Is prolly a joke but anyways 1.first im talking about first part of the game, when no one has helped anyone yet, so if they dont help him in case of invade, they will be the first one doing the deed and suffering when enemy jg ganks them lvl 3 2. They can farm their lanes, but is a team game...if he go monke click and they go monke click entire game, the enemy laner or JG with a few simple pings are gonna get easy advantage over them 3. Its randoms at low elo below diamond/master, u never gonna meet them again if u keep climbing. Most of them never gonna make it out of that hell, and u dont really want to listen and help em with stupid calls just cuz they fucked their lane or they want to flip a kill. Seriously think about how many times u followed a call and said holy wtf happened 😂 4. Review vods, and see how enemy outplayed your call or how u played, see patterns
Even in Challenger, people complain about having bad teammates. At the end of the day if you're in a low rank it's because you aren't playing well enough to win more than you lose. Sometimes games are unwinnable, but if you win 55% of your games, you will eventually climb
I like your explanation of the fundamentals, but the problem is you're a challenger player playing in these low elo games - essentially a smurf yourself. You can't then say "If you're better than this tier, just carry 4 terrible teammates every game for a hundred games" because that isn't how any ranking system in any game works - it only takes ONE smurf on the enemy team to counter your carry of those 4 terrible teammates. Junglers absolutely can blame their laners when they're all 0/5 in the laning phase because if you're say a "gold" tier player playing in "silver", you're not going to be able to carry against 3 hard-fed opposition with no competent teammate to play around - the game simply becomes impossible to win (even more so if one of their players is a smurf too). In general, Smurf accounts shouldn't be allowed, and riot should clamp down on these accounts. It is not fun coming across a clearly higher tier player than your own rank.
32:41 hahaha lmao I die laughing every time when people start of like yea low elo is so easy and in one of those games reality hits them hard. It is a 5 man team game with 3 lanes, it is hard to even win a bot game 1v5 because you can only push back 1 lane at a time. Not to mention if those bots are extra fed and equal items as you. You need at least one or two other players that can at least hold a lane
its not easy but i think he teaches how your decision making makes the game simpler for the shittier teammates, and if they all go 0/10 then go next if youre not a smurf and cant carry. the premise is just make sure to carry every other winnable game
than play maby 10 games one by one and show this on opgg cuz one game is nothing i go to bronze and i have all time 3- wins 2 loses or 3 loses 2 wins and all time same
I agree with everything except the teammates listening to your pings, the majority of games where i get like 2 to 3 kills in before 5 minutes they still dont listen to the pings even its like 30 seconds or more before the gank or invade or scuttle fight
Look man, yeah what youre saying is true, but Im sorry when your bot lane is 0/10 at 10 minutes, BOTH OF THEM, spam pinging useless shit and stuff, mid lane 0/9 at 10 minutes, theres no way of coming back in that game. My jungle will get invaded by like their entire team and its gg. Say whatever you want, think whatever you want, clearly you have never experience huge loss streaks and what it does to your account. I main Nocturne/Wukong and I know the clears and strenghts and weaknesses but its really 50/50, its a team game, not a 1 v9 game. You keep posting these videos in low elo but youre not actually a low elo player. Im literally stuck in Platinum for like 2 seasons now and theres just no hope at this point. higher chances of me ending up back in gold than Emerald. By some miracle, when you post a video your bot lane is always crashing the wave or some shit when drake is up n stuff, in my games my bot lane LITERALLY RECALLS ON FULL MANA AND HP BCZ THEY HAVE LIKE 890 GOLD LOL! Its a joke. ANd drake is instanly lost and its "jg diff". Thats why lately im moving away from jungle to top but thats a whole different story.
Been playing league for years and I’m currently peaked at d4 and I promise you THIS IS NOT HOW REAL LEAGUE IS. So honestly might have to discredit this video :/
Dispelling the Low Elo Narrative Playlist: th-cam.com/video/bHDl_cdanVU/w-d-xo.html
Perry: "Do this do that do this do that and do this and that"
Average viewer: "Perma full clear, got it"
My thoughts exactly xD problem is that by 4:20, bot is 0/6 top is 0/3 and mid is 0/4 :P
Lol, don't forget to not go for JG Obj.

At 1:56 when the lux dies why doesn’t the enemy kill score go up? Score was 1-0 then lux dies and nothing changes.
It's probably related to the times I've seen someone get first blood on the 2nd kill. 😂
Ok this might be the best low elo JG guide I’ve seen. Also guys enjoy Lilia while u still can, I’m pretty sure she is 53%+ win rate over all ranks

I was hardstuck silver for a season, then just decided to fill clear until 6 every game and instantly hit diamond it’s really that easy

Ah yes, the reason I'm stuck iron isn't bc I had a braum jungle, it's bc me and my s+ mf didn't carry once briar invaded jungle repeatedly
yeah man, its cause your cat was on the keyboard and the dog ate your keyboard
What are you supposed to do if laners just feed and have no priority to do any objectives. -.-
12:00 would you take those bottom camps if your bot side starts to lose so you start pathing top if the topside is winning?
Yep
Moral of the story: Play Lillia because she’s broken af

what are the videos good fighting?
so in summary, to barely scrape together a win against silver players all you need to do is have professional level mechanics. damn its that easy?
Fullclear is daily gotcha
Without some insane mechanics you showed i'm afraid silver players will only feed this way.
Yeah nope if you play like then you will even with shit mechanics get plat/emerald
So moral of the story, impossible to carry. Also, that kaisa not a smurf. Just hard stuck from retarted teamates.
"Im going to have to work overtime to win this game" says the challenger ex pro player. what chance in hell do i have to carry silver games then. Means it is 10 times harder for me a silver/gold player to carry.
but not every game is like that so you are just coping
Silvers do not Zhonya flash, so yes, Kaisa was 100% smurf

What would define being "hardstuck"? How many games would I need to have in a split without going above a specific rank to be hardstuck do you think?
10:17 why would you not fight nocturne here? you know you are stronger, its liandrys vs brutalizer tiamat, i think he was distracted by the commentary and didnt see
Bc he is playing for the next objective. You play to win. Not to just get kills.
I'm confused, this seems contradictory to the mid game video you posted recently. In that video you said to ignore camps over objectives/towers but in this video it appears that camps and tempo take priority. Any insights on this?
ok got it, if im emerald i won't look at the lanes and i'll just hit all 6 camps and start blue everygame! thanks! wonderful!
pretty much yeah, unless u playing against invading junglers that could fuck you up at your red buff, and your team wont help you prolly so in that case is better to start red or skip a camp to reach your red faster, or recall for items after 3 camps and then go to your red buff side. But overall just play around bot-> mid-> last top. IF your bot is hard inting try to just get the enemy jg/bot shutdowns, if its impossible, focus on mid, and if for some reason your top is winning hard, focus on playing on that side of the map. But mostly full clear is the way to go, your random team that pings for stupid stuff or for a gank, when the enemy bot is full hp, all summs up, and they just got outplayed hard.... well nothing u can do about it, back to gromp
PP: On red side you prolly start red, and down the line u want to path to early prio lanes and depending on matchups but thats more complicated for higher ranks
why should his team help him if he not gonna help anyone and just farm? The team should farm their lanes as well :)
@@denisdeniss7791Is prolly a joke but anyways
1.first im talking about first part of the game, when no one has helped anyone yet, so if they dont help him in case of invade, they will be the first one doing the deed and suffering when enemy jg ganks them lvl 3
2. They can farm their lanes, but is a team game...if he go monke click and they go monke click entire game, the enemy laner or JG with a few simple pings are gonna get easy advantage over them
3. Its randoms at low elo below diamond/master, u never gonna meet them again if u keep climbing. Most of them never gonna make it out of that hell, and u dont really want to listen and help em with stupid calls just cuz they fucked their lane or they want to flip a kill. Seriously think about how many times u followed a call and said holy wtf happened 😂
4. Review vods, and see how enemy outplayed your call or how u played, see patterns
You’re experiencing what true low elo games are like lol
Well, in my games my top dies before I finish the blue and my botlane is 0/3 before I finish the full clear.
i'll review you if thats true

Even in Challenger, people complain about having bad teammates. At the end of the day if you're in a low rank it's because you aren't playing well enough to win more than you lose. Sometimes games are unwinnable, but if you win 55% of your games, you will eventually climb
29:36 cc 💀
You need at least one or two other players that can at least hold a lane
its not easy but i think he teaches how your decision making makes the game simpler for the shittier teammates, and if they all go 0/10 then go next if youre not a smurf and cant carry. the premise is just make sure to carry every other winnable game
than play maby 10 games one by one and show this on opgg cuz one game is nothing i go to bronze and i have all time 3- wins 2 loses or 3 loses 2 wins and all time same
guys this man will blow up. Remember me when ud o.
At 6 minutes in game, why's it better to do drake than dive the kaisa?
probably just the safer play requires less effort so you can do it more consistently
I agree with everything except the teammates listening to your pings, the majority of games where i get like 2 to 3 kills in before 5 minutes they still dont listen to the pings even its like 30 seconds or more before the gank or invade or scuttle fight
Wow
perry is cute ngl
thoughts on your boy tarzaned/dantes drama
Solo climb out of Iron as adc then. No partners, no duo, no switching to mid or jungle when you get frustrated. Prove me wrong.
What is real league?
